VEDA: Gestapo for hire in Australian business

These corporate ‘guns for hire’ head up Australia’s biggest snooping company, VEDA, searching for any information they can find on you, your family, your business, employment history, remuneration, taxation information, assets, family relationships, wills, credit history, bankruptcy, criminal records, your home, local authority files, banking history, insurance claims, drivers licence, traffic history, motor vehicle details, social media contacts and much more WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION.

Should you want to find out what personal information is held by the company or who has been inquiring about your personal files, VEDA will demand you pay dearly for access, to information sometimes unlawfully gathered without your explicit permission.

If you have applied for a job in any industry or applied for a loan, chances are the company will seek information about you from VEDA and other corporate cources.

Your personal information will be passed on to your prospective employer, lending institution or insurance company possibly without your knowledge.

So-called state and federal privacy legislation does not protect you against these voracious predators holding your vital information, selling it to anyone who will pay for it.

VEDA has joined forces with RP Data, a company which collates all local government information matching street numbers, rural numbers, every real estate contract of sale, electricity accounts and drivers licence details with Google Earth records.

Cairns News advises those who do not approve of correct or incorrect information held about you by VEDA or other similar corporations to contact your federal member of parliament before the election demanding this legislation be amended to prevent this subversive company(and others) from obtaining any government-held personal information and preventing this company from making it available to a third party.
