Crazed home invaders ransacked this Ipswich home looking for valuables while a 71 year old home occupant allegedly was shot at and had his arm broken

gunman allegedly took shots at Mr Currie but missed.
Had the home occupants in this incident had access to a firearm the outcome of this violent invasion and physical assault may not have occurred. A 71 year old home owner, Don Currie (left) had his arm broken after the crazed attackers hit him with a firearm. (Pic Courier Mail)
A 27-year-old man was taken into custody at a Bundamba property on Monday afternoon after the incident and subsequently charged with two counts of burglary, one count of unlawful use of motor vehicle, one count of serious assault, one count of assault occasioning bodily harm while armed, one count of acts intended to cause assault occasioning bodily harm, one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and one count of unlicensed driving.
Shane Power-Smith, 27, was briefly mentioned in Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
He made no application for bail and the matter was adjourned to December 18. He was remanded in custody.
A manhunt is under way for the second alleged offender and police are appealing for information in relation to the incident.
Firearms or the new Community Safety laws do not prevent criminals such as these two offenders from using guns during a robbery. The political party duopoly just makes it harder or impossible for home owners to defend themselves, a common law right which the parties and police believe they can remove.
Don’t underestimate the LNP, they voted with Labor to pass the so-called Community Safety Bill in August. They too hate firearms as much as Labor and Greens. Every shooters group and a wide range of organisations made submissions opposing its draconian provisions, one being any person making adverse comments on social media about government will lose their gun license.
Katters Australian Party’s Castle Law bill which allows a homeowner to defend himself with equal force would have gone a long way to help Mr Currie if the LNP and Labor hadn’t voted against it in the last parliament.
Same horse, different rider.
Shooters Union has warned against the Community Safety law which they believe can be used as a battering ram against those who disagree with government policy on social media.
The Queensland Community Safety Bill 2024 amended at least 12 different Acts, including the Weapons Act, the Explosives Act, the Criminal Code and the Police Powers and Responsibilities Act.
A quick read through the legislation shows some truly frightening things including the power to strip firearms licenses from people because of things their family members do, forcing people to take down social media posts the authorities don’t like, and expanding the situations where police can search people without a warrant.
The newly-elected Liberals have now repealed the Truth Telling and Healing Inquiry for Aboriginal people, which they voted for with Labor prior to the Voice Referendum.
The Queensland LNP got scared after the decisive Voice referendum NO result in October 2023 and vowed to repeal the Truth Telling law if they won the state election in October 2024.
Will the LNP repeal the draconian, unlawful provisions of the Community Safety Act? We urge readers to contact their local LNP state member and tell them to repeal it in the same manner. Tell them you want the ability to defend yourself in your own home by supporting KAP’s Castle Law bill.

I’ve said it many times, and also as a suggested help to Aboriginal women.
If the law won’t protect you and you are not allowed to defend yourself in any sufficient manner, but instead will prosecute YOU, buy a Rottweiler.
No use asking for police protection. They are too busy protecting politicians.
Current home defence as outlined by the ‘law’ is stand blindfolded with your hands nicely tied behind your back for your own safety. That’s the equivalent of the ‘equal force’ defence rule where you first have to play the rock, paper, machete guessing game with the intruder and then locate a suitable ‘equal’ weapon. If you are one of the million plus left with a single shot or bolt long rifle getting to it is therefore in a timely manner is also highly unlikely. One, it will be locked in a approved gun safe so usually that will have two keys. Then your ammunition must be retrieved as it must also be locked up in a separate strong box. I doubt any defender under these conditions would even get to their firearm and if so would probably be stopped by the already armed aggressor who will then have access to a firearm/s and ammo. All the while at any time of the year the licenced owner may hear a knock at the door by police for a spot check that both firearm and ammo are well secured as if not they are out the door. Having suffered a home invasion I can assure you time is limited to do anything once they get in. You wouldn’t even get to the keys. As they are all ultra-violent these days it would be best at that point to comply. At present I have ‘alternatives’ to firearms in most rooms ranging from a 13000 lumen torch to bats as there is no where to run in a full on home invasion. if you have to fight its best they are armed as I think baseball bats beats machetes and knifes. A bit worried about using the torch as it might damage their retina and be deemed excessive. It sets fire to paper held to it.
Maybe if the spineless ‘independent’ politicians made an issue about what really happened at the Port Arthur Massacre, then maybe the citizens might also grow a spine and put an end to this tyranny.

No more flat earth please. Editor
Time to put up a bell in Parliament House to expose these politicians for what they truly are!

All I can say is “Thank you Mr. Howard.”
All State and Federal lawmaking is bound by Constitutional law limits. So what is not in the Constitution is not allowed to become law without a referendum .
So under Constitutional Law, we, the people still have full rights to bear arms to protect ourselves and those around us.
No government body has the right to remove any of our freedoms.
If someone breaks and enters, or enters your property for ANY REASON without your express approval, you have the right to remove them any way you see fit, dead or alive…. Royal Assent Law.
You can kill an intruder without their permission. That also includes pretend corporate police and council reps who think they have rights over you or your property.
But with the law, you must know your lawful (not legal) rights.
It is patently obvious that in order to protect ourselves in our own homes, weapons legislation, unlawful as it was must be rescinded.
Otherwise the cure would be a machine g un in the parliament.
False flags. War with Iran. Protests. Provocations. Escalation. Marshall law. Roundups. Death.
Ordo-Ab-Chao.
They might throw in a “virus” too if people start dropping dead en mass from the injections.
I don’t bother with “hope”. What will be will be, whether I hope or want it or not.
I only pray for what’s best for one and all.
I only have control over my own state of mind and behavior, others will be and do as they will.
No the LNP won’t repeal anything the Globalists told them to do.
As for the media stunt involving the Train brothers, they had two massacres in Malbourne in the 80’s preceding the Hobart one so you can see there’s potentially more “siege” incidents ahead.
As the commenter below mentioned Jan 6 confirmation day, I may as well add my opinion, the last confirmation day the building was full of FBI who had been bussed in and if Pence didn’t certify he was probably advised he might be involved in an accident. I won’t hold my breath that 2025 is going to be sunshine, rainbows, pixies and happy dancing unicorns.
Send all your worries re what is happening to Space force website to report it to Army so they can take action after Jan.6th. They have told us to.Pollies here who have done this to us , will be taken care of.
