Subversive Productivity Commission removes environmental protections from damaging wind turbines

One Nation WA Senator Tyrone Whitten has slammed the Productivity Commission for proposing what it calls a blatantly unlawful and environmentally disastrous plan to exempt wind farms and other renewable energy projects from Australia’s national environmental protections.

ON Senator Tyrone Whitten

In an extraordinary move, the Commission is recommending the removal of federal environmental oversight for wind, solar, battery, and transmission infrastructure, fast-tracking approvals for projects that would otherwise be prohibited by law.

“The Productivity Commission has lost the plot,” Senator Whitten said.

“What they are proposing is not just dangerous, it’s a direct assault on Australia’s environmental laws and democratic processes.”

The proposal would strip away the independent federal oversight provided by the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) Act, allowing the destruction of irreplaceable landscapes including remnant forests, RAMSAR-listed wetlands, prime farmland, and marine sanctuaries.

“This would be the first time in Australian history that an entire industry is given a free pass to bulldoze nature, no scrutiny, no accountability. It’s a carve-out for corporate interests at the expense of our national environment,” Senator Whitten said.

“If these proposals go ahead, Australia will be in breach of multiple international treaties. It’s a legal and moral disgrace. And to make matters worse, many of these projects are controlled by foreign-owned companies with no long-term interest in the health of Australia’s environment or communities.”

Outrage is growing across the country, with environmentalists and farmers uniting in opposition to what they see as the industrialisation of Australia’s last remaining wild and productive landscapes.

“This is a sell-out of everything Australians value, our land, our water, our wildlife, and our sovereignty. One Nation will fight this madness every step of the way. We will not allow our environment to be sacrificed on the altar of corporate greenwashing.”

One Nation stands for real environmental protection, not loopholes for profiteers.

9 thought on “New WA Senator off to good start bagging environmental exemptions for wind turbines”
  1. Common sense, critical thinking – I wonder how many of the freaks that make these kind of absurd decisions ever stop and ask ‘is this true’, ‘does this make sense’.

Go back to first principles, for example, if you want to save the planet, is global warming/climate change real or just plain bullshit? Or, does this decision (like big forking windmills) provide a viable solution?

If you don’t have any critical thinking skills, then you will likely come up with absurd solutions for delusional problems.

  2. We need more of these honest senators urgently, people who refuse to vote for them should hang their heads in shame

  3. The beating of the drum just goes on and on……
These politicians and politically inspired freaks put out by our universities cannot help themselves to simple commonsense thinking.
SACK the whole business for profit government and start again from the ground up, with none of the existing ones ever able to enter into any form of government.
EVERY AGENDA OF THE PARIS AGREEMENT HAS DESTROYED AUSTRALIA >>> AND THEY ARE ALL BASED ON LIES.

  4. Well done Senator Whitten and One Nation for expressing the lunacy that surrounds us all.

All those that express their hatred of Pauline Hanson through the ballot box will one day be paid a dividend, one which you will regret. You are actually paying now, through your electricity bill and higher consumer goods but you are too stupid to work it out.

  5. So-called ‘renewable’ wind farms are a total sham and environmental disaster. And environmental impact statements are also shammed, resulting in many examples of environmental damage (in some cases irreparable damage) by operators of these farms. The sheer amount of clearing required for just one turbine for roads and easements, and associated transmission lines is significant. When you calculate that over the full scale of a large wind farm, the environmental damage is staggering. Not to mention wind farms are an eye sore, cause the death of thousands of birds, and the non-recyclable polypropylene blades which must be replaced periodically go to landfill. Wind turbines are as ‘renewable’ as EV’s. The simple fact is that wind and solar farms would be financially unviable and would never get environmental approval if it wasn’t for fat Govt subsidies and a sham EIS process. Given that ancient free energy technology has been supressed. The next best form of renewable energy is baseload hydro electric, gas and clean coal fired power stations as it has always been. That is also the cheapest form of energy, which is why China has 1,195 coal fired power stations, and is planning to add megawatts of new capacity in the next 2 years.

  6. “Productivity ! Productivity ! The things done and justified in Your Name !!”
When “scientifically” applied to the work place it simply means your employer is not making enough money out of using you, and so your wages should be reduced (workload increased for same pay), and any conditions removed that restricts employer making more money…
It sounds sciencey but is merely economic ideology

  7. We do not have global warming but we do have global cooling and it will end in 14,539 years and then warming will start.
