RN party leader Marine Le Pen - France's next president?

THE so-called far right National Rally (RN) party of France and its allies have secured a historic victory in the Senate, sending yet another shot over the bow of globalist political forces who hide behind the political labels of left, centre left, moderate and centre right.

In France, a coalition of these forces currently rules in the nation’s National Assembly. We might call them the Uniparty or simply “the Blob” and relate them to the Liberal Party “moderates”, the Teals, the Greens and Labor who could potentially form an alliance to “protect Australia from the far right One Nation”.

Last weekend nine senators from Marine Le Pen’s party were elected, while two more were chosen from their allies in the Union of the Right for the Republic (UDR) party. With the three seats the RN won in 2023, the caucus now has a record 14 seats in the upper chamber of parliament.

The results will also be sending shockwaves through the halls of the European Union in Brussels – a bastion of the globalist left.

Le Pen, the party leader and presidential for next year’s election, commented: “The results go beyond what we could have hoped for; the breakthrough is widespread, confirming the acceleration of the National Rally’s establishment across the entire territory.”

Now with more than 10 Senate seats, Le Pen’s party will for the first time be able to form an official bloc with the UDR in the Senate. However they are still blocked by the coalition of right, centre and left-wing socialists.

French senators serve a six-year term and are indirectly elected by an electoral college made up of 172,600 local officials, including members of both houses of parliament, regional and departmental councillors, and municipal councillors. As with the Australian Senate, half of the 348-seat upper chamber come up for election every three years.

The senators make up half of the French parliament – the other being the National Assembly (similar to our House of Representatives), which is elected by the public and is relied on by the government to pass legislation, while senators scrutinise, debate and amend proposed new laws.

The centre-right Republican party and its Uniparty allies will retain a majority with 128 seats, down from 134.

A “political expert” cited by The Independent said it was a “good omen” that the far left La France Insoumise (LFI) won its first Senate seat and that the party leader, “the charismatic Jean-Luc Mélenchon”, will also stand in the presidential poll in 2027.

The Independent admitted that while the appointments do not change the National Assembly, where laws are made, and will not dramatically upset the makeup of the Senate, “they do, however, point to a shift in support for far-right parties among elected officials in the lead-up to the presidential elections in April.”

A poll released two weeks ago showed Le Pen maintained her lead for the first round of the presidential election, while far-left rival Mélenchon was second in most tested scenarios, the Independent reported.

Macron’s former prime minister Édouard Philippe is the only centre-right candidate to come ahead of Mélenchon in one of the scenarios tested, and to tie with him in another. The other candidates would finish behind Mélenchon in all scenarios.

Former French socialist president Francois Hollande said on Monday that he might yet decide to run for president in 2027, but only if he sees a real chance of winning.

“Running for the presidency is not a decision to be taken lightly, all the more so for a former head of state like myself,” Hollande told Italian daily La Repubblica.

Dr Lees assessed it was still more likely that Philippe would emerge as the centrist challenger to take on Le Pen or Mélenchon, noting Hollande’s reputation is still “marred by a disappointing term of office”, failing to tackle systemic issues in the economy.

“At this stage, Hollande would need to stand as an independent candidate outside the Socialist party’s umbrella, which may well prove too challenging.”

  1. Nosehair man of Nowhere USA,
Your comments mostly have no relevance to Australia, did you ever actually visit Caulfield or East St Kilda or Bondi Junction to meet your relatives or do you just live on a footpath (sidewalk) in Brooklyn

  2. Commenter of Nowhere USA
Your grandmother was a joo, you are deeply closeted, face up to reality, your denials don’t fool anyone

  3. Haha…Joe calls me “racist” and “hateful”…what do you mean by “racist” Joe? Show me where I have said something that will verify your definition and explanation.
    .
Also; what do you mean by “hateful”? What is it that you believe/perceive it is that I “hate”?
Show me where I have said something that verifies your explanation, and thus shows that what might be perceived as my “hate” is totally inappropriate for a sane individual.
    .
You say these things as if it’s a crime or mental disorder that I (and others) “suffer” from. I don’t believe you.
I call it “gaslighting”. Or; being told I must agree that 2+2=5 or else…something unpleasant will happen to me.
    .
The Z.O.G.of the Soviet Union used to say the same thing about those who rejected their claims, and used to send them to Gulags, lock them up in mental institutions…or just execute them if they wouldn’t comply and believe and do as they were told.
Who founded the Soviet Union? Why?
Here’s who, and why (or is this just another “hateful”, racist” “irrational” attack on Jews?):

Except, Stalin wasn’t an “antisemite”, and the JEWS never lost their grip on Russia–

    Is Chabad-Lubavitch “fake joos” Joe?

  4. Haha…the “authoritative” and “learned” Rabbi Joe Bogan constantly declares that none of the evildoers are “real joos”, and that the evildoers are all “fake joos”….who else but an authoritative Rabbi could be qualified to make such declarations?
    .
Joe then must be THE SUPREME AUTHORITATIVE REAL JEWISH RABBI that we all must accept as infallible, if we don’t that means we are irrational, stupid, jealous, wicked, primitive “haters” deserving of scorn and punishment by the “real” Jewish “”””God””””.
    Right, sure, Joe…

  5. Commenter of Nowhere USA
I guess I was brought up in a successful Christian culture, small “l” liberal, multi-ethnic, in fact I had a Burmese boy next door when I was aged in single digits so I am not so racist and hateful as you would wish. Unfortunately, joo is a catch-all term, and people could identify as jooish ( or not ) for a lot longer than people could identify as the opposite sex, or a “furry” ( cat ) etc. So theoretically just about anyone could be a joo, in fact you may be joo, but in denial, if somewhere in the matriarchal line there was a joo. So, since I have told you I’m not a joo and you say that’s not proof, you prove to me you’re not a joo. You prove your credentials before assuming mine. Prove you’re not a joo. Prove it.

  6. Commenter Smith
Your comment has no value except to other Joo-brained haters like yourself.
Sorry if my comments hurt your feelings, I suggest don’t read them anymore.

  7. No disagreement about the Queensland senate, but if it just duplicates the universal suffrage logic of the other chamber it achieves nothing except more politicians. And property qualifications are not a viable answer given (justified) contemporary attitudes.

  8. Congratulations to Marine Le Pen 👏👏👏 she has transformed her party from a political outsider into the strongest electoral hopeful for the French people… riding the populist wave 🌊

  9. I think Jewish Joe that real fair dinkum people want all that crap you talk about just wiped away, it is all a false construct anyway, This left/right wing of the same bird is Judaism and THEY ADMIT IT! We must get rid of all our sold out to the secret societies, politicians, CEO’s, Bureaucrats, top coppers and top ranked military and judges via the rope for high treason, rid ourselves of ‘Law of the Sea’ FOREVER which is just another name for Talmudic/Satan’s Law…
    .
Jews reject Christ and His law, which is Common/Natural/God’s Law/Law of the Land (eg. you are to enjoy the fruits of your labour- meaning no income taxation/SLAVERY. It must be restored or we will not fix a God damned thing. Then we can round up the treasonous born here Jews and deal with them and their Shabboth Goyim, for following a foreign agenda…They have no excuse like the rest of us, as being loyal to a foreign entity, Israel, is HIGH TREASON.
    .
So where do your loyalties lie Jewish Joe? Israel? You seem to be perpetuating their created fictional façade of us actually having our own government, where our votes and views/opinions matter, which they really don’t…
    .
Queensland senate? ‘The Queensland government’ is just another unconstitutional corporation and ALL of its employees are sitting in High Treason, for Misprision of Treason.

  10. re: “the Liberal Party “moderates”, the Teals, the Greens and Labor who could potentially form an alliance”
They already have since Teals party strategy was to usurp blue party lower house seats. Really the conservatives should call themselves conservative, to do otherwise is to shoot the first shot into their own foot. The “progressive” alliance is currently big enough to morph this way or that but on the issue of Babet’s injections enquiry I think they were unanimously against it, I think on the 4th attempt it got through aided by Pocock but it was then watered down, terms of reference or some other standard form of heist. Pocock has been mentioned as a Klaus Swab affiliate but I think he actually just attended some sort of ClimateChange nonsense a while ago and he has probably got wise to that by now, so, not the ideal investment for Baron S. Hacca, who had better stick to filling lower house seats which are nearly all fully corrupted, so, no good influences on new Teals Party candidates. The known Teals Party WEF conduit is Kate Chaney via Westfarmers [ Bunnings+Priceline+ ? ]. Meanwhile the Greens Party is looking for a new Media Frontperson and WEF YGL Sarah Hanson-Young is in the running, odds would be low because she is already nearly too fat to get through doorways. I think if she was given a box of Ozempic she would eat the whole thing box and all, then get angry because it was too small.
Which segues into another matter, the Queensland senate, abolished by the Qld ALP about 100 years ago, isn’t it time to bring it back ??? The system of Unrepresentative Swill in the lower house is what got Elbow his mudslide win.
