For all the critics & armchair whingers[ most so far];
have a careful squint at the RBA’s own figures from the graph here:-

Firstly see that the Resources figures are large enough that they had to be displayed separately, at a different vertical Log Scale.
Secondly, if you add the Rural contribution to the resources Contribution~~fully 3/4 of the Balance of Payment receipts are generated by ~~ 5% of the employed people in Australia.
It is reasonable to believe that the largest consumer of those liquid fuels are in the Resource & Rural sectors.
Everything that supports your standard of living depends on the export receipts.
So WTFU!!!!!!!!!!!! & think about what may well be coming to a supermarket & power bill near you soon.
Now as some of you are aware, we import most of our liquid fuels as a finished product at Tapis Crude $US prices.
Now as the Saudis have signed up for BRICS & Iran is also on that team; the reserve Currency of the World, the $US, is no longer the Petro-Dollar. [ fully fiat ]
So, as a staunch ally, which has never been allowed to produce liquid fuels from either Coal [ Coal- Gas- Liquid>> GTL] or LNG [ ( Shell) Middle Distillate Synthesis];
we will go headlong into the $US collapse & monetary hyperinflation along with the US economy.
So, Malcolm is on the money & good on him for using his position to speak truth.
Further, any politician who cares about National Sovereignty should have energy security & thereby either GTL or SMDS & Thermal coal generation as part of their platform.
Ironically some of the fuel we import is created by SMDS .
We should have had it as part of the NW Shelf or at least part of the more recent Darwin Hub development.

Hi Editor These people like Malcolm Roberts that say all the nice things sell their votes. When we had the farm there was a Senator that used to visit our place and try and help. This Senator told us that they were offered $7,000,000 for their vote to get that issue across the line. The Political Party at that time also stated that if we don’t get your vote you won’t get back in at the next election. Being in opposition with a big mouth can be very rewording. Also Katter. I used to be very friendly with Katter’s office and as slowly learnt how corrupt he was and learned his Dad was there when Whitlam created a Parallel Parliament, Government and so forth, but didn’t say anything. Bob wouldn’t talk to me after that, his office became very cold. Now we have and had a family business Dad Katter, Bob Katter and Robby Katter all can say nice things but do fuck all. Malcolm Roberts swears his Oath to the Queen of Australia. You ask Malcolm Roberts or the Katter’s what Constitution they are under and you will get told the Australian Constitution. In 1973 while Dad Katter was a member of the Parliament they changed the Constitutional and official Definitions without a Referendum.

The Parliamentary Library carries statistics published by the Bureau of Statistics. Their figures on unemployment are actually provided by Centrelink and are pure fabrication.
A person who registers as unemployed must link with a job network agency who then trains that person how to write a job application.
The definition of being employed is any person who works, trains, or studies for one hour per week. Thus the unemployed person is training how to be employed and is therefore employed, and is entered into statistics as employed.
If the unemployed person is Aboriginal and on CDP, he is deemed employed.
If he is an unemployed immigrant and is studying English, he is deemed employed.
In 2001, 2004, 2007, and 2010, I surveyed unemployment across the full Australian demographic. An example of the massive discrepancy was, when John Howard asserted in 2007 that unemployment was 4.3% I measured it at 19%. Yet Howard claimed Australia was enjoying unprecedented prosperity, causing many dads to commit suicide.
An earlier lie. Famous editor Max Walsh of Newsweek-Bulletin, surveyed 30,000 across Australia and measured unemployment at 23% and this was way back in 1999.
Later, Howard’s claims, all appearing in the Parliamentary Library and Hansards, that we were riding high on mining, were, in fact, lower national income figures than for the already dying industrial sector, at 8.3%.
All government figures produced since 1975 are suspect, in the Parliamentary library or elsewhere. Today, just presume any government figure is a lie.
Anyone who says the mRNA jab is safe and effective is a pathological liar, and almost every politician is saying that.

Those figures are pure crap.
Those posting before me here are way more realistic.
Some facts.
The mining giants are foreign and pay taxes elsewhere, which means that they pay no tax (under the Double Tax Act). Royalty payments are invariable less than taxpayer-funded grants for exploration and development.
Treasury is printing the money to pay for our social costs, topped up by age pension contributions that have been paid by us since 1946 and never cancelled.
We should be selling no ore from Australia. As soon as we have rid ourselves of the criminal politicians we will commence smelting NT iron ore and then making cars using old sheet metal molds and basic 1HZ and Holden motors. If the designers don’t like it, stiff. They ripped us off for half a century.

Malcolm Roberts is tabling political shortsightedness that has burdened Australians for decades. I haven’t heard from high profile clowns directing traffic in our political circus.
We grew wool, exported to England and bought it back as clothes.
We chipped our old forests, exported to Japan and bought back as building product; same process with many of our natural resources.
We suffer with the Greens today and it was the chipping of our old forests that got their leg in the political door; they look like gaining, short term, power with the climatespate by destroying our coal industry and fostering an alternative energy that will not produce .
The massive cost will suffer Australians and when the obvious failure looms the massive cost of restructuring coal energy back to where it was as a efficient and cheap energy may put the final nail in our Aussie coffin. Pissing into the wind must be part of our political curriculum.

Indonesia stipulates that stage 1 & 2 at least of added value must take place in Indonesia.
Malcolm misses out of some of the facts. Australia gets a royalty and in oil that is based on the well head price. I guess other mining is the same.
Then there is the arm length company that the miners sell to at the port. That is their own arms length company. Australia does not receive the taxes on the profits of the sale price.
Mining employs 5% of work force which is possibly a lot.

Hi Editor Malcolm Roberts is no different to the rest of the Traitors. All we are becoming is a land with holes where big corporations have dug out the minerals and left. Why aren’t the minerals being processed here and then made into products. Australia the Quarry. If Malcolm Roberts was on our side he would pushing for manufacturing. Like the rest a Traitor. Dick
