Letter to the Editor
Germany is preparing for winter with periods without gas or electricity to keep warm. My 82 year old sister wrote that she has bought a sleeping bag, and so have many others; to snuggle in and keep warm, and have also stocked up with candles and batteries for the torch.
Our myopic Environment minister, Chris Bowen and the equally myopic Greens are hell-bent to inflict the above an us. While the people living in southern hemisphere of Australia, south of the Tropic of Capricorn, are well advised to invest in warm sleeping bags; candles and batteries. However, what should we do in the top half without fans and air-conditioning?? Invest in ice-bags?

The Australian politicians will do their utmost to “cancel” our life style.
Werner, buy a generator, about 1000 watts for fans etc..If you want to keep a fridge going, the generator needs to be about 3 times the rating of the fridge.
DO NOT run the generator in the house or enclosed space as the fumes will kill you.
We are lucky in that we used to mine and have our generator from those times.

I invested in solar about4 years ago. not this “grid tied” rubbish, where if the grid goes down your solar goes down, but the REAL solar. It isn’t cheap, I recon that I’ve spent $10,000-$12,000 over those 4 years but I don’t get a demand for money from the local grid merchant, and my power doesn’t “go down”.
I’m not at all sure if my system is cheaper than the grid, I suspect it’s not, but when the shite hits the fan, don’t come telling me that I can’t turn on a fan or a heater.
Eradicate the politicians forcing this on us, or invest $4000 in a solar system that will keep a fan running most nights.

The powers that be know that man-made climate change is bs. They also know we’re headed into a solar minimum. So, how do they keep their bs climate narrative going as things cool naturally? How do they save face and keep the normies trusting them? They claim that the Green New Deal measures they’re implementing – as well as the “Covid-related” down-turn in economic activity – did the trick in preventing “global warming,” that’s how. Then after their Great Reset, after the mass-cull, they brainwash the young-uns into believing they saved the day.
