Australia’s Labor Party Treasurer Dr Jim Chalmers sends the country broke, has not held a real job in the private sector

From Macrobusiness

The head of Deloitte Access Economics, Pradeep Philip, gave one of the best summaries of Wednesday’s Q3 national accounts release from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), noting that the private sector was being “clobbered” and the economy was “stuck in the mud and spinning its wheels”.

“With little headroom for further fiscal stimulus and with the private economy clobbered, the case for a rate cut is strong”, he said.

“But with the Reserve Bank of Australia maintaining a hawkish outlook on inflation, a rate cut may well come later rather than sooner”.

CEO of the Australian Industry Group (AIG), Innes Willox, gave a similar assessment, noting that the private sector is in recession and shedding jobs.

“The data shows much of the private sector faces recession-like conditions. It is only a flood of government spending in recent months that is masking the true picture in the broader economy”, Willox said.

“It is clear the non-government sector of the economy, the private sector, is in contraction and you could then argue it is in recession”.

“There is a big transfer between the private sector and the public sector at the moment”.

“The private sector is shedding jobs to the public sector, which is picking up jobs. But are they the productive jobs we want?”.

“The real problem we have here for the economy is that the private sector, which is the engine room of the economy, is slowing quite dramatically”.

“An economy increasingly dependent on government spending in lower-productivity industries is simply not sustainable”, he said.

The Q3 national accounts, according to Coalition shadow treasurer Angus Taylor, demonstrated how the Albanese government had failed the public by relying solely on migrants and public handouts to sustain the economy, thereby increasing inflationary pressures.

“This outcome reflects the complete and utter failure of Labor’s big Australia, big government policies”, he said.

It is difficult to disagree with the above assessments.

The seven-quarter per capita recession is the longest on record, masked by unprecedented population growth.

    BANKS CONTROL GOVERNMENTS

“I care not what puppet is placed upon the throne of England to rule the Empire on which the sun never sets. The man who controls Britain’s money supply controls the British Empire*, and I control the British money supply.” – Nathan Mayer Rothschild

Going back to the year 2001, Australia’s foreign debt was $326.12 billion (Australian Bureau of Statistics, Balance of Payments; Cat. No. 5302.0; Table 35). It is even more now.

The Treasury Department advised that Australian taxpayers pay $20 billion interest on this debt every 12 months. Imagine the schools, hospitals, police, soldiers and equipment $20 billion would buy every 12 months!

You can control a Government if you have it in your debt. A creditor (banker) is in a position to demand the privileges of monopoly. Money-seeking Governments have granted monopolies … the monopoly which the international financiers most covet is control over a nation’s money. ( NDCC [above], page 41).

Whoever controls credit, controls policy, and with it, power over and above the heads of Government. ( The ABC of Social Credit , page 25, by E.S. Holter; Heritage Bookshops). …………………..

  2. If ya wanna know how we’re going… I’m told 75% of our GNP used to be from manufacturing, that’s when we used to make things for ourselves! Nowadays it’s around 5%, that’s when we make next to nothing for ourselves!. Nowadays we just sell our natural resources and our “services” to ourselves but mostly to foreign corporations which onsell them at hefty profits.

Instead of formerly being the subjects of the British Empire, we have been taken over and are COMPLETELY dependent vassals of the foreign Globalist Financial Empire. SO WELL MIGHT WE ASK WHO IS TO BLAME?

Who ever said “colonialism” died in the 20th century?

  3. One can only laugh as every politician in opposition trashes current policy but when it’s their turn at the wheel things only get worse.

It’s called democracy. Politicians choose the leaders, the public votes them out. Spin, rinse, repeat.

How telling that he got the prestigious Disraeli prize and recognition from a foreign, special interests group rather than from his own broader public!

Clearly, foreign interests must know what’s good for us better than we do, eh?

Nice to watch the Australian Uniparty still marching in lockstep, it’s quite mesmerising. 🙂

  5. Chalmers is a meat puppet for Keating and this is the recession we had to have mk 2

  6. In other words, Chalmers has no experience in a real world environment except as an academic and a party apparatchik? Would that be a fair summary?

  7. A nation disobeying Christs directions must expect punishment.

Our parliament is full of anti-Christs who have led this nation astray.

The Old Testament model of preserving and promoting Israels culture and tradition was God-given by the Commandments of Moses. If strangers and non-Hebrews were to be welcomed to live among you, you will not compromise any of your God given rules for them. Foreigners must not be allowed to set up their own beliefs and ceremonies among you.

Similar conduct was required of Christians in the New Testament; not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers – that is non Christians.

  8. A letter I wrote to the Melbourne Heard Sun about Jeff Kennett’s boorish 9 Point Plan to restore the highly-dysfunctional Victorian economy-unpublished, of course, as it is a Murdoch paper, after all:
“The bottom line with reports of business woes, overzealous land taxing and the state’s massive debt is that this Victorian government is not in the least bit fit to govern.
This has been so since been since the days of Daniel Andrews destruction of everything good about Victoria, which was-emphasis: was-the engine room of Australia’s economy.
Jeff Kennett’s Plan is banal, by any stretch, as his beloved Liberals failed, miserably, year upon year, as an effective opposition.
Kennett did Victoria a massive disservice by amalgamating the Councils, and should just shut up and go away for his council horrendous wrongdoing.
If the government were not incompetent, or just downright malicious, no suggestion for a competent “team” would be necessary.
And no Monitors or supervision for Jeff’s local councils would be necessary if so many councils were not corrupt to the core-as witnessed by the Casey Council/John Woodman saga-outed for being so, and wound up, as they
    rightly should have been.
Jeff’s suggestion should have been for the Governor to dissolve this dysfunctional Parliament, and just start all over again-with real integrity.
And I would be happy to debate it all with him, publicly.”
Kennett also emasculated WorkSafe, back in the mid-1990’s, vacating all positions ans re-hiring all the good inspectors all but the ones who did the job properly. Whilst Kennett cannot be to lame for what goes n today, the fact is that there have been more deaths on Victorian worksites in the last ten years that ever before-deaths that just should not have happened had workplace safety actually been paramount.
When three blokes die on a construction site when the kipple breaches and these blokes are in the hole meant for the concrete, and subsequently drown in the concrete, they obviously have not had proper workplace safety training.
I know this because I was a two time CFMEU labour hire shop steward, in the mid-’90s-with an OHS qualification-and being labour hire I got around to a lot of different sites all over Melbourne.

  9. SAME STORY HERE IN NZ ARDERN PUT THE BOOT INTO SMALL BUSSINESS AND LUXEN IS FOLLOWING SUIT,THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE OUT OF WORK IS GROWING STEADELY JUST LIKE OUR DEBT IS OUT OF CONTROL AND YET WE ARE STILL BRINGING NON SKILL PEOPLE IN BY THE THOUSANDS.
I BELIEVE THAT THE IMMIGRATION OF DIFFERENT CULTURES AND RELIGIONS ARE GOING TO CREATE ANIMOSITY AND PERHAPS WARFARE ALL IN THE NAME OF TAKING WESTERN IDEAOLIGY AND CONTROL AWAY.
IT WILL BE A LOT EASIER TO CONTROL LOW IQ PEOPLE RATHER THOSE WITH AN .
EDUCATION WHICH OF COURSE IS WHAT THE GLOBALISTS WANT.
WATCH FOR YOUR POLITICIANS, THEY ARE SELLING OF THIER ASSETS GETTING READY TO ESCAPE WHEN THE FIGHTING BEGINS.

  10. Power hungry Tanya Plibersek slips a knife into Elbow’s back and Chalmers says the best thing is if he remains treasurer.
This is a running joke with all the wheels fallen off, even the most average meat puppet is smarter than this.
They don’t even seem to have a proper survival instinct, it is just useless ideas and one disaster after another.

  11. According to Wikipedia the resume above is inaccurate
He has a bachelor of communication not commerce
He has a bachelor of arts not even vege maths
He has a Phd in PJKeatingology
I don’t know if his two BAs from Griffifth were concurrent ( “double degree” ) but who would want to hang around when they were planning on crawling up PKs dirt chute. The guy is not even qualified to be treasurer, it’s a joke.
PK’s daughter is known to hang out with Ghislene Maxwell and Epstein so their job seems to be to bring Australia to its knees.

  12. This was all deliberate, by the 2 Party Communist Dictatorship going back to 1973.

  13. Another success for Labor, & in particular that poor excuse for a treasurer the ever incompetent “Dr” Dolittle Chalmers, for once again destroying our economy & plunging the country into recession/depression.

  14. It was announced in the past several days that Australia has had six quarters of negative growth. That is a recession in anyone’s book. And Depression is ahead – desxcribed as constant below trend growth.

    Regards
