TOMMY Robinson, who is visiting Texas, has welcomed the 94.8 % Yes vote by Texan Republican Party members on Proposition 10 that states “Texas should prohibit Sharia law.”
The Texas Republican Primary was held on March 3, 2026. Registered Republican voters in Texas had the opportunity to vote for candidates and 10 Propositions.
The yes/no questions on propositions are essentially opinion polls for the respective political parties, so they can get feedback on how their voters feel about particular issues. While the vote does not ban Sharia law, it opens the gate for future government action on that very proposal.
Robinson also interviewed Texas Congressional candidate and Iranian expatriate Apteen Vaziri who issued a firsthand warning about the rise of Sharia influence in Texas and the United States in general.
Born in Iran and raised as a political refugee, Vaziri drew haunting parallels between the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran and the current political climate in the West.
He says the term “Islamophobia,” should really be “Islamotrauma”, which he relates to his family’s history of torture and displacement at the hands of the Islamic regime installed in 1979.

Vaziri says mosques are in effect military and political outposts rather than houses of worship. His interview with Robinson serves as a wake-up call to Texans and the wider world about the “Back to the Future” playbook he believes is being used to dismantle Western freedoms from within.
Meanwhile the Proposition No. 10 asked Texan Republican voters to confirm the following statement with a Yes or No vote: “Texas should prohibit Sharia Law”. A massive majority of 1,903,489 out of 2,007,779 (94.8%) Republican voters voted “Yes” from the polling locations reporting on March 4.
Texas is considered a political megatrend state with the known slogan “so goes Texas so goes the United States.” It was crucial that Texas Republicans overwhelmingly voted to approve Proposition 10 to stop Sharia law from taking a stronghold in Texas and the United States like it has in Europe.
Hopefully, the 94.8% vote will inspire Texas law makers, the governor and attorney general to act swiftly as well as inspire officials in other states.
Florida Family Association promoted a Yes vote on Proposition 10 through email alerts, home page article and newsletter.
Debbie Georgatos from the Republican National Committee commented: “It’s an opportunity for Texas to give the primal scream of we want you to do something of the obvious Islamic invasion of Texas. We focused on Sharia law because it’s a tactic of conquest. They (Imams) are telling us we are coming as an Islamic ideology to take down Texas.”
