Russian President Vladimir Putin puts his very long case to prove his country's non-complicity in starting the war with Ukraine.
Part of CNN’s “interview” with Zelensky, which seemed more like a scene from a heavy romance movie.

By TONY MOBILIFONITIS
THE only possible criticism of Tucker Carlson’s momentus interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin is that for many people, it was predictable that Putin would explain in detail how his country was provoked into the war with the NATO proxy Ukraine.

A key point that emerged was the subtle torpedoeing by UK PM Boris Johnson in March 2022 (apparently on behalf of the US-UK-NATO deep state) of an extensively negotiated peace treaty drawn up in Istanbul between Ukraine and Russia.

“We have never refused… and the fact that they obeyed the demand or persuasion of Mr Johnson, the former prime minister of Great Britain, seems ridiculous and very sad to me,” Putin said.

“Because as Mr (David) Arahamiya (head of the Ukrainian delegation) put it, we could have stopped those hostilities with war a year and a half ago already. But the British persuaded us and we refused this. Where is Mr Johnson now? And the war continues.”

Carlson’s interview, while predictably condemned by the London-Washington-Brussels establishment, should help to dissipate that deep state narrative faithfully bleated out by an infantile mainstream media is that Vladimir is bad. Yes, “Vlad is bad but we’re the good guys!”. So goes the narrative designed for a dumbed down populace for whom “news” is more likely Taylor Swift’s latest concert outfit.

This is the populace that has been repeatedly fed footage of the little green-shirted man named Zelensky prancing around the the world stage looking for billion-dollar hand-outs. But the odd million here and there also helps, especially with his overseas real estate investments. What is avoided is reference to Zelensky’s former antics of playing the piano with his penis.

Zelensky has also been cultivated by the western media, some would say even seduced as one interview with a CNN reporter seemed to reveal in slow motion. There were also reports that Zelensky had put Carlson on his kill list while in the US, desperate Democrat lawfare lunatics were talking about having him charged with espionage or treason.

There is no doubt that Putin is an autocrat who treats enemies harshly or even eliminates them, at least as we have been led to believe. But moral comparisons with the west now fade into insignificance, given the nightmarish nature of the so-called “global liberal order” which not only seeks to herd entire populations into a system of digital slavery but also carried out a program of global mass medication with experimental and lethal gene therapy.

Some mainstream media including NBC, The Guardian and the London Times and Sunday Times, did report reasonably on the interview. CNN’s globalist mouthpiece Christiane Amanpour tried to rubbish it as did our homegrown neoconservative Sky News princess Sharri Markson, even before it aired. We suspect the interview went right over Ms Markson’s pretty little head.

Sadly, much of the targeted populace don’t realise that Ukraine was formerly part of the Soviet Union. Not only that, as explained by Putin, the Ukraine area has historic ties with Tsarist Russia going back centuries before the 1917 revolution, while the word Ukrainian itself actually refers to people who live on the edges of a state territory.

Putin spoke at length on Russian history going back to the 9th Century went on to explain that the Orthodox faith was at the centre of what culturally binds Ukrainians and Russians, and this was why the Zelensky regime was doing its best to dismantle the Orthodox church in Ukraine.

During the 2 hours 15 minutes interview Putin offered Carlson copies of historical Russian documents showing the historic interactions between the Ukrainians and the Russian Tsars. The Ukraine connections go back to at least 1654 when the Tsar and land owners decided to include parts of old Russians lands with the Moscow territory.

An 11-year war with Poland, which sought to claim some Ukrainian land, followed this until the Andrusovo Treaty, also called the Eternal Peace Treaty, was signed between the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and Imperial Russia. Under Catherine the Great, Russia subsequently regained all the territory it had lost.

Putin said the said the “Ukrainianisation” process started just before WW1, with the idea that there was a special ethnic group of Ukrainians. After the 1917 Revolution the Bolsheviks tried to restore statehood, but war ensued, and a large area of Ukraine was given back to Poland.

He went on to explain the deals Hitler did with Poland and how Poland participated with Germany to divide Czechoslovakia, but turned out to be “uncompromising”. They received as compensation lands that were part of Germany but were previously Polish.

Putin said the Bolsheviks started building the Ukraine Soviet republic in 1922. Stalin insisted the republics be autonomous entities and “for some unexplicable reason Lenin said they should be able to withdraw from the Republic”, so Ukraine became an entity. Carlson however, did not raise the disastrous Ukraine famine induced by Stalin’s land confiscation.

Putin went on to explain the 1991 USSR collapse, a time when “Ukraine dragged back all that it was generously given”. He said every 3rd person there had family-friendship ties, common history, common faith, coexistence.

He said post 1991 “the US tricked us” after promising that NATO would not expand. In fact over the years it happened five times. “We said we are bourgeois now like you now with a free market economy,” he recounted. “Yeltsin came to US and said God bless America.”

Putin, interestingly, defended Boris Yeltsin who he said had been deliberately smeared as basically a bufoon and alcoholic who knew nothing. “He knew everything, I assure you,” said Putin.

He also covered Russia’s Orthodox links with Serbia. He said Yeltsin expressed his support for rapproachment with the US, but then the US started bombing Belgrade. When Russia protested that various international conventions were being breached, the US said “everything is outdated”. It was then that Yeltsin was “dragged through the mud”.

Putin went on the recount his cordial meetings with the Bush Senior, Clinton, and Bush Jnr administrations. “At a meeting right here with Clinton I asked him, Bill do you think Russia could join NATO and he said ‘it’s interesting I think so’.” Later over dinner Clinton said he asked his team and the answer was no.”

Putin’s continuing theme was betrayal by the US and the West. He said Russia was building relationships softly and cautiously with the US and the Middle East. But at the same time he had to object to US agencies “building relationships with terrorist groups in Caucuses”. The CIA even admitted it later.

Russia even proposed developing a joint missile system with the US and Europe. Bush junior showed some interest, but again the idea was undermined, despite then Defense Secretary Gates and Secretary of State Rice coming to Moscow to talk.

“Gates and Rice came here to this table … I was foreign minister… and they agreed but with some exceptions. And then they just told us to get lost. Our proposal was declined. Right then I said we will be forced to take counter-measures. We created hypersonic systems and now we’re ahead of everyone and improving them every day.”

Then came the breaking of the promise not to expand NATO towards Russian borders. “They said well its not enshrined on paper so we’ll expand. They did it in five waves.”

Putin also referred to a series of coups run in Ukraine by the US, the first being the so-called Orange Revolution in Kiev in 2004. The US pressured Ukraine to rerun its elections three times (against their own constitution) until the banker and pro-Western candidate Viktor Yushchenko was eventually elected over the sitting, pro-Moscow Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych who had won the legal second runoff, but then faced hyped up accusations of election rigging.

“They ran a coup – three rounds of elections,” said Putin. “This was not even provided for in their constitution.” Putin, however, said Russia accepted the result and Yushchenko visited Moscow and he visited Kiev. “He’s pro-western, so be it. Then Yanokovich came to power again anyway” (in 2010) defeating the then PM Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, a darling of the Western media.

And in 2014 near the end of his term came another coup run by the CIA and US State Department. Yanokovich jailed Tymoshenko, leading to further widespread unrest including an armed uprising in Kiev cheered on and funded by the US.

“This happened with CIA backing,” said Putin. “They changed the government but it was a colossal political mistake. So in 2008 doors of NATO were opened to Ukraine then 2014 there was a coup.” The new Ukrainian administation also launched a war against Donbass and Donesk, whose separatist forces fought back with Russian help.

“How could we not express concern over what was happening. We would be culpable if we were not helping,” he said, again referring to the historic cultural ties between eastern Ukraine and Russia. This was eight years before current conflict.

Putin insisted that initially it was the coup in Ukraine that provoked the conflict. Germany, Poland and France had been guarantors of the Yanokovich peace deal with opposition, the Minsk Agreements, but then abandoned them.

“I was absolutely confident that if we convinced Donbass to return to Ukrainian statehood it would heal. But everyone wanted to resolve it militarily. It was they (the Ukraine administration) who started the war in 2014,” said Putin.

Carlson asked if Russia provoked into Ukraine war. “No-one listened to us,” said Putin. “Ukraine leaders suddenly decided to abandon the Minsk agreement. And in parallel Ukraine was exploited by NATO … and bases set up. Then Ukraine suddenly decided Russians were a non-titular nationality in that area.”

39 thought on “Putin cites Ukraine-Russia history and repeated US-NATO betrayals in Carlson interview”
  1. Putin also set people straight about China as well which has also been the victim of lying propaganda.

If you want to see why the West hates China watch SBS on Demand, Silk Road from Above, and also another doco on there about the Belt and Road.. While the rest of the world is de-industrialising their nations by command of WEF, elites and psychos and spending up big on failed wars – China (and Russia) are surging ahead building economic trade routes to other countries. China has built major high speed trains and railway lines from Russia to Spain and also Ports.

Its sad to see the state of Europe and in particular Germany which was once the the industrial capital of Europe – all practically on their kneed now. And what does Australia manufacture these days?

A new world is emerging – of that there no doubt whatsoever.

  2. Dandy: ” Maybe nothing is as it seems after all?”

The possibility is not to be discounted. lol Given the choice of any number of evils, I reckon I’ll go for the least harmful and the least immediate one.

  3. Yes it’s all massively stitched up by the bloodlines, stitched up almost beyond belief, great moments in history:
Biblical jews and double-agent Moses kicked out of Egypt
Macedonian Ptolemy takes over Egypt then his dynasty loses it
Alexander Helios escapes Rome, presumably to Venice
Constantine invents Catholicism and the fake fall of Rome ensues
The Vatican starts tithing everyone courtesy of Charlemagne
The now Globalist Vatican invents “the Doctrine of Discovery”
Charlemagne’s stomping ground ( Frankfurt ) a new centre of commerce
“Jews” get fitted up with just about anything and everything
Charlemagne’s fortress Zurich is stuffed with gold
Crusades, Knights Templars, Khazarians, Vikings etc.
Suez canal goes into business and Europeans go gangbusters on Asia
Tax havens invented to go along with tax exemptions
The USA is infiltrated and secretly re-colonised
Wars engineered for business and depopulation purposes
Religion destroyed and replaced by patent medicine quackery
… and we’re not finished yet by a long shot.

Did Nostradamus really predict a guy would get shot in the eye ? Doubtful.
Did Guy Fawkes really do a gunpowder plot or did King James make it up ? Cui bono.
Did the Titanic hit an iceberg by mistake ? Nooooooooooo
Tonkin incident, JFK, 9-11, Gaza 2023 official stories ? Noooooooooo
Are the ABC-TV’s lies of omission piled up to the size of Ayers Rock ? Yes

  4. During the interview, Tucker Carlson and President Putin discussed the Neo Nazi cònnection. The Ukraine Azov Battalion, of neo-nazi background, is said to have formed right after the coup against elected pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych. The Protocol no. 15 says the Elders of Zion (or as another Commentator wrote “Priory of Sion”) “tie the knot which binds together all revolutionary and liberal elements”; “the most secret political plots will be known to us and will fall under our guiding hands”.

    Given that, I quote –
“Hostility is secretly encouraged by the Israeli government.
For example, the Israeli government secretly funded and encouraged the growth and activities of the rabidly anti-Jewish terrorist organization, Hamas. Hamas fulfil à two-fold goal: undermining the influence of the secular Palestinian Liberation organization, Fatah (Movement for the National Liberation of Palestine), and creating a hostile Islamic religious opposition to the Jewish State that was affiliated with the surrounding hostile Islamic countries.

“Thanks to Mossad, the Islamists were allowed to reinforce their presence in the occupied territories.

“Hamas acts as provocateurs under control of Mossad. (See The Hamas Attack on Israel’s Not What You Think – October 9, 2023 by Edward Hendrie)

“A close examination of Neo-Nazi hate groups reveals that there are Jews throughout their leadership. The Neo-Nazis act as agent provocateurs in the hands of the controlling Jews in order for the flames of antisemitism.
For example, Frank Collin was the leader of the National Socialist Party of America, an anti-semitic Neo-Nazi group.
Collin created a national furor in 1977 by organising a march in predominantly Jewish Skokie, Illinois, which resulted in a First Amendment case that went all the way to the US Supreme Court. It turns out that Collin was actually Jewish; his real name was Frank Cohen. Before leading the NSPA he had previously been a member of another Neo-Nazi anti-semitic group called the National Socialist White People’s Party (formerly the American Nazi Party). Leonard Holstein was commander of the ANP’s Los Angeles unit. It was discovered that Holstein was a Jew and a sodomite.” (ibid)

In this interview Putin is no fan of the West and I can see why. He has learnt to be very astute and he provides no fawning spectacle for the masses. (imo)

  5. I think a few things don’t add up.

Tucker the kabbalah zionist gets a meeting with Putin (of Jewish heritage from his Mother) and is one of the most powerful leaders in the world.
Powerful because he didn’t buckle at the knees when the rest of the world called him names.

Then 100 million views show an interest?
More like ‘bots’, how would we know?
Even MSM (Fox) put it out there.
If MSM mentions it then they want people to go in a certain direction.

All that aside, what was with Putin removing his watch and putting it on the table, and then some Q message prior saying to ‘watch the watch?’
I don’t follow Q but it came through on someone’s telegram post.

    So Q is Russian now?!

And Tucker Carlson isn’t really who he says he is?
At least according to USA Presidential hopeful Dr Shiva.

    Reference: vashiva. com
“Dr.SHIVA™ LIVE: Tucker and Rogan HATE America, & the “Darkie” Who Invented Email

The only thing I can’t find is evidence of Putin kissing that wailing wall, a symbol of where one’s loyalty truly lies.
I’ve seen him flanked by zionist pharisees at the wall, but no kissing and no little white cap.

This Truman Show is worse than the Truman Show.
Maybe nothing is as it seems after all?

  6. But wait! There’s more inconvenient truth from Carlson’s interviews, this time with Colonel McGregor.

    https://youtu.be/A6qHWxnNiDY

    Tucker Carlson Tonight 2/9/24:
Into the abyss: Colonel Douglas Macgregor tells us why the Ukraine war must end now.

All this, now going “mainstream”, via Carlson, suggests that somebody is keen to wind up the Ukrainian fiasco ASAP and prevent TOTAL Russian victory to avoid embarrassment from the jaws of defeat and failure.

How much $$$money has now disappeared into the maelstrom of “war” in one of the most corrupt countries on the planet? We won’t worry who foots the bill, will we?

  7. It’s a very moderate interview, funny how Hillary really hates it and hates Tucker. The main takeaway for me is not that they broke one deal with Putin over Minsk agreements but that they broke so many and Putin keeps turning the other cheek, now they even have Sweden wanting to pay NATO, the cost of being in NATO is something like adding an extra Medicare Levy. Why do I have to pay Australian Medicare Levy when I don’t want the services, ( if I want a medical intervention I will go to Thailand and pay ). Swedes should be asking their government the same thing, “Why do we have to pay”. Russia has continuity of government, maybe Russians have been immunised against communism. Is NATO just a credit line with the USA, that they will supply weapons as required on credit ?
How do the escaped Ukrainians living in Poland and elsewhere feel about Ukrainian control of the Donbass, if I was them I wouldn’t care. Amazing how the long-dead Kruschev built in this future problem by giving Donbass to his home state. I think Putin skimmed over that aspect.

  8. “over 100 million views in just one day on Carlson’s X account (formerly Twitter) alone”

Hmmm… sounds like a whole bunch of people are interested in information which the MSM whores ban and conceal and consider should be of no interest to anyone.

Carlson providing the information is considered TREASON by the whores. Go figure how much we are snowed by people whose job is to manipulate our truth.

  9. Cheers Ed.

He’s probably got more pressing things to attend to right now.

But I’m sure he’ll have plenty to say when he re-emerges!.

  10. Ed – Any chance of a ‘boots on the ground’ update from Colonel Yuri?

Looks like Russia has started to roll?

    https://www.sott.net/article/488431-Breakthrough-on-all-fronts-in-Ukraine-Russia-running-ahead-of-schedule

Not sure how deep they intend to take this, but tanks with long range fuel tanks may soon be appearing, – meaning deep internal thrusts, a famous Russian speciality, and especially now the frontline is moving beyond the rough eastern terrain into Ukraine’s more typical flat terrain.

This advance is actually rather significant as NATO has just moved its expeditionary force to positions on the east bank of the northern Dnieper near Belarus. The re-positioning is meant to free up Ukrainian troops to help stem the Russian advance. Now that Ukraine has been bled white, NATO is now going public with its intended deployment of its own manpower. Especially, Britain, Poland and Sweden, – many of whom are publicly promoting the idea of conscription.

Could we have an update from tovarich Yuri?

  11. A well written article and perfectly summed up by zzz.

Of course Vlad has to omit Holodomir and Stalin’s intended Red Army invasion of central Europe in summer 1941, etc. But due to modern Russia’s inheritance of the half century year old post-WWII Stalinist version of history, – why expect something other?

If the historical truth were made public, Bam!, there goes the notion of the Great Patriotic War, and with it, – the National glue which binds the Russian people together against external attacks on the Motherland.

Although unlike 1941, – the present assaults are ‘genuinely unprovoked offensives’ by the West.

As with others who understand their history, Putin knows the real history of the circumferent events of WWII, but as a master Statesman, he also realises that certain inconvenient truths and non-factual narratives are presently advantageous, or in verity, – necessary to the survival of modern Russia. This is Statecraft.

If people want authentic WWII history, then its probably best to avoid the historical presentations of Statesmen and accumulate a library by authors who have been ‘imprisoned and tortured’ for the baneful crime of, – que horror!, – writing history books on WWII.

  12. I was hoping for a story on Barnaby pissed in the gutter on the phone to the White Hat’s, but got this news headline instead.

It sounded like they where trying to book him in for Gitmo

The Russians are taking out the Ukraine Nazi infiltrators or otherwise known as the Khazarian mafia

    Is that a bad thing!

  13. Thanks for the link, Julius. Looking at the two peoples who paid the highest price in WW1 and WW2 it would seem the Germans and the Russians top the list by a long shot. TWICE!

Both were and are great European nations with immense potential, as evident in the eventual post Versaille and post WW2 German recovery and Russia’s post communist rehabilitation.

In some circles, the end obviously justifies the means. Leads one to the conclusion that the repeated German and Russian conflicts and the raping and pillaging of Europe are manufactured events on the “divide et impera” principle.

Today’s events and the slow burn which Europe is being subjected to will inevitably lead to more devastation.

As usual, suitable patsies will be found to lay the blame on, far from where it belongs.

The orchestrators will again remain in the shadows as they control our perceptions of their “reality” through their GLOBAL propaganda outlets and agents.

  14. “BUT I have a profound disagreement with his cursory summation of the events leading up to and surrounding
    WWII.”

Indeed, there was a lot he said creating room for the still fake conventional analysis we’ve been fed without disturbing the ugly truth.

One thing he does do obliquely is to point to the fact that “communist” Lenin’s and Stalin’s establishment of “communist republics” and their insistence on republican “autonomy” and “right of secession” was a key “communist” platform for breaking up the Russian population.

Putin might have mentioned that the same divide and conquer principle is still being applied today, except not by the “communists” but by the VERY SAME CROWD which financed and established “communism” for the very same purpose.

Believe it or not in some quarters it even appears to be a publicly proclaimed goal ! Seems WW1 and WW2 didn’t cut it so standby for WW3 in order to satisfy what may well be a rather long standing ambition.

    https://gibraltar-messenger.net/ww3/ukraine-war-chabads-strategy-for-slavic-genocide/

“In a 1994 speech published in the Vologda newspaper Slavyanin, Chabad leader, Menachem Mendel Schneerson outlined his plans for destroying both Ukraine and Russia.

“Slavs, and among them Russians – are the most unbending people in the world. Slavs are unbending as a result of their psychological and intellectual abilities, created by many generations of ancestors. It is impossible to alter these genes. Slav, Russian, can be destroyed, but never conquered. That is why this seed is subject to liquidation, and, at first, a sharp reduction in their numbers.”

“First of all, we will divide the Slavic nations (of 300 million, half of them Russians) into the small countries with weak and severed connections. For this, we will use our old method: Divide and conquer. We will try to pit these countries against each other, and suck them into civil wars for the sake of mutual destruction.”

  15. The first 30 minutes was a wonderful history lesson of ancient and medieval Russia. I completely resonated with this having read (for example) the following collection by Matthew Raphael Johnson:
    • The Third Rome: Holy Russia, Tsarism & Orthodoxy
    • The Russian Populist: The Political Thought of Vladimir Putin
    • The Soviet Experiment: Challenging the Apologists for Communist Tyranny
    • The Ancient Orthodox Tradition in Russian Literature
    • Orthodoxy, Autocracy, Nationality: Lectures on Medieval Russia
I also agree entirely with Putin’s explanation of the recent and current events in Crimea and the Ukraine, BUT I have a profound disagreement with his cursory summation of the events leading up to and surrounding WWII. More on that another time.

  16. The only commenters that I perceive as making sense: Lindesymonds & Joe Bogan.

I may add: Did you not see that even before the interview (week or so) and at the interview, that it is pure mind control for the awakened? (the sleep need not apply).

There were many signals of this before and at the interview. Vlad made some key statements (you shall know them by their fruits) that only a few awakened would pickup on, the statements about Hitler, the jews, coupled with no history of the Bolshevik genocide (Holodomor) which was j3vvish directed with money and key j3vv people and which happened before the WW II and was about to visit Germany.

All of that safely out of the conversation about Russian history, Vlad just called it the “revolution” but had much to explain and make points on about the other Past history of Russia (??).

If it walks like duck and quacks like duck (substitute duck for phyop).

The whole world, the nations, are being played, do I have to spoon-feed people on who is responsible for this? Hint; follow the money and the jewels lovers.

  17. Commenter Ryan
There is even a “fake Trump” now, an evil one who has rallies telling people to get injected. Goes with the fake Hillary ( real one hanged at Gitmo ) and of course the fake Bidens which are possibly the only real fakes in the whole story. Telling a fake Biden is easy, it doesn’t try to sniff young girls’ hair.
As for the story Putin was appointed by Yeltsin I suppose Yeltsin might have put away an entire bottle of Stolly prior to that event. If you were watching Yeltsin back then your impressions might be of considerable interest.

  18. A bit more on “what is Ukraina”
The first vikings were Swedish and their trade route was from Petersburg down to Odessa. Kiev in the north of Ukraina used to be an arsenal, Odessa is somewhat disputed, the western border could be anywhere, the eastern border stops at the Donbass where the people are Russians. The vikings used to haul their boats overland to get from one river to the next. Presumably they got horses from somewhere. They used to trade with the Turks. The whole viking enterprise was built on clench nails ( dead nails ) technology, the precursor to hot rivets.
So I would say Ukraina is basically Kiev and whatever hinterland and downstream territory they can manage to hold on to. It seems forgotten that not long after the disputed 2020 US election, Putin held a referendum in Donbass and the fake news M$M said it was totally rigged and at the same time they said the Biden election was totally fair. Would Arizona vote for Biden ??? Give me a break. But anyway even if elections weren’t rigged the people would still get screwed because of the secret societies. People can’t be saved from their own stoopidity and one place it starts is when their parents get divorced, or in the case of new people these days, it would be grandparents. Then they go to school and learn to sit, beg and roll over.

  19. How inappropriate of Tucker Carlson to provide a forum for the other side’s point of view, contrasting the filth and manipulation emanating from our own Western propaganda machinery! Surely we are not entitled to the other side of what’s going on? lol

In the newly “democratic” Ukraine which has allegedly acquired EU standards of democracy he will no doubt be marked for DEATH on their “Mirotvorets” list.

In our own “democracies” he’ll most likely be CANCELLED and declared a traitor, an extremist or at least a persona non grata, if not much worse.

After all, who said Carlson and the rest of us have been given permission to look into anything except the rabbit hole supplied to us?

  20. “There is (of course) a Ukrainian history according to the Ukrainian nation and the long war (well over 500 years) they have pursued to be free of Imperial Russia – along with the other Visegrads and the Baltics. This would be the version disapproved by Uncle Vova. ”

Of course “Uncle Vova” would disapprove, he’s got a functioning brain and knows his history.

Those who approve of the above version are sadly brainwashed or otherwise pushing their ideological barrows, e.g “Russia started the shelling of Donbass and Luhansk after it staged the Maidan coup”. rotf!

Ukraine was NEVER a nation and a political state before the Soviet COMMUNISTS parceled off the region and called it a republic, taking parts of the surrounding state territories as their own.

Prior to that it was merely a MUCH CONTESTED geographic region populated by Russians, Poles, Lithuanians, Turks, Hungarians, Romanians, Cossacks and even Serbs in the Kharkov region. Hardly a “nation” by any standards except by Soviet communist ones.

Putin knows his history, it’s not the Western brainwashed version we are fed and which some of us swallow as ideological sucker feed, e.g. Putin has taken all of Ukraine and will be going after the rest of Europe as part of some “communist” revolution. rotf.

Seriously! Our Western drug culture must be taking a bigger toll on our population than most people imagine.

  21. zzz3856… I do so like it when someone saves me from writing. Many thanks.

Just one opine for the benefit of the children present… The Putin of today is the Putin I watched closely 30 years ago. It is not possible to duplicate intelligence.

  22. Briglow… Kennedy said in 1961 that there was a deep state entity behind the government pulling the strings and in control of everything. He died not long after.

  23. zzz3856 said – “So Putin was great, Carlson – not so much.”

Agreed, and President Putin showed his great patience and unrivalled acuity in dealing with the interruptions and not-so-bright questions and allegations.

The utility of this watershed interview has been giving President Putin a voice on possibly the most widely viewed media platform anywhere in the Western world, courtesy of the Tucker Carlson brand.

The mainstream response hardly matters – no-one with two brain cells to rub together takes any notice of them any more.

  24. Putin was, as per usual, brilliant… very articulate and intelligent. And a good beginning for those who didn’t know how the war began, i.e. that Russia was pushed into a corner and had no other option and had been lied to many times prior by the West. He had some other good insights into the stupidity of what the West has done and is doing, including the financial side. The US are on the way out, as has been the case throughout history – Empires come and go.

As for Carlson, I thought some of his questions were unintelligent and stupid which was rather disappointing and a bit embarrassing for him I thought. It was as if he was not really listening to what Putin was saying. Putin had to repeat what he had said a few times. Maybe he was not used to interviewing someone so articulate and intelligent?

To be honest I was a little shocked when at the end he asked for the US spy to be released into his custody to be taken back to the US !! It made me feel like the whole thing was a staged interview, merely to get to this one point. Carlson said he’s just a kid and everyone knows he’s innocent and didn’t do anything.

Putin set him straight on that .. he was caught red handed with secret information in his hand about to pass on and is guilty of espionage. And it was up to the relevant organisations on both side to discuss and to decide on his case.

So Putin was great, Carlson – not so much.

  25. Tucker: So, twice you’ve described U.S. presidents making decisions and then being undercut by their agency heads. So it sounds like you’re describing a system that’s not run by the people who are elected, in your telling.

Vladimir Putin: That’s right, that’s right. And then they just told us to get lost.

  26. Putin hasn’t stolen the Donbass and Crimea, Kruschev is the one who stole it and I think it’s beyond dispute that Zelenskyy is killing the Ukrainians off as quick as Bibi is killing off the Gaza sea-peoples. Putin is not even using up his soldiers, he uses the Swiss (?) mercenaries (Wagner), and he says he is getting off the globalist money but he is still plugged into the Swiss BIS. The bullshit is blinding coming from all directions but Crimea has been Russian for a long time, I read about it in the old books Dostoyevsky and so forth, when I was teenage. Western Ukraina used to be part of the Lithuanian empire. Countries from Poland to Serbia just keep changing and even disappear completely sometimes.

  27. Putin took up the better part of the interview with a long winded the Russia-Ukraine history according to Imperial Russia and the Soviet Union. This would not otherwise be of interest to W. European nations except for the most recent Russia invasion – of the entire nation, just like when the Red Army annhilated Ukraine in the war of 1919-21.

There is (of course) a Ukrainian history according to the Ukrainian nation and the long war (well over 500 years) they have pursued to be free of Imperial Russia – along with the other Visegrads and the Baltics. This would be the version disapproved by Uncle Vova.

The Carlson interview is pure maskirvoka. I hope everyone noticed his red Kaballah bracelet. It was a predictable attempt by the Russian leader to position himself as a ‘white hat’ in the war he is cooking up with Western Europe in order to achieve his integrated ‘One Eurasia’ policy: ‘from Lisbon to Vladivostok’. The EUSSR sings from the same hymn sheet – especially that vomit-inducing Marxist-Leninist: Ursula von der Leyen. She of the ‘Africanisation of Europe’ policy.

Vlad endlessly craps on about NATO – for much of the 21st century it was a dying duck – until he re-galvanized it with his invasion of Ukraine. Now it’s ‘take a number’. Even Sweden wants to be in NATO – that was unthinkable, even at the height of the Cold War. Vlad has no one to thank but himself for NATO re-ignition.

Biden is very low hanging fruit. We don’t need to read Novosti to know that Biden and the Biden doubles are actors and bots. Everyone knows the Democrats stole the 2020 election. Whatever Cabal stole the election with an actor playing the role of a dementia patient is the most powerful faction in the US and they have shrouded the real gov’t in secrecy. It rules as a tyranny and it is irrelevant what the American people think about it.

  28. There has been evidence bandied around that this 2nd Putin is the one that kicked the New World Order out of Russia. His wife noticed a permanent change of personality when he came home one night.
Either way, this one is Christian, and is preventing a lot of moral corruption in Russia, and is fighting the Cabal/Deep State, and protecting the ex USSR nations that surround him. They got rid of the Illuminati/Cabal out of Kazakhstan, and will get rid of the 2nd World War Natzis out of Ukraine. And Ukraine will flourish once again once the NWO/Cabal/NATO is gone.

  29. I watched the whole interview, we all know the USA are the problem yet the MSM keep pushing the BS narrative. The USA time is coming to an end, and its by their own doing, a strange species them US politicians.

  30. A dry interview. Putin portrayed himself as a genuine guy.
    Carlson needs a new hairdresser.
I did wonder if the interview was staged?
