Yes history is “made up” by the winners, if you can’t understand that you’ll always be lost.

In terms of the study of historical figures I can say from a young age I was interested in maps and heraldry, things like that and later as a teenager I was very curious about the money trails from ww2. As far as historical figures,,,,,, for example
