Townsville Bureau
The Brisbane-centric LNP is spinning its Claytons crocodile regulations which simply remove a croc from someone’s backyard and let it go in another front yard causing more casualties.
The state government claim that they have made rivers and creeks safer by removing a handful of crocs is just media spin from entrenched Labor bureaucrats.
Last week a man was mauled by a crocodile at Ingham, the Premier’s home town but the LNP answer is to try and catch it then give it to one of only a few crococile farms which don’t want it.
Crocs over 1.5 meters in length have no commercial value say croc farmers and they are full to capacity in any case and do not want any more from the wild.
Farmers claim most crocs caught by the EPA are usually shot but not publicly admitted. KAP says just shoot the bigger ones in our waterways. It is far less costly in terms of transport, manpower and injuries and the Minister would not have to tell any more lies.
Like Labor the LNP is held to ransom by a half a dozen members of the crazy crocodile protection mob which wants to leave maneaters in the suburbs of North Queensland.
Katters Australian Party has legislation on the table ready to go which would deal with the extraordinary explosion of numbers after a succession of big wet seasons.
The LNP has done everything it can to prevent this Safer Waterways bill from being debated in Parliament. Our information is that most property owners in any case have been dealing with the problem without any government help.

Well folks,
Just paint an Australian Flag on the back of each croc, then Lucifer himself wouldn’t be able to stop the armies of shit-for-brains hired mercenary f-wits from killing them all.
Animals are smart. When previous crocodile culls and shooting got under way the crocs developed a respect for humans. A fear which I believe was transferred into the next generation who were born with a fear and that is a good thing. They learn to stay out of mans way and eat something else. When the culling stopped the fear stopped and the crocs have gone back to their old ways. Answer: there has to be at least controlled culling of crocs.
The crocs have to fear man and get the hell out of the way.
Hey folks,
The mainstream paradigm is that crocodiles and sharks are dumb as planks, just instinctive killing machines.
I call BS. Plenty of evidence that they’re both REALLY smart and calculating animals. Anyone seeing the video of the baby hippo jumping up and down on the heads of 20-foot Nile Crocodiles while the reptiles just sat there and unflinchingly took the abuse would have to wonder, but it’s no mystery, they KNEW Mama Hippo was right there and would bite any crocodile that harmed her baby in half.
Ditto sharks, folks, they eat because they have to, but that doesn’t mean they don’t also think.
In any case, what’s the big deal about culling crocodiles? If you’re not going to thin out their numbers Ned, then how about removing all of them by a few thousand km from the nearest Human settlement? Which option is more economically viable, which option is more practical, which option is even possible, given that you KNOW no matter how many of them you “remove”, they’re just gonna keep coming back? And if they don’t fear Humans then they’ll continue to eat them whenever they get an opportunity.
Maybe, just maybe, there’s a lesson to be learned from Mama Hippo. Because they’re not stupid, folks, crocodiles ARE capable of learning by example and making risk/reward assessments, but that’s moot when there’s absolutely no risk and abundant opportunity for easy meals.
Problem is socialists who all want a free lunch but don’t even know where their lunch comes from, they are on the state teat all their life and live in a sort of fairy land where animals don’t eat each other, they cuddle each other, tigers cuddle unicorns and so forth. Klaus Swab & co will give them what they want, it’s simple just roll up your sleeve. Remember, ALP and Greens Party voted against va666ine inquiry. ALP has the most WEF members, Andrew Charlton, Kayla Murnain, laire Oneill.
MWA HA HA HA HAAAA
Plenty of human “varmint” commenting here…The varmint that really needs culling is the arrogant human variety.
Aussie bovine elected a state gov that outlawed the culling of crocodiles. Aussie bovine therefore deserve to be eaten by hungry crocs.
Speaking of which, someone should run a tourism campaign to encourage Asian tourism and swimming in north QLD/NT. Crocs need to experience the diverse flavours of human flesh too.
Aussies = bovine.
Years ago some young backpacker told me that in Cambodia you could pay to shoot a cow with a bazooka, well it wouldn’t appeal to me but I can see a good income stream, tourists shooting all these varmints and converting them to cooked dinners. The sharks also seem to be eating a lot of people this summer when in fact they should be on the menu as they are useless varmints with hardly any brain power or environment value, they should stick to eating dead whales which are of course abundant now. All this seems to be great copy for the news media and personally I don’t think there is enough of it from Cairns News, since the NT news seems to survive on not much more.
The only good croc is a dead croc so shoot them out of existence but keep some of them in secure croc farms for farming but no exceptions get rid of them from nature completely they are dangerous.
Hey folks,
Give Bob Katter his due, his reasoning and disposition on this subject is impeccable. Bob’s allusion the the spiritual factor hits the nail on the head IMO.
Meanwhile, crocodiles and dingoes gotta eat, but how come we can shoot the dingoes and not the crocodiles? Maybe for the same reason you can’t criticise bull dykes, the crocs just aren’t cute enough. What an inversion, folks, it’s hard to pin down but something has gone off the rails here.
Lucky we don’t have Velociraptors on the loose, they’d be like Cane Toads with teeth.
Sorry.. Where are the “2 thoughts” on this subject of crocodiles please.? They are not visible from my viewpoint… anyone else’s.??
