SENATOR Gerard Rennick, who is standing for Senate re-election with the People First Party, has called on the federal government to find out exactly where Australia’s gold is located.
Senator Rennick is asking the question after he was told in Budget Estimates committees that the Bank of England holds fake gold bars with duplicate serial numbers “and does nothing about it”.
Cairns News checked the Reserve Bank of Australia’s website on Australia’s gold holdings and found the official statements somewhat confusing. Readers with some experience in government economic jargon are invited to give their “interpretation”.
The website states: “As part of Australia’s official reserve assets, the Reserve Bank holds an amount of gold. Including gold that is on loan, the RBA’s holdings amount to 80 tonnes, with the full value of these holdings recorded as an asset on the RBA’s balance sheet.”
So Australia has 80 tonnes of gold, the spot price of which is currently around US2900 a troy ounce, which translates into USD7,458,800,000 or AUD11,820,706,240.00. So our reserve assets are supposedly worth about $11.8 billion – not a huge amount by today’s inflated standards.
The RBA continues: “To align the RBA’s reporting methodology with the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF’s) guidelines, since 2015 any gold that has been lent by the RBA is recorded as a forward inflow of foreign currency in the official reserves data and excluded from the RBA’s physical gold holdings.
“Similarly, any gold that the RBA has borrowed is excluded from the RBA’s physical gold holdings in the official reserves data.”
So the RBA says it has 80 tonnes of gold holdings including gold that is on loan, but the gold on loan is excluded from the RBA’s physical gold holdings. So how much gold is on loan? We don’t see the answer to that anywhere, unless we missed it.
Physical gold for delivery at the London Bullion Market Association is currently reported to be delayed by four to eight weeks, which technically puts the LMBA in default. The normal delivery time is one week.
Meanwhile Senator Rennick has accused the Federal Government of wilful ignorance on how much gold Australia actually possesses. He says it’s also been admitted by the RBA that the Bank of England holds fake gold bars but for what purpose is not stated.
“Both sides of politics are equally guilty of wilful ignorance about the status of Australia’s reserves,” he said. The senator says he started the People First Party due to the abuses of power and wasteage of taxpayers’ money by both sides of politics.
“No wonder that the value of the Australian dollar has been going down badly for months, due to this uncertainty.
“Having good reserves of gold held within Australia is a commonsense idea that deserves democratic consultation, and not to be swept under the carpet by both sides of politics,” he said.

My best source, Joe Bogan, Anna von Reitz, says that the national credit must be taken into account too, so if you credit the hundreds of billions worth of our resources that go OS every year we should be massively in credit. And the debt is corporate government debt, not ours. And as for the debt these governments-and especially the Victorian government-rack up, the drum from Anna is that when you vote you agree to underwrite the debts of whichever government you are voting for. That is a very plausible notion, as governments are immune from accountability for the debts they rack up, aren’t they.
We don’t even know if the gold theoretically belongs to Australia or the RBA INC. but let’s say it belongs to Australia, the smart thing to do would be to cancel some debt with it, then we can stop worrying about storage. Reporting on the Summit’s outcome, leading strategic advisor, Michael Saylor, made the following tweet.
‘Today President Donald J. Trump signed an Executive Order to establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. With a fixed supply of 21 million coins, there is a strategic advantage to being among the first nations to create a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.’
Trump’s ‘crypto-czar,’ David Sacks summed up the post-Summit meeting as such.
‘If the Government had held its Bitcoin [it sold 195,000 BTC for $366 million some years ago], – it would be worth $17 billion today. The U.S. Government will buy and HODL Bitcoin now 👏.’
But the most insightful press release came from Trump’s pioneering Bitcoin advocate, Senator Cynthia Lummis, who explained to CNBC News, – that the Government wouldn’t have to spend any new dollars to acquire the SBR, nor use taxpayer money. Instead, they would sell existing assets from the twelve Federal Reserve Banks, – ‘including gold certificates, that will be converted to their current spot gold value [as they are still held at their 1970’s book value], sold, and converted into Bitcoin. That way, we [U.S. Government] wouldn’t have to use any new dollars.’
So there you have it, the U.S. Government is going to convert FED gold reserves into digital gold, – the White House has officially stated that BTC is digital gold, – boom!
All arms of Government have 30 days to transfer Bitcoin to the Treasury to form the SBR.
So the World is on notice that BTC is a State strategic asset, – seven more dominoes are expected to fall, – the U.S. SBR is not just about the U.S., as it means every nation that competes with the U.S. is now in.
Thankfully the snouts to ground 🐽were too stupid to join the dots together of Trump’s monthly press releases, – the economic abattoir door has just slammed shut, – boom!
Aus has 20% of world reserves in ground. Aus exported 250 tons in 2021 and will export 390 tons this year. Aus gov took gold royalties of $2.5B over 10 years, most of which was claimed back thanks to clever accounting tricks embedded in the tax system.
IOW, Aus gets virtually $0 for its gold, year in, year out.
A portion of Aus oil reserves sits in tanks in the USA.
How generous of them to hold it for us, great idea.

Not so long ago the news was that there was a lot of movement from England to US, ships loaded with gold. My understanding is, Fort Knox was empty so it had to be reloaded before Trump admin. takes control. I think most gold was stolen during Obama, they know whats cooking . The price of gold is artificially low, according to some economists, real value is 40 grand or higher. This proves that we live in fake reality created for us.

If as alleged?, American gold reserves are meant to back the U.S. dollar, then why should there be any gold in Fort Knox? – there should not!
According to official data, the U.S. dollar is now worth ~1-2% of its original value, although in actuality it went to zero in ~2021, which is why people have to take on debt to finance their everyday living costs. So as the dollar has reached its anticipated end value of zero, then of course, its gold backing should reflect this, – meaning zero gold backing.
It is only proportionate, that a gold backed currency now devalued to zero, should have a backing of zero gold.
It is patently obvious, that the snouts to ground are too stupid to recognise the obviousness of this underlying economic reality.
With the dollar now valued at zero, if there was any gold in Fort Knox, this would mean that America’s currency had reverted to gold, as in a return to Constitutional Money, which it has not. So zero gold holdings are proportionately correct.
Due to the Ozzie dollar’s similar progress in devaluation, it is only correct to hold gold reserves of the same value, which shouldn’t be too much.
This is why today’s White House Summit could be very interesting for future international currencies.
I’ve deducted from various comments and readings that most gold from Western Nations was removed to the Vatican and was in a tunnel that went from there to Jerusalem.
President Trump and his previous good military found it, removed it in 640 planeloads, and executed that original version of the Pope, and redistributed it to the countries it was taken from. And some is still in that hollow mountain.
