No matter what, folks, no way any of those insurance policies was ever going to pay up. All those people were toast before the fires even got started.

For a start how do insurance companies cancel insurance policies if there is no house owner fault. Insurance is a CONTRACT between the company and the customer. Much is being made these days of contracts but when the big end of town breaks a contract the LAW says nothing.
If these insurance companies were going to go broke and knew the reason why, it is up to them to carry on business as per usual and if the event they knew of, was carried out, it was then up to them to sue the Government and those that carried out that event. After all if they knew the event was going to happen they must have known who would be the perpetrator. After all not every arson inclined person walks around with a “weapon of mass destruction” or DEW.
These insurance companies shall probably still go broke as they will have no customers. If after this event home owners are able to rebuild, who would be stupid enough to once again insure their property? Or what other insured person in US would in future risk taking out a policy which can at any time be cancelled at the whim of that company because of the likely-hood of them going broke for any reason at all.
