Yarrabah one of Australia’s most pampered Aboriginal communities south east of Cairns is unable to stop their youth wrecking police cars and ambulances with rocks.
Local LNP state member of parliament Terry James said police are “unable to arrest kids out of this situation.”
Rocking and smashing government cars has been ongoing since 2017 when Yarrabah’s security department was shut down overnight after a security guard required emergency facial surgery for a broken jaw and lost several teeth.
In 2019 health workers had to enter town under police escort after being hit with lead sinkers during street brawls.
The violence escalated in 2020 causing emergency services to be shut down after a vehicle carrying nursing staff was targeted.
Attacks flared again in 2025 when a healthcare worker was injured after a bus window was smashed and in May a cop was injured after rocks smashed his police car.
Well, not to worry said the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service the attacks were decreasing in spite of the Yarrabah Health Services issuing a warning on Facebook Jan 13, when an emergency services vehicle was targeted several times in one week.
Mr James supported health staff telling Yarrabah officials the community would soon lose services, an empty threat which is like water on a duck’s back in Aboriginal communities.
They know one call to a Labor member would see a cavalcade of medicos and ambulances descend on the community like a nest of ants, rocks or sinkers notwithstanding.
Youths from the Yarrabah community are believed by Cairns residents to be largely responsible for 808 far northern car thefts in 2025 and 41 already stolen in January this year, without mentioning home invasions, break and enters, robberies, street violence, drunkenness and general mayhem.
In 2024-25 Yarrabah Council received a total of $69 million in grant funding and an incalculable amount paid by Centrelink Services to the 2500 (approx) community members as sit down money.
Cairns federal Labor member Matt Smith has been unable to do anything to ameliorate the crisis, and just like Albanese believes the ‘poor blackfella me’ mob are misunderstood.
Yarrabah kids should be thankful there are no ICE agents in Queensland.

Nothing surprises me anymore… these scumbags up north are out of control.. GRRR. these little turds should be rounded and prosecuted just like any other Aussie. I kind of agree with Go Walkabout.. It has to do with colonialism… they went from a free healthy people living on the land to what they are today.. grog soaked courtesy of the government, on handouts, no real purpose.. their way of life is no more. Same with most indigenous that were ‘civilised’. And the ‘whites’ just do not understand them.

Big difference between hunting and gathering and being a scab. Those darkies grew up hating anyone in authority while their families had to live in share accommodation anything up to 10 families living under the same roof because the government mob in charge of housing never got around to maintaining houses so they became unliveable as was seen in the Murdoch Cairns f’king Post in the 90’s when they ran a story on Yarrabah housing .
As well as no work there was Fk’all to do as I saw the place in those times so I don’t expect there would be any difference today .
That land is worth $ squillions in resort style tourism if only if someone were smart enough to get the darkies to want to leave voluntarily . .

They are not government vehicles, even though the pretend government bought them.
They are vehicles belonging to corporations.
The powers that be should be upfront about their deceptions.
Now the matter of lawlessness amongst young aboriginals is expected since they are not treated as the criminals that they are.
If white kids did that when I was young, they would have ended up in a semi-type of prison for kids at Beaudesert.
But now that lawlessness is supported by the fake pretend government, they can do as they please with no penalties.

Good. Aussie cattle deserve to have their cars stolen and homes invaded by machete carrying Indigenous Australians. It’s part of living in a multicultural country. White Aussies particularly deserve it as they allowed themselves to be disarmed.
As for the emergency services getting attacked, tough luck! You volunteered to join an organisation that failed in its duty of care to provide adequate training and equipment to allow you to do your job. You’re the definition of shabbos goyim.
