A reader says One Nation would be elected in a landslide if they propose to enact Castle Law at a federal level

Castle Law — Put the Pain and Fear on Criminals — Not Innocent Families

If One Nation promises to pass federal law modeled on Katters Castle Law bill giving people the right to defend their lives, their families, their homes and possessions with lethal force where necessary without fear of prosecution — they will get elected in a landslide.

Australia has had enough of politicians protecting criminals; Courts let killers and criminals off because politicians allow it with weak laws. Labor and Liberal National Parties incompetent governance has not built new jails to house them, so Courts have nowhere to put them. This is why the political duopoly do not want them convicted, many jails are overcrowded and unable to function correctly.

The crime problem could be solved very quickly by adopting Singapore punishment laws, when it physically hurts the criminal, as they hurt, injured and terrified their victims.

Give criminals the cane and the mongrels will quickly modify their behaviour, return to court and the punishment is doubled every time they re-appear; they set their own punishment, no exceptions. Watch the crime rate quickly reduce, saving police, courts and jail costs.

Sincerely

8 thought on “Will One Nation introduce Castle Law to protect home owners from invading criminals?”
  1. What’s all the fuss about? Lest you all get safe and comfortable and decide you no longer need them, It’s just our politicians’ way of letting us know we’re no longer safe from them even in our own ‘castles’.

  2. I doubt you need new/more laws and statutes.
It’s a bizarre situation where the people need to ask the government for permission to defend their life and property from criminal intruders.
It seems like certain absurd premises had been accepted that should not have been accepted? I suspect that fraud was involved by those that were selling those premises…that apparently are still being accepted today…hence the need to “ask” the government for “permission” to defend life and property against criminal intruders.
I think there is a problem with people’s understanding of the word; “legitimate” or “legitimacy”. Maybe that’s the whole problem?

  3. I have my doubts whether a lot of good will come from good intentions. The Vatican is against self defence.

  4. Magoo60: Justice sets examples so hanging will get the message delivered and they then become organ donors

  5. Do as I have done , install spy cameras throughout your home and then if you like you could post the photo’s on Youtube . I am keeping mine for evidence .

  6. The right to self defence should not be infringed by anyone in any way and in a house reasonable force should include guns. Too bad the principle came unstuck with Oscar Pistorias shooting his girlfriend through a bathroom door and then only got 9 years.

I don’t agree with the death penalty because the courts seem to get it wrong so often, I believe in more transparency and maybe judges and lawyers can be replaced by AI so they need not be influenced by threats or other forms of persuasion. The old ways are what built countires, things like caning and chain gangs, the modern jail is better then some people’s living conditions.

I hope the Orange Party can repeal a vast amount of UnaParty legislation, it will be a massive task but much easier with AI law-book searches, public transparency/input and AI projections of unexpected outcomes.

  7. Recently, a local dog escaped its property, jumped my farm wire fence & went after the poultry scattering hundreds of down feathers from the terrified chickens. I dealt with the dog & in a shocked state it was returned to its owner who said nothing at all & omitted to apologise. When I contacted the Shire Ranger, the first thing he stated to me was – you know you have the right to kill the dog!!! And herein lies the irony of our illogical Australian Law = I am allowed to kill an animal which broaches my property boundary BUT if I injure a violent criminal who breaks into my house then I the stand the probability of myself being jailed if I hurt that said gutless, thieving coward/rapist/ratbag piece of filth while defending my family/myself/my home. In this once great country the Law is usually on the side of the intruder as many past Australian Court Cases have proven. Any politician who supports such disparity deserves to rot in prison for ever & a day. In all sensibilities, One Nation MUST promise to bring in Castle Law if they are ever fortunate enough to win the next election.

  8. A wo(man)’s home is their CASTLE. Simple. Those who trespass to commit harm, steal, destroy and cause death should be put on the gallows. SIMPLE. Prisons are for money-making, the same as everything else. It’s a goverment run agency (I think a number of them are privately owned but don’t quote me on that). If One Nation promised that those that trespass with the intent of committing any of the harms listed above, it too would be a landslide victory. Bring back the Death Penalty!
