Key Information:
The largest pro-Palestine demonstrations in Australia’s history are planned for this Sunday, as a broad national coalition combining every major Palestine organising group nationally unites for a country-wide day of action.
The march is backed by key union federations including Victorian Trades Hall Council, Unions NSW, Hunter Workers, Unions WA, and South Coast Labour Council. This is the first time union federations have backed Palestine action in any coordinated way.
The scale of participation, with demonstrations currently planned for 21 locations across the country, suggests widespread support for the Palestinian people among the Australian public. As a result, Sunday will see protests in every capital city, as well as places as diverse as Geraldton, Coffs Harbour, and Pine Gap. Some will be hosting their first ever protests for Palestine. The Albanese government has sought to respond to this growing public pressure to stop Israel’s siege and assault on Gaza by raising the question of symbolic recognition. Yet spokespeople for the pro-Palestine movement, which is the largest ongoing anti-war movement for generations, have made it clear that that they insist on action to try to end the ongoing genocide, not meaningless words.
Palestinian organiser Mai Saif explained the intention of the march: “So many people are disgusted at the scenes of men, women and children being deliberately starved and bombed to death by Israel. We will be taking to the streets in enormous numbers, in at least 21 cities and towns across the country.”
Melbourne organiser Jasmine Duff said: “We call on those with any ounce of humanity to march on August 24 in every pocket of Australia, from the capital cities to our most isolated towns. History must record that when our government armed a world-historic genocide, Australia said not in our name. We will not condone a single weapons component or scrap of steel provided by our government to arm Israel as it slaughters and starves the people of Gaza.”
Sydney organiser Josh Lees said: “Albanese has attempted to buy off the Palestine movement by recognising the same state his government is helping to destroy. We made history when we marched on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, and we will make history this Sunday by flooding the country with marches for Palestine. If you’ve watched in horror as mass starvation grips Gaza, and as our government continues to arm Israel, this is the moment to join the movement in the streets.”

Well a magistrate has ruled that the march cannot be held over the Story Bridge.. and the police will not approve an alternative route and have therefore said there is to be no march at all !!
Because the decision only came down today the organisers will not have time to challenge in the Supreme Court. The organisers say they will still meet in the park in Brisbane.. The police will surround this park and no one will be allowed to march or be arrested.
So this is what we have come to.. and who wields the power here where people cannot march in peaceful protest against something evil.

Jewish tourists break up hillside Christian cross and use stones to create giant Star of David in its place – The Ugly Truth
A group of Jewish terrorists masquerading as tourists were filmed destroying a landmark cross on a Welsh hillside and using the stones to create a giant Star of David in its place.
The 60ft long cross made from loose stones is believed to have been in place for at least 50 years on the hill below the Great Orme summit in Llandudno, North Wales, a popular tourist spot that is widely known in the local area.
So when footage emerged showing a group of young people, some wearing traditional Jewish kippah headcaps, removing stones from a long-standing Christian symbol, many were furious.
A video posted on a local Facebook group filmed last Friday showed a group of terrorist Jews kicking at stones that made up the outline of the cross.
It then shows the Jewish terrorists using the stones from the cross to make an alternative piece of religious iconography along the hillside: a Star of David, the symbol of the terrorist religion of the Jews.
The episode happened near the summit of the 679ft high limestone headland, which has panoramic views of Snowdonia, Anglesey, the Isle of Man, Blackpool and the Lake District.

I saw one news report on Spain saying there were 20 arsonists caught in relation to forest fires. Then I watched crooked SBS-TV who instead talked up ClimateChange™ as usual and said nothing about arsonists, but instead fearmongered about 1 degree warmer weather. What a joke.
Then my ears pricked up. The boss of Spain said as a result of these fires,,,,, they would be going into a PERMANENT STATE OF EMERGENCY. Media coverage and social media posts went wild when Palestinian photojournalist Muath Amarneh was blinded in his left eye after he was hit by a rubber bullet while covering a protest in the West Bank.
However, Amarneh was far from unique; Israeli snipers targeting participants in Gaza’s weekly Great Return March protests have aimed for the legs – and eyes. To date, Gaza’s Ministry of Health reports that 50 protesters have been shot in the eye since the demonstrations began March 30, 2018 – leaving them permanently blind.
“Some of these protesters and journalists were hit in the eye with teargas canisters, but most were targeted directly with what is commonly called a ‘rubber bullet,’ giving the impression they are somehow benign,” says Ashraf Alqedra, MD, a treating physician at Gaza City’s al-Shifa Hospital and spokesperson for the Ministry of Health.
“But there is still steel at the core, and although these bullets don’t usually kill, they do grave damage. It is impossible to save an eye hit directly by a rubber-coated steel bullet.”
However, he adds, due to the Israeli blockade, there are no artificial, glass eyes in Gaza – only a cosmetic improvement, but one that can be a significant psychological aid. These are available only by travelling out of Gaza for treatment and permits for such journeys are often not granted.
