Independent Senate candidates and Lower House candidates are looking for volunteers to help with handing out how-to-vote cards at polling booths across NQ at pre-polling and on polling day May 3.
Senate candidates such as Gerard Rennick, Malcolm Roberts and Lower House candidate Bob Katter need help in Kennedy and Leichardt electorates. Other independents will need help too. Scrutineers are also required.
We know unless there is a revolution overnight no amount of complaining or ignoring the terrible state the country is in will help the next generation.
The only alternative right now is to keep good independents in the parliament and try to get some new ones elected.
Please contact cairnsnews@protonmail.com putting ‘Booth Worker’ in the subject line.
Labor and Greens have the unions and school teachers to help and they usually send busloads across the north for polling booths while the LNP has a handful of farmers and professionals but their ranks are getting very thin too. The ALP motto is ‘vote early and vote often.’
This is the first time an advertisement has been needed for booth workers in the north. In past years the MP’s say they have had plenty of volunteers but at each election they are getting older.
It is difficult to get younger helpers. Most workers who assisted in the north at the past three elections were over 60, many were around 75 years old and this time a few of them are 80 or more.
Several have passed on and not been replaced. Can you help?
For all other areas please contact your independent candidates and offer what assistance you can for important pre-polling and on May 3. Be a scrutineer if you can.
The result of this election will define the future of Australia.
For North Queensland assistance please contact cairnsnews@protonmail.com putting ‘Booth Worker’ in the subject line.

“If you’re looking for some master plan to come save the world like Sooper Dooper Man virtually overnight, well, good luck with that. Not going to happen,”
I was placed in the naughty corner so should not be communicating with other readers, but as I have some respect for you and your comments over numerous years, I will make these last comments.
I have never indicated that I was looking for a master plan or “Sooper Dooper Man” (Saviours, etc) quite the opposite. Well over 40 years of research and working in the systems, has not given me any results or a realization that such would work.
What I have “grasped” is, that “waiting” has been and will continue to be a disaster, in concern of achieving any real success, anything of value.
The grubs “controlling” the narratives have for many decades had enormous success with pushing us into – just waiting. They know exactly how to keep us bitching and fighting amongst ourselves – fragmented.
Australian Communities working together is the only real answer; following prophecies and predictions are only possibilities. Possible is hope, not 100% fact – it will eventually happen, because Billy Bloggs said so.
Eventually the hope can run out, run out of luck, people are harmed, and/or killed off, enslaved, etc.
Leading people to believe that they will have to wait many more years before anything of value can be achieved, is in my “forsaken opinion” not all that positive.
You said: “The last five years has been a necessary precursor to the next eight.”
So, the harm and deaths over the last five years was necessary?
No doubt the grubs who have been harming and killing us would very much agree with that statement – I very much to not agree.
And waiting for another eight years with more of the same, again I have a bit of trouble agreeing with that – just my “forsaken opinion.”
Another eight years of just accepting our fate, like I have said before, good luck with that, I will check back in eight years, I sincerely “hope” that you are still around then.
As I am obviously not on the good side of the Editors and am one of only a very small number of other CN readers, who may agree with my research results and “forsaken opinion” – I will find a different track to walk along.
Good luck.
ron said – “… Apparently many are resigned to simply wait at least eight years until we can do/achieve anything of value…”
You’re missing the big picture here Ron.
According to Martin Armstrong, EVERYTHING has it’s time, and according to his AI program Socrates – which has NEVER been wrong, not even once in it’s 30 odd years of running – all this current tomfoolery and mayhem will continue to play out for another eight years before the Globalists are finally defeated and decisively crushed.
Everyone is just one little cog in a larger whole, and everyone has their own little part to play in everything that’s now unfolding.
If you’re looking for some master plan to come save the world like Sooper Dooper Man virtually overnight, well, good luck with that. Not going to happen, any more than the Snowy River Scheme was all done and dusted in a week.
You even articulated the reality yourself – “… Good idea, should work out well, like it has during the last five years…” – though apparently failing to grasp it. The last five years has been a necessary precursor to the next eight.
Five years of threshing about hasn’t been enough, another eight years of beating our heads against the wall is still required before our baby-eating adversaries ultimately succumb and the walls finally come down.
Another eight years, folks. Best get to work.

Yeah you pull that one often enough, a cop out when you are lost for an original come back.
My comment about Cairns News Editors originating from MSM, no, not saved, easily found when searching on internet re: About Cairns News.
You said: ” If you knew anything about newspapers or media in Australia every reporter has worked for MSM at some stage or another.”
Yeah – No. Many “alternate media” reporters and hosts here and overseas have not worked for MSM. They would not do so, it would be something that they would likely not be proud of if they did.
ABC, have not watched or listened to it for years.
I appears to me that CN Editors who came from MSM have not really left that way of thinking and their inflated egos, arrogance, and their supposed superior knowledge shows, it is evident when communicating with mere mortals such as myself.
Thanks for the memories.
No worries mate you have had too many mental incursions of reds under beds. It is interesting that you found that comment among 105,000 other comments from a couple of years ago. Did you have it filed? If you knew anything about newspapers or media in Australia every reporter has worked for MSM at some stage or another. Julian Assange comes to mind. Never mind the ABC has some nice reading. Ed
To Editors CN:
Thanks for alerting me about – ” We know the origins of some commenters because we have some of the best IT volunteers in Australia.”
Taking into consideration that info and that Cairns News took on staff from the MSM – I will leave your to hold your front line.
Apparently many are resigned to simply wait at least eight years until we can do/achieve anything of value. Good idea, should work out well, like it has during the last five years.
I will check back in eight years to see how things are going.
Cheers.
You are safe Ron none of us pose enough risk to Deep Sate. Ed
To Editor:
I have taken note of your statement to me:
“We know the origins of some commenters because we have some of the best IT volunteers in Australia.”
Another word or two and I could have take your above mentioned statement as a threat.
New editors coming online
Date: December 21, 2022 Author: Editor, cairnsnews
Cairns News would like to advise we have two new editors who have agreed to assist with publishing and research. Both are former journalists from MSM who have already contributed to CN from time to time.
I have never worked for MSM.
My origins have nothing to do with MSM or any other shonky corporations.
Suppose I may now be on a list.
To Editor:
Thanks for your reply, much appreciated.
About time, now we may get somewhere, using common sense and taking into consideration that others may have different opinions that may be of value, instead of dismissing outright what does not suit your narratives. Even a simpleton may have valid ideas, opinions, items of interest. I will listen to/ consider what others have to say without putting them down in an arrogant, I have the only solution attitude.
You said: ” you Ron won’t lead a revolution”
I have indicated on CN that I am not after a revolution especially a violent revolution, and am not after any individual (a saviour) to lead a revolution.
I have many times stated that the Communities should provide their own representation (reps) no individual leader, no specific hero, no political leader, no political parties with a “leader” – no revolution.
You said: ” we have to stop this UN/WEF terror assault best we can”
How’s that been going, especially over the last five years?
One step forward, two steps back.
You said: “your forsaken comments”
Really, you may need to do more research, there are literally many thousands of very intelligent professionals, experts in their fields, amateur and skilled researchers, who have been providing information including “forsaken information” for decades. Information that is of real value, not just unbiased false hope.
You said: ” We know the origins of some commenters because we have some of the best IT volunteers in Australia”
Sounds like an intelligence network, I better watch myself. Especially as I have been a whistleblower in the past.
You said: “Most smart people ignore them. Ed”
Obviously I am not one of the “smart people” just a unbiased researcher.
I said: “Yep, how to fight the rotten systems, especially the corporate political systems – support (contract with) the corporations, the longer we support their systems the more legitimate they become.”
I believe that the Australian Communities should be running Australia, not the corporate politicians.
I said: “The corporations allow a small number of independents – to give (false) hope to the sheeple. It is a thoroughly rigged game, but the majority still play the game.”
False hope, that is what holds us back from doing anything of value.
Just my “forsaken comments” “smart people ignore them”
Editor, cairnsnews said – “… At least we are attempting to hold them back because you Ron won’t lead a revolution and nor will Bosi…”
But you DO understand that a bona-fide revolution is literally the ONLY way we’re gonna get these baby-eating bastards off our backs, right? They started this war, but if we don’t finish it, we’re finished.
And Editor, cairnsnews said – “… In the meantime we have to stop this UN/WEF terror assault best we can…”
That’s right, Dude, any little thing that throws sand in their gears is a step in the right direction, while we plod that slow tortuous tedious exquisitely frustrating road to enough people eventually waking up and coming together with the single-minded purpose to string every last one of these low-life Treasonous sold-out paid-off mass-murdering Globalist sycophantic mongrels up to lamp posts.
But all nice and legal-like, and ONLY in the best POSSIBLE taste.
And I’ll be buggered if Editor, cairnsnews didn’t say – “… We have many more good years because nobody else in Australia as held the line for as long as we have…”
Chef’s parents would say about three fiddy, but Martin Armstrong says eight more years.
Yer Ron like Bosi pushing no voting, his actions will simply let Albanese and the Greens keep going with their terror campaign against Aussies. At least we are attempting to hold them back because you Ron won’t lead a revolution and nor will Bosi. In the meantime we have to stop this UN/WEF terror assault best we can. We have many more good years because nobody else in Australia as held the line for as long as we have. Cairns News is right across the world and your forsaken comments Ron have been read in at least 100 countries. We know the origins of some commenters because we have some of the best IT volunteers in Australia. Most smart people ignore them. Ed
To Editor:
Time to give up on Cairns News (CN) far too many up themselves, arrogant, abusive, know it all, nut jobs. Who in fact support the corrupted systems, because of their supposed superior knowledge and their, my way or the highway nut job attitudes.
Those poor excuses for Australians are certainly helping – helping the grubs who are enslaving, harming and killing us. They are part of the problems, they will never be part of any solutions.
The minority who are the opposite and have to put up with the drop kicks, keep up the good work.
Shame, CN had many good years, with “mainly” very good articles/posts and comments and discussions.
Have a nice day!
The “do not vote” controlled opposition contingent probably volunteers for the ALP.
You mugs may be happy to own nothing but I’m not sure how you will like the free compulsory injections.
Wake up Australia. Don’t consent to their fraud. If you are so concerned about being fined for not voting, rock up at the polling booth and produce a letter saying Well I turned up but there are no Lawful Candidates. Ask the head polling booth employee to prove they are lawful. They can’t. booth Our Constitution makes no provision for Political parties. Nor does theres. Unlawful in both constitutions. This year the number of people who did not vote will be at an all time record. telling them we do not consent…decline the offer.

“The only alternative right now is to keep good independents in the parliament and try to get some new ones elected.”
Only one alternative?
I suggest there are many, but even many of the supposed awake thinkers commenting on Cairns News, appear to be lost for real of value ideas.
Plenty of comments about running down valid comments from others, plenty of comments about demigod heroes and other assorted saviours. Plenty of quoted info about past and present history that may be true, but also should be challenged due to brainwashing, hidden history, media lies, etc, etc.
Alternatives, how about Communities all across Australia, get together to provide their own representation for local, state, and federal Governments. But not use the present system of Governments, instead, keep what is useful and the people that are useful from the present systems (only) until systems that suit the wishes of the Communities are put in place?
Can it be done?
Communities already provide many and varied types of organizations within/for Communities, such as, Sports Teams, Bingo Clubs, Pubs, Bikies/Bikers, Freemasons, etc, etc, etc. Some organizations you may agree with some you may not. But they are in the Communities, some effort has been made to put them in place in the Communities. But we can’t put in place in all Communities organizations for the specific purpose of taking back our Country and providing safe and healthy Communities.
I know that some Australians have already made the effort to fix the mess we are in by way of limited Community involvement, and good on them for their efforts.
But the vast majority of Australians appear to be stuck in the just bitch and complain and knock those who are making a real effort mode, or they just leave it up to “others” and the supposed saviours to save the day.
Giving out info is needed, but eventually action is needed. No action, the info can be ignored, why? Because people see no results from all of the brilliant info.
Only one alternative?
How come a privately owned foreign corporation that the AEC is can put aside the court legal system and issue fines itself? What is there then to stop Coles and Woolworths doing the same thing?
Australian Electoral Commission
Date Thursday, 16 February, 2017
Summary
The role of the Australian Electoral Commission is to deliver the franchise: that is, an Australian citizen’s right to vote, as established by the Commonwealth Electoral Act 1918. The AEC is responsible for conducting federal elections and referendums and maintaining the Commonwealth electoral roll.
AEC Key Outcome: Maintain an impartial and independent electoral system for eligible voters through active electoral roll management, efficient delivery of polling services and targeted education and public awareness programs……………….
https://link.fsdf.org.au/usecase-requirement/australian-electoral-commission
We have a right to vote, now that implies to me that we have a right not to vote.
dianedraytonbuckland said – “… no one has any answers or the power to defeat the tyrannical corrupt monsters that have hijacked our country and the entire world…”
Bosi’s lot are pushing an Election Boycott, on the premise that if over half of eligible Australians simply don’t vote, then the elections aren’t valid. A tenuous proposition IMO, but if nothing else, that might send a message and help to wake more people up. In any case, it can’t make anything worse than it already is.
Plus he’s hinted at other action directed at the so-called Governor General, who given irregularities in the behaviour of the fake corporate “government” is obliged by the original Constitution to dissolve parliament and set in plce the processes for free and fair elections.
If she fails to comply with her duties, then the GG is guilty of Treason along with all the rest.
Then what?
For better or worse, we’re likely in for a frustrating few years ahead now where the general population slowly iterates toward the collective realisation that we’re under a foreign tyranny and have been for decades, and then a few more years before we all converge on the common determination to drag every last one of these bastards out into the streets and string them up.
And let’s not forget whatever other mischief and mayhem that these mongrels might definitely be scheming up, not to mention the small matter of a major war or two between now and then.
A slow and tedious process to be sure, but them’s the facts. No quick and easy solutions, barring some miracle where every last baby-eating bastard decides to climb a tall building one sunny weekend and jump off.
In the mean time, anything anyone can do to throw sand in their gears will ultimately be helping the cause of freedom. Rome wasn’t built in a day, the Dark Ages lasted about 500 years, and this supranational corporate tyranny has been growing for many decades now, so we might need a little while yet to properly cut it all out and burn it off.
I will not be giving my consent to Freemason puppets. Boycott the ballot.
pat said – If you’re still confident that we can “vote” sufficient “good” people in to make a real difference, then go to town!
——–
NO PAT As I’ve said the entire system is infested / corrupted/ hijacked and needs to be pulled down – but how ? no one has any answers or the power to defeat the tyrannical corrupt monsters that have hijacked our country and the entire world.
But everyone is waiting to hear from those who have all the answers to defeat this so far unbeatable global monster.
Diane Drayton Buckland said – “… Those 4 million people who didn’t vote last election could have voted for the good guys such as Rennick Katters Roberts UAP et al. In a show of strength but they didn’t…”
And yet, when Bosi and friends ran for election, their polling station recorded ZERO “votes” for them – even though that’s where they “voted”.
If you’re still confident that we can “vote” sufficient “good” people in to make a real difference, then go to town! But the AEC “counts” the “votes”, not us, just keep that in mind. That would be the foreign-owned CORPORATE AEC, the utterly sold-out and corrupt racketeering AEC, just so we’re clear.
And we’re not on their executive board, we’re not even shareholders and have no corporate “voting” rights, the only power we have with the foreign-owned corporation which TRADES as the AEC is to CONTRACT with them through our “vote” to submit to the CORPORATE POLICIES of the foreign-owned CORPORATION which masquerades as our “government”.
And just BTW, we are neither management nor shareholders and have NO POWER over the CORPORATE POLICIES marketed as the “legislation” and “laws” of our foreign-owned fake corporate “government”, which we have CONTRACTED to obey by virtue of our election “votes”. This truth is BLATANTLY apparent with all the BS totalitarian schemes RAMMED into “law” over and over and over again by our fake corporate “government” with ZERO consultation or consent of the Australian people, and even in the face of widespread public opposition and protest – because they’re a CORPORATION, they don’t NEED our agreement, nor do they give a rat’s arse. Anyone who hasn’t noticed that just hasn’t been watching.
That’s maybe why so many people no longer waste their time and effort “voting” in an utterly rigged periodic election ritual which has no useful purpose beyond securing our implied consent for the foreign-owned CORPORATE dictatorship of our country. That CORPORATION answers to it’s foreign shareholders and executive board, not us, and the track record over DECADES makes that patently apparent.
Here’s an instructive thought – what would happen if NO-ONE turned up to vote on election day?
Answer – all the mainstream media would report the AEC’s figures with detailed charts and graphs showing that Lurch won in a LANDSLIDE! They’d probably even hire a rent-a-crowd to get some news footage of the all the “voters” turning out at the polling stations.
And let’s take the opposite slant, what if EVERYONE got out and voted ONLY for one “minor” party and NO OTHER candidates from ANY other party?
Answer – all the mainstream media would report the AEC’s figures with detailed charts and graphs showing that Lurch won in a LANDSLIDE! And they’d manufacture whatever news coverage was necessary to support that narrative.
Because that’s how it works. The AEC “counts” the “votes”. That’s how it’s ALWAYS worked. We “vote” and the AEC rolls out the predetermined corporate “result”, and never the twain shall meet. And a very well-oiled and successful system of perpetual foreign corporate domination it has proven to be.
But it’s a free world, so adults should be taking responsibility for their own informed decisions. It’s not hard to see how all of this thoroughly entrenched institutionalised fraudulent corporate nonsense is going to take around another eight years to finally converge to some sort of genuine revolutionary inflection point. Very sad to know, there will very likely be much more pain and gnashing of teeth before then, as we keep cluelessly cranking that same old rickety handle and strangely just getting more of the same, only progressively worse.
Martin Armstrong has been saying for some time now that governments will be overthrown across the world around 2032. Can’t happen soon enough.
Those 4 million people who didn’t vote last election could have voted for the good guys such as Rennick Katters Roberts UAP et al. In a show of strength but they didn’t…., and in fighting has been destructive…they have to unite to win because the other 23 Million whatever it is are going out to vote. Getting decent ones in there can kill off preferential voting and start cleaning the festering ulcer of filth that is the entire political system. Just Saying…….
Key quote by the author – “… The only alternative right now is to keep good independents in the parliament and try to get some new ones elected…”
All you possibility thinkers out there, perhaps consider all the parameters and the boundary conditions which apply to this paricular puzzle.
The only alternative? Is that true?
A growing number of people are questioning the logic of contracting with a bunch of foreign-owned corporations by signing consent for their “governance”, as if this is some sort of legally binding civic obligation. Corporations, folks, masquerading as our fake “government”, and getting your consent through your “vote” which just BTW they don’t even “count”, the AEC determines the “count”, not us.
Alternatives? I suppose our alternatives are defined by whether we choose to play THEIR game by THEIR rules, or not. We always have that positively TERRIFYING option of just not playing.
Just BTW, folks, how many of us realise that in the LAST so-called “Federal election”, over 4 MILLION Australians chose NOT to “vote”, they chose NOT to play THEIR game by THEIR rules.
Did you know that?
How many will be abstaining from this BS foreign corporate submission ritual THIS time around?
Not advice, folks, we’re not your mother. Just a suggestion to think for yourself and make your own informed decisions.
Commenter Ron
There is a very clear difference between ministers who are sworn to serve the Governor General, and senators who are still at liberty to serve the people of the state they represent. Your problem is you just don’t know how lucky you are. You are IN the system up to your eyeballs, it is a matter of staying afloat. Maybe you’re in a state of despair but that doesn’t excuse your position. In fact, in terms of power politics etc. things have not changed much for hundreds of years. Australia seems to have been previously overlooked by the bluebloods who run these extreme far-left projects that end up n totalitarian dictatorship and mass death. Laying down and dying in the face of it all is nothing you should be proud of. People like Rennick, Roberts and here in WA we have my favourite newcomer Madison King, who are prepared to do all the work which so easily defeats you. You don’t have to become a “positive thinker”, you just have to show some spirit or else shut up.
Imagine if they were all like Buttler, a half psychotic weirdo whose plans are probably straight from one of Yuval Harari’s “Useless Eater” seminars. God knows how people here voted for the hyena Cook and God knows how the croweaters voted for Buttler but I hope they don’t do it again. We need the good independent ( real not fake teal independent ) senators to outnumber the sold out party running dogs and if and when that happens we’ll see what the next steps are. Nothing will happen by magic and there will be every kind of subterfuge along the way. The ones who really need to wake up are cops and military. Public servants are totally bought out and unsalvageable, now they are even going to be monitored by Gates’ ms_CoPilot365 every micro-second, purchased by Elbow this time last year. Everything is turning to shit and your answer, to give up and do nothing, may be right for you if you are suicidal. Otherwise, snap out of it.

To Editor:
Yep, how to fight the rotten systems, especially the corporate political systems – support (contract with) the corporations, the longer we support their systems the more legitimate they become.
Who runs the electoral systems?
Who produces the end results?
Independents, knowing that all levels of politics/ governments are private corporations, are OK with working for those corporations; to me that means that the independents are no different to the main players.
The corporations allow a small number of independents – to give (false) hope to the sheeple. It is a thoroughly rigged game, but the majority still play the game. The game that enslaves, harms and kills.
Maybe, anybody who supports the rotten systems (contracts with them) as in voting for anybody who will work for (within) the rotten systems, should not be complaining about the systems.
“We” contract with corporations, that is how they operate. Voting for the corporations (their reps) makes it all legit.
“We” ask for the rotten corporations to run our local state and federal governments. Hmmmmm really?
We do not have any hope of success, sorry, any real, lasting of value success; if we keep our heads down following the dictates, mandates, and the corporate rules/legislation, of the corrupted systems.
The last five years have not been a wake up call for the vast majority, maybe the brainwashing has been an enormous success?
Credit where it is due – the corporations planned well, carried out the plans with precision, are still in near complete control, and still have many more plans to implement. I know, because they have told us, in great detail, what their present and future plans are.
Zombies? We are the zombies.
Reality, can be very sad.
