My commentary about the aboriginal corporations I think is bang on. A couple of local developers here in Geelong have been savaged with extra costs of $1.6 million and $2 million because of garbage sacred sites nonsense from the Wathaurong Aboriginal Co-op banging up assessment of the land their projects are to be developed on.
I contacted on of these developers, who was sorely aggrieved by his misfortune.
The assessors have nine months to make their assessment, and if they do not get there in that time, another nine month period begins-and these Blackfellas are in no hurry to get there.
And my information is, from local Blackfellas, and whitefella close to the real Wathaurongs. that the Wathaurongs in these corporations are not genuine locals, but ring-ins from other areas not in this tribal jurisdiction.
In my videos I say that the only reason these Blackfella corporations-anywhere-are funded is because they agreed to incorporate, putting them under government control, and thus surrendering their sovereignty.
The best approach I can see is for affected people to make claims against these corporations if their interests are harmed in any way, because all corporations-businesses, of any sort, are subject to the commercial liability all corporate businesses are subject to.
