The Queensland Liberal National party has threatened law abiding gun owners with jail if they do not hand in unregistered firearms during the present amnesty. In December, Cairns News ran a story about the Liberals and their hate of guns. This blind stupidity follows the Port Arthur massacre, now conclusively proven to be a government sponsored psy-ops.
Firearms industry sources estimated post Port Arthur there were at least one million firearms in Queensland not handed in during the national mass confiscation and crushing of tens of millions of dollars worth of valuable guns ordered by then Liberal Prime Minister John Howard.
Police Minister Jack Dempsey, a former cop, told ABC radio only 310 firearms had been handed in. He insisted he will jail honest people or criminals if they do not cough up more of their valuable heirlooms, in many cases inoperable. The question need asking: which Queen or Crown does Jack represent? His corporate laws are only effective in the United States where his police department and the state government are registered as a corporation
The Liberal Party holds gun owners in such disdain that all legitimate registered gun owners are placed on the national criminal data base along with murderers and rapists.
As usual the Sporting Shooters Association and most other shooting bodies have been as handy as a hip pocket in a singlet ever since the Port Arthur operation.
