United Australia Party Senator Ralph Babet today introduced a Bill to give the Australian people the opportunity enshrine freedom of speech in the Australian Constitution, warning that free expression is under increasing threat.
The Constitution Alteration (Right to Free Speech) 2025 seeks to insert a new Chapter IIIA and section 80A into the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act 1900, ensuring that no law—state or federal—can limit freedom of speech, including freedom of the press and other media.
“This Bill is urgently needed to protect a fundamental right that Australians assume they already have,” Senator Babet said.
“But that assumption is dangerously misplaced. The right to say what we think has been steadily eroded, with laws passed at both state and federal levels restricting speech rather than safeguarding it.”
Senator Babet said Australians were increasingly fearful of expressing opinions openly, citing the risk of public scrutiny and legal repercussions for views that challenge prevailing ideologies.
“It is a brave person who, in today’s climate, publicly states that men cannot become women. Is this really the kind of country we want—where expressing biological truths can lead to interrogation by tribunals and potentially jail time?” he said.
Comparing the proposed alteration to the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, Senator Babet said the reform would align with Australians’ belief in a “fair go” and the right to voice opinions without fear of retribution.
“Our Constitution already protects religious freedom under Section 116—why not free speech? Without the ability to express our thoughts, freedom itself is undermined,” he said.
“This Bill will give Australians the power to vote in a referendum and decide for themselves how important freedom of speech truly is. I believe they will vote overwhelmingly in favour, because Australians, despite their differences, believe in the right to speak freely.”
Senator Babet urged his colleagues in the Senate to support the Bill, stating: “There shouldn’t be a single Senator who opposes free speech or who tells their constituents they want to make it harder for them to express their views. We are here to defend freedoms, not to restrict them.”

This system was not dumped on the people overnight, it goes back to at least 1870, it was crept in many generations ago, slavery of the people slowly by deceit, it is why it is hard for us to get our head around it all, though they did it and it is our responsibility to fix it, not whine and complain about it to the criminals.
Politicians and lawyers just love to complicate things. It makes them indispensable in the whole spectrum of daily life, and just happens to provide them a hell of a lot of money and power as well!
Firstly, why does every man and his dog take such pains to avoid the godly basis of our nation?
Why is there such a continual cacophony, denouncing everything ‘religious,’ as if it was the enemy of all good, when it is absolutely our “Protestant Reformed Religion established by law in the United Kingdom” (Coronation Oath), that gave us all the wonderful liberties and systems of order we have enjoyed, and still, legally, undergirds them?
Why does every comment on the basis of our law go back to Magana Carta (1215), stop, and then skip to ancient Greece (which is irrelevant to the United Kingdom), and IGNORE Alfred The Great (849-901, who first gave us God’s Law (Yes, the Ten Commandments and other Scriptures!) as our Foundation?
There are very good reasons for this (or I should say, “evil reasons!”) – the moment our parliament acknowledges the fact that our Foundation (constitutionally) is still the Word of God (Authorised English Bible), is the moment the rebellious, ungodly, and treasonous parliament gives up its falsely pretended power, and lays it at the feet of The Lord Jesus Christ! (Which is where sovereignty and authority always have been anyhow!)
Secondly, if the Law of God still is the basis of our Law and our Constitution, (which nobody has dared to deny – they merely ignore it and hope everyone forgets!), why the need to change the Constitution and improve on what we already have???
The Ninth Commandment (Exodus 20:16), which states, “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour,” covers completely every aspect of ‘Freedom of Speech’ – i.e. under God’s Law, we are free to say anything about our neighbour so long as it is true.
BUT there is one problem with this – and it is the one problem that is bringing the whole nation undone – NOBODY wants to admit that we are established (nationally) and still stand, under God’s Law, or that we are subject to Him, which is what is meant by,
“WHEREAS the people of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania, humbly relying on the blessing of Almighty God, have agreed to unite in one indissoluble Federal Commonwealth under the Crown of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, and under the Constitution hereby established.”

Your inalienable rights are yours, no one person, no group of people has the right nor power to take them away. This is what it means to be ‘Sovereign’…’To be a ‘citizen’ is to be a tax paying slave/chattel of the government (bankers, that is who they work for)…Hence the oxymoron ‘sovereign citizen’ the media and government liars throw around.

How many people have been gaoled for victimless crimes?
