At the beginning of the year a dispute over the employment of presenter Antoinette Lattouf provoked controversy at the ABC and became part of an ongoing debate about race and objectivity at the national broadcaster. Managing Director David Anderson has faced questions in Senate Estimates about his handling of these issues.

At the start of the plandemic, just before the rolling lockdowns & 5km travel restrictions, I went shopping at 2 locations that both had a Woolies. Outside Woolies#1 there was a group of 3-4 people who looked like a SAS team reviewing a plan & discussing with what appeared to be a Woolies manager. At Woolies#2 a similar scene unfolded an hour later.
I reckon the military has the back of big box stores.

I see you missed the bit about my already IRREVOCABLE ban on Woolworths. But not to worry, your solution is still valid for every real Aussie.

We will be following their featured merch lines and displays for the dates Wokeworths wants to commemorate: Pride Month (goes without saying), Eid al-Fitr, Diwali, Chinese Lunar New Year dragons. When the Aboriginals nominate a date they want to celebrate, Wokeworths will be all over it.
This will be the time grind it in. They will be merch Eid and even show respect, but nothing for ANZAC Day. It isn’t even Lent, but already I see they are flogging the Easter hot cross buns, chocolate bunnies and eggs. The temporal aspect of the Christian Pascha and Paschaltide coincides with the European spring and these traditionally pagan symbols and food will probably get folded right into Eid as they both occur in April 2024.
Let’s see how that plays with the Muslims.
I will add to my earlier comment that this is why we have Australian Citizenship ceremonies on Australia Day, to commemorate the day we all became Australians, instead of British subjects.

This was the day the former British subjects, which included our Aboriginal brothers and sisters, were called AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS! It is a day for all to celebrate but the powers that be can’t have that now can they? They have to use it to divide and conquer us. Do not let them, this information has been conveniently forgotten for the ‘agenda’ against us all.
I don’t know when the shaming of Australia began but it has to stop. I don’t know how people that were not even born here can rise to rule us either and that includes SA’s premier as well as Malaysia’s Wong. Their interference potentially removed an unique Aussie perspective from our true representation. My pride in Oz has been attacked, our pioneers suffering and hardships ‘white oppression’ and very little in the way of rebuttal from any of them. If you want to criticise do it and leave because it is still the greatest country and greatest people. Still sadly waiting for any polly to sing any praises of our early forebears and their digger sons. The usual answer to such attacks is Nationalism, a distinct possibility now.

I agree, January 1 is logical, with Jan 2 as a Public Holiday.
But the point is that it is up to US to determine, not for some commercial overseas interests that have marked Australia for internal conflict for their own benefit.
Woolworths and the like should be taking their cues from US, not setting them for us.
I stopped going to Woolworths because of a little faded receipt swindle they did on me, sucking up my credit, it was CBDCs in action before anyone had even heard of them.
I couldn’t care less about Australia day or NSW day as it should be called, Australia was created Jan 1 1901 so the New Years fireworks in Sydney are an appropriate way to mark “Australia Day” and Australia Day could be returned to NSW so everyone else can have their Foundation day instead of having the history erased all the time.
My receipt and the history are being faded out deliberately by the same crowd who want us to own nothing and be happy, or, know nothing and be dead.
Too late, I’ve already imposed an IRREVOCABLE ban on Woolworths. And the same goes for any other woke slime.
And I don’t give a rat’s arse if I have to go out of my way to stick to it. I’ll even do without if that’s what it takes.
Stuff anyone who wants to sell our joint out. And that includes the Judas crews in our gubbernments, Federal, State and Local.
Pathetic woke morons. I’ve significantly reduced my purchases from Coles and WW anyway due to their evil scum BlackRock and Vanguard shareholders.
Whatever happened to the Australia Made or Made in Australia logo that they used to promote.
