The Tiger ARH consistently struggled with higher-than-expected sustainment costs and lower-than-expected availability.

I’m not concerned about Australia getting rid of military junk by letting Russia send it to the bottom of the Black Sea but where is the treaty between Australia and Ukraina. They’re not in NATO and we’re told they are legally still part of Russia. We hear nothing about Putin’s plebiscite in the Donbass and nothing about the pre-history of this in about 2014 when the Malaysia plane was shot. Isn’t there supposed to be a legal basis for things. Echoing Dr Chussodovsky’s arguments, Malaysia’s prominent political scientist, Islamic reformist and activist Dr Chandra Muzaffar said that the US has always manipulated religion to further its global hegemony on sovereign states.
For example, he said the Arab spring was brought about by Colonel Muammar Muhammad Gaddafi’s resistance to US dominance.

To this very day, NATO hasn’t changed its aggressive posturing and continues to be the greatest threat to world peace.
This was perfectly clear in December 2021, when Moscow made the last-ditch effort to prevent a direct confrontation. Namely, it offered the US/NATO a treaty that would confirm the concept of the indivisibility of security. Among the points presented by Russia, there was “strict compliance with the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs”, including refraining from supporting “organizations, groups or individuals calling for an unconstitutional change of power”, which was clearly an attempt to stop color revolutions and similar black ops that were essentially a crawling precursor to every aggression by NATO.
Most importantly, the treaty envisaged the creation of “cooperation mechanisms to settle emerging issues and disputes through a constructive dialogue on the basis of mutual respect for and recognition of each other’s security interests and concerns”, seeking to “avoid any military confrontation and armed conflict between the Parties and realizing that direct military clash between them could result in the use of nuclear weapons that would have far-reaching consequences”, reaffirming that “nuclear war cannot be won and must never be fought, and recognizing the need to make every effort to prevent the risk of outbreak of such war among States that possess nuclear weapons”. Perfectly reasonable, right?
Well, not for the unadulterated war criminals in Brussels and the US Deep State.
The mainstream propaganda machine officially calls these proposals “December 2021 Russian ultimatum to NATO”. In reality, this supposed “ultimatum” was nothing more than the rehashing of several treaties between the USSR and the US, including the agreements on Measures to Reduce the Risk of Outbreak of Nuclear War of 30 September 1971, the Prevention of Incidents On and Over the High Seas of 25 May 1972, the Establishment of Nuclear Risk Reduction Centers of 15 September 1987, as well as the Prevention of Dangerous Military Activities of 12 June 1989. As previously mentioned, all this was rejected.

Australia previously offered to send a squadron of F/A 18 Hornet fighter jets which Ukraine rejected with “We don’t want Aussie flying junk”. More recently, we gave them 40 or more Abrams battle tanks and cash as well.
Why are we doing this? We have no interest in Ukraine, and Russia is not an enemy to us. Those tanks and helicopters should have been kept in Australia or sold to a third party, not sent to be demolished in the Donbas.
Without decent pilots they are useless.
I remember some months back, when this British journalist was explaining how he nearly soiled himself when given a test run by some German attack-helicopter crews.
They were diving near vertical and pulling out at the last minute, – just like the old Stuka pilots.
It takes years to train this type of crew.
Manned aircraft are becoming obsolete and replaced by long-distance guided aircraft that cost nothing to produce.
The British are finding this out with their fancy multi-million dollar high-tech scout car. It takes five years to train the crew, but they cannot deploy it in Ukraine as it would be immediately destroyed by a thousand buck drone driven by a spotty teenager on his Russian Army Play-Station.
The British Army now have to choose their battles carefully in order to deploy their equipment without losing it in a week.
The modern battlefield has moved on.
