Porepunkah farmer and heritage consultant Andrew Swift is the owner of the rural property in the Victorian highlands where Dezi Freeman allegedly shot three police officers on August 26, 2025, who were breaking into his bus trying to arrest him on a warrant allegedly for an historic sex offence.
Getting a warrant with these allegations is a favourite ruse for police which allows them to harass someone such as Dezi who had run-ins with police for years over minor breaches of corporate political party policy masquerading as law.
Just ask Julian Assange.
The veracity of the allegation in the warrant is dubious to say the least.
Freeman told police and magistrates over the years that their Admiralty law was just that – it didn’t apply on land.
It is obvious this terrible tragedy could have been averted had Mr Swift been allowed to mediate between hostile police and the Freeman family trapped in the bus. Instead they took him away.
Police training or lack thereof is the main offender here and when police at their training academies are told the “public is the enemy” then these situations are hard to prevent.
The part Mr Swift played in helping the injured policeman is notable and he should have been given a meritorious award for his efforts. Instead they held the sword of Damocles over his head in fear the real story, deliberately obfuscated by the legacy media, could get out.
What is quite obvious is that the bullet hole in the sheet of iron on the shed wall, which Mr Swift said could have been made by Freeman shooting at a police officer, definitely was not made by a home made shotgun, the firearm the police said Freeman used.
The hole in the corrugated iron was made by a bullet fired from a centrefire rifle or handgun.
The truthful story related by Mr Swift in this video bears little semblance to the crap pedalled by the legacy media at the time.
Dezi Freeman was finally located and shot by police on March 30 this year after seven months hiding out on a property a short drive from where the police officers were killed.

Seriously Pat…you rehash the same S in every comment you post! We shouldn’t stop talking about Dezi, until all the lies are uncovered. He deserves that, the dead young policemen deserve that. He never used violence, he used the law and the courts. Imagine how it felt to be faced with 10 armed police, ready to throw him in jail for “historic child abuse offences”. We have all read what inmates do to those people!
We should keep talking about Dezi, and Port Arthur and the Trains and anyone else who has had no justice under the law. If we had stopped “rehashing” about Julian Assange, he would still be in jail!
I reckon anyone who had suffered under, or by the law, would want their case to be talked about and ‘rehashed’ every day until the truth was revealed. The added injustice for these people would be our silence!

I’d be interested to know how much time Victorian Police have spent on this Freeman case including their systematic harassment of innocent Victorians, their undercover work in Northeastern Victorian towns that persisted right from the events of that day until Dezi was found on and now of course the resources consumed their attempts to find those who may have helped Dezi.
One might wish they spent 1/100th of those resources actually tackling crimes that have impacts upon the people they are paid to serve rather than being obsessed with their own. Afterall, Dezi was clearly never a threat to any Victorian civilians yet the police probably could have solved scores of significant crimes that impacted civilians with those resources.
They even spent three weeks casing me (!!) in my northeastern regional Victorian town because I match Dezi’s age and physical profile and I just happen to like being outside when other people aren’t around. Some local clown obviously told police they thought I was Dezi in disguise on my 4.30 AM morning exercise in the dark (or they took it up on themselves to shake down early morning exercisers who matched Dezi’s physical attributes) and there followed a bizarre few weeks of undercover cops who were obviously not that good at their job checking me out.
I’m not quite sure what my favourite was. The bloke on the bench who started up a conversation as to why I was out so early in the morning. A bench that in the last decade, not one soul has ever sat upon before the bus routes start each morning 90 minutes later. And this bloke looked about as much like a blue collar worker as my Mum looks like Usain Bolt. And spoke more like a law graduate than a bread factory worker….
Or the young lady who had all the physical attributes of a fit young constable who wanted to get right into my personal zone by walking under my umbrella to get to her specific destination, but forgot to ask where I was actually heading first and forgot to take into account that it has actually stopped raining….
Or the older guy sitting on the bench late at night – again when no one in the last decade has ever sat upon except for one occasion when I helped a poor intoxicated guy – who again started up a conversation which included material to check if I had been in the armed forces….his excuse?….he liked being amongst the possums……

When I read that 10 Cops are sent to arrest one man and 3 are shot so what were 7 Cops doing after they heard shooting taking place where the Warrant was being served ?

One thing I KNOW from my own experience: Andrew will NEVER get his phone back because it holds the REAL truth which would bring down all the cops involved – and quite possibly the entire Vic Police as well as there would be others higher up ensuring the evidence is either well hidden or destroyed!
