Wikipedia describes William Scott Ritter Jr. as “an American author, former United States Marine Corps intelligence officer, former United Nations Special Commission weapons inspector and convicted sex offender. Ritter served as a junior military analyst during Operation Desert Storm. He then served as a member of the UNSCOM overseeing the disarmament of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq from 1991 to 1998, from which he resigned in protest.”
In recent times Ritter has become an outspoken opponent of US foreign policy, especially the war in Ukraine. Having served in the midst of the Bush administration’s bogus War on Terror following the September 11, 2001 false flag terrorist attack on New York and Washington, Ritter would have seen the worst of US military-industrial complex and high-level Anglo-American power plays.
His protest resignation from his UNSCOM role may well be related to his child sex conviction, although we do not yet know the full and factual details of that episode. What we do know is that Ritter is well qualified and well connected and able to make an informed estimation of what is going on in the Middle East right now.
The picture Ritter builds is deeply worrying because of the wider economic implications that involve a highly likely cutting off of the oil supply and the catastrophic flow-on from that.
