As we head into 2025, it appears that we are witnessing the beginning of the end of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
In the U.S, and across the western world, the pushback against corporate and bureaucratic wokeness has been developing for some time. As demonstrated by President Donald Trump’s decisive election win.
Considering this result, a number of major corporate entities are quietly dialing back their DEI programs and initiatives.
I don’t need to tell you that the curse of DEI is alive and well in Australia and I have pressed many of our government agencies and departments on the issue of why they adopt these programs.
Last year I asked ASIO why they have a DEI program.
My hope is that the Trump effect will have an impact on the DEI conversation in Australia, and that one day we will return to simply hiring the best person for the job and rewarding people for the output they produce rather than for their gender, sexuality, or ethnicity.
Hopefully, we will see more expressions of good sense in the year ahead. The DEI narrative has divided people and served to justify entitlement and self-righteousness for too long, and people have simply had enough.
I still remember when all the “progressives” apparently wanted was “tolerance”. And now we’ve seen, quite clearly, that that was never true.

It may interest readers to know that the Serpent in the Garden of Eden wasn’t actually a snake, although it had a long worm-like body, it was translucent and had teensy weensy stubby little arms and legs, complete with adorable little hands and feet.
And it was way way smarter than most of the Useless Eaters that now pass for Humanity, though it hardly needed to exercise those smarts in an idyllic setting like Eden.
And just BTW, FWIW, it wasn’t actually an apple tree, it was a fig tree of a variety that still exists in mangrove swamps even today.

In my former working life prior to coming to a crossroad where I had to choose between participating in an untested experimental injection trial, or walk away…and before I walked away, I was very tempted to play the alphabet ‘game’ just to see how far I could push it.
I saw one colleague climb the ranks very quickly because her children were boys that looked like girls. I saw colleagues all of ‘one mind’ get the new highly paid job descriptions.
It was now okay to look like someone who had come off the street with pink hair than to look like a professional.

I was going to get a government job by putting on a wig and saying I was a lady, if they didn’t give me a job I would report them to the officer and try for another job saying I identify as aboriginal. I believe the only remaining jobs by Xmas will be government jobs.
Isn’t it amazing that all the modern policies that we complain about are the product of our secular evolutionary society which has cast Jesus Christ aside. And commenters expect things to be fixed by those with the same view.

You’re amazingly spot on, so astute. That’s where its at .. against centuries of intellect developing functional civilisation, we have absurd dictates for abitrary standards/boundaries over selection criteria for personnel managing entire survival systems.

Addendum, folks…
…OR we could require the selection of government employees to satisfy the full potential spectrum of boob sizes according to a arbitrarily stipulated distribution, perhaps a linear model but more likely a theoretical Bell Curve fit.
At least that would make the employment pool rahter more gender-neutral, just look at those man-boobs on creepy Bill, although we might assume that the gender ratio would become skewed at the upper and lower extremes.
And there’d be plenty of opportunity for casual observers to visually confirm strict adherance to the policy, although there’d still be opportunities for cosmetic surgeries and prosthetic padding to circumvent the statistically mandated distribution.
But at the end of the day we could all sleep at night safe in the knowledge that all them thar government boobies are about as random and assorted as any statistical sampling algorithm could possibly hope for.

Hey folks, let’s try to compare the BS diversity ideology with something broadly conceptually analogous, just to try to get a feel for its real impact on the machinery of governance.
How about if we required all government departments to hire staff with willies sized across the entire spectrum of biologic possibilities, just because, well, you know, just because.
Of course, we’d still be hiring on the basis of merit and the ability of each employee to do their assigned job to the full extent of their responsibilities, but they’d also be filtered through a statistical quota for the size of their willies.
Now, at first glance, you can see that just the natural variability would go a long way (no pun intended) to satisfying this entirely arbitrary and nonsensical imposition on the selection process.
But then again, this would artifically limit the number of black men (because you know what they say) on the government payroll, not to mention the complete exclusion of all women. Didn’t see that one coming, did you?
And just BTW, if you were paying attention, you’d also realise that there’d have to be at least one or two stallions in each government agency, maybe just Shetland Ponies or maybe a sprinkling of Shire horses, known for their gentle disposition and incredible strength, though not too handy with strategic planning or managing complicated spreadsheets.
What a funny old workforce we’d have, folks, keeping us all safe and managing the country to the best of their ability while reassuring us that the distribution of willie sizes among Australian government workers across all government departments is a statistically perfect Bell Curve fit.
You’d have to agree, that would be a throbbingly good improvement over what we have now.
