“NICE to see Germany catch up with One Nation policy,” Senator Malcolm Roberts posted on X this week.
Senator Roberts was commenting on the decision of the German government of Friedrich Merz to cut more than 30 billion euros from its Climate and Transformation Fund.
Tellingly, the purpose of the German cuts is to offset electricity prices to help the manufacturing sector remain competitive. Germany, under the influence of Greens, centrists and EU policy, spent billions on what Australia is trying to do – to move away from fossil fuel energy.
As a result, Germany, an industrial powerhouse, saw its steel, automotive, chemical, plastics assets struggling under increasingly high energy costs, which they have now been forced to offset to keep the industry competitive.
“Ending the self-destructive net zero scam has been our policy for years. From the start save the money, balance the budget,” said Roberts.
Germany’s Climate and Transformation Fund is the equivalent of Australia’s Net Zero Economy Authority, which operates under the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
These agencies not only funnel hundreds of billions of dollars into green energy projects, they basically carry out the insane objectives of the Paris Climate Accord, which is essentially to deindustrialize and impoverish the west, in our case by aiming to reduce emissions to 62-70% below 2005 levels by 2035.
“Emissions” are considered any type of CO2 output from the burning of fossil fuels that currently drive every advanced economy in the world. The biggest manufacturing economy is China, which produces about 32% of all manufactured goods worldwide, approximately three times the gross manufacturing output of the United States, even though the US is at the top for GDP.
China also happens to be the world’s biggest producer of carbon emissions, and the connection between that and its manufacturing dominance is no coincidence.
All of this manufacturing is also ultimately controlled by the Chinese Communist Party, a fact with which the globalist powers of the West appear to be comfortable. The CCP appears to be quite comfortable with the World Economic Forum, the UN and Agenda 2030 objectives, at least in the sense of population control through the world’s most advanced surveillance state.
Meanwhile One Nation’s stated objective of abolishing the federal Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water has sent shock waves through the establishment.
Funding for this department was cut by $2.1 billion in the last Federal Budget from $10.5bn. In addition the handouts and subsidies managed by the department decreased from $8.7 billion to $6 billion in 2026–27.
The budget also identified about $1.3 billion in savings over the medium term by scaling down uncommitted funding for programs like Hydrogen Headstart, Solar Sunshot, and the Battery Breakthrough Initiative.
But despite the $6 billion in “savings” Albanese and co’s 2026–27 federal budget earmarked a cool $18.2 billion in new net zero and “clean energy” spending over the medium term – money that basically destroys Australia’s productive economy by disincentivizing the use of fossil fuels.
Senator Roberts, meanwhile, went on to cite energy expert Aidan Morrison’s conclusions from reading CSIRO’s latest GenCost report, which found:
- Doing nothing toward UN Net Zero produces the cheapest electricity prices
- The strategy that maximises UN Net Zero produces the most expensive electricity
- Coal-fired electricity is cheapest electricity
- GenCost reports are largely fraudulent.
Roberts says reports from the CSIRO generally “aim to justify Uniparty’s UN Net Zero” policies.
And of course, green politics and global money flows go together. Speaking at the World Economic Forum, Standard-Chartered banker Bill Winters boasted about how much money he’s making from the Net Zero agenda – close to a billion dollars in 2025.
“It’s pretty clear that in the long run we need to disgorge ourselves from reliance on fossil fuels,” the banker said in self-justification.
And then he admitted to the reality: “It’s just a big business, and it’s a profitable business. I don’t want to sound too mercantilist about it, but we do the right thing and get paid for it. It’s a win, win.”

I have long thought the same about solar panels on EVs but it’s not my job to mandate common sense, it’s bonehead Chris Bowel’s job.
It’s also Lord Muck’s job since he is doing the EV trucks too should have thought of that by now or doesn’t he buy into climate SCIENCE – MWA HA HA HA HAA. He is a bit risk averse with his ” street cred” ( anyone remember that ) unlike Chris Bowel who would mandate solar panels on igloos if he was told to.
