This is just BS posturing from Jacinta Allan. Firstly the ban only applies to Victoria. If a bad actor wants to get their hands on a machete, they can buy one from interstate, or fashion one from steel and wood. Crims will always get their hands on weapons regardless of whether they’re banned or not (eg: 3D printed assault rifles which you can either build from open source plans, or buy through the dark web). And hunting knives still cause a lot of damage even if machetes are banned. This is a desperate Govt making trying to play catch up on a problem of thier own making. Word of advice to Jacinta…you can’t have it both ways.

In Swissyland everyone has guns and did military training, no issues. They may have made some minor changes since dystopia went mainstream.
