Court not a rubber stamp for US authorities

Australia has assisted US authorities to lock up an Australian fighter pilot and Australian citizen, Dan Duggan without formal charges. https://cairnsnews.org/2023/10/31/former-us-pilot-now-australian-citizen-locked-up-on-dubious-charges-at-request-of-us/

Since then, he has attended court and the decision was to allow both the US and Australian governments an additional 7-months to present documents to his defence lawyer to present their case before the courts.  This means that Dan would have spent some 18-months in a maximum security penitentiary without being offered any genuine opportunity to defend the allegations made against him.  This is a continued breach of his human rights that no one in the Albanese government gives a damn about.

Saffrine Duggan fighting to save her innocent husband

This situation has placed Dan’s wife ‘Saffrine’ and their six children in dire financial circumstances.

To add further injury to the situation, Saffrine has attempted to sell her country property in an effort to pay mounting legal and family bills.

Sale of house to assist with legal costs been blocked by Australia

Recently, the Australian government intervened in the sale claiming that the United States Government had a claim over the property.  this means the sale is now in limbo.

Saffrine is becoming hopeless – not only because of the unpaid bills, but because the Australian Government is forcing the family into poverty, while her husband is languishing in jail as an innocent man without a trial and no sentencing.

One of our supporters is suggesting that if there are any Cairns News readers located in the vicinity of the Lithgow Correctional Centre, that they may like to visit Dan in prison to see how he is and to encourage him.  We feel sure that he would appreciate receiving some regular visits from concerned Australians.

Any feedback visitors might care to post in the Comments below about their visit to Dan would be most appreciated .

Below is the latest information Saffrine Duggan has released about her current predicament.

We may have to wait several days before knowing if the NSW Supreme Court will throw out a bid to seize my property, despite crucial errors in the court papers. We need your help more than ever. Please make a donation if you can: https://chuffed.org/project/freedanduggan-campaign

The Guardian and AAP report Dan’s lawyers were seeking to have the order to seize my assets discharged because it was based on incorrect information, wrongly alleging Dan was the director of my company.

I was in the process of selling the house to help fund Dan’s big legal bills and a future for the kids.

In court yesterday the federal agent, Simon Moore, acknowledged the critical error in his affidavit, saying “I misunderstood the material and made an assumption. This assumption I made was in error and I regret that it occurred.”

Dan’s legal team rightly argued it was “a truly unacceptable sequence of events”, and the court was not a “rubber stamp” for US authorities. We now await the judge’s decision.

So Dan’s unjust extradition pushes on at the behest of the US, despite clear issues and #HumanRights abuses. The extradition will be heard on 24 May 2024 – 19 months after he was kidnapped from a carpark in Orange NSW in October last year.

Dan’s case has already been delayed for more than a year due to the refusal by Australian and US government departments to provide documents relevant to the case.

23 thought on “Veteran pilot’s family blocked from selling house to cover legal bill, as pilot languishes in jail without a hearing”
  1. How a ex-US marine come US jet fighter pilot who takes his orders from people responsible for the invasion or overthrow of over 170 nations simply because they don’t align with US interest is our problem defies logic.

Duggan’s situation is better than most, in Australia two years between arrest and trial is the norm.and Dugggan only has to wait 18 months. As for his guilt, the author either has inside information or crystal balls to declare Duggan innocent, either way it’s speculation.

Wake up Australia, distractions are everywhere. Everything is questionable so question everything.

Now we have the worlds first E-Commissioner Julie Inman-Grant censoring the internet, the worlds first Secretary for Men’s Behavior Change Tim Richardson censoring men, the worlds first Information Commissioner Elizabeth Tydd censoring everything else and every one of them with access to AI (I kid you not), don’t believe what you see, don’t believe what you hear and in particular, don’t believe anything the media or government says.

  2. It’s an oldie but a goodie, folks – there is NO LAW in Australia, only the policies of FOREIGN OWNED CORPORATIONS and their armies of hired mercenary enforcers.

    It’s a goodie, because it’s true.

So very strange that everyone keeps playing along with this life-and-death charade. I suppose it’s comfortable to just go along with the crowd so long as it’s someone else who’s being skinned.

  3. Another unofficially acknowledged Australian arm MKUltra-style experimentation surfaced with the revelation of the Anne Hamilton-Byrne cult on a country property at Eildon, north of Melbourne. It was called The Family and consisted of adopted children (up to 28) and adults. One of the members, Leif Meynell (aka Leif Hamilton), was a live-in lover and third partner of Julian Assange’s mother Christine. One of the cult children looks remarkably like Julian Assange.-Editor 3

  4. This man used a government owned asset “DUGGAN” to do stuff that the government (Vatican ultimately) didn’t like him doing by using their property (the surname). Doing that wasn’t a privilege forming part of the bargain.

It might help if he became a “secured party creditor”, although it might also be a bit late for that however, if he was successful, all of the costs (bills) could then be “accepted for value” (AFV) and would come out of the DUGGAN asset account held by the Vatican.

The process isn’t easy however, what else does this man Daniel, have to lose now? He could try that. He might want to make contact with one of the 11 million or more secured party creditors in America (and many in Australia, I did that myself back in 2021).

And he could also try to collapse the trust (DUGGAN) then there would be a bit of a problem pinning DUGGAN on Daniel. Just a thought, you never know.

  5. Dear Editor, cairnsnews,
Common Law means Juries are mandatory and that this Right and Justice cannot be sold, denied or delayed to anyone. Unless Dan Duggan has knowingly signed a Memorandum of Consent, then even his application for Bail must be judged by a Jury. Has he applied for Bail? Has there been a Writ of Habeas Corpus? Has he Challenged the jurisdiction of the Court?
    Yours sincerely,
    John Wilson.

  6. Unfortunately if it came from Epoch Times we no longer find them a reliable source and we have previously published what happened to Mr Duggan and it would appear he has been stitched up. Ed

  7. Alan Vaughn, you’re right about Trump, he’s put there by Rockefeller and is just another puppet just like every other president since the murderous FDR. Now, this will raise an eyebrow or two, Julian Assange set out as a Rothschild agent, he was trained in Israel and spent two years living in the Middle East. You will notice that all he leaked was information against the US, nothing was ever divulged about the British, the French or anyone that falls under the Rothschild sphere. Keep in mind, in 2014 David Rockefeller’s son Richard was killed in an air crash. The investigation concluded Mossad was responsible. Since then both families have hated each other and it has been tit for tat between them ever since and that’s where Assange fits into this. I guess “Live by the sword, die by the sword”.

Well really what do you expect from a government that cannot even help Julian Assange?

Your hero: the Great ‘Father of the Vaccine’: Mr Genocide Trump could easily have helped him too – granted him a pardon which would have resulted in him being freed but did nothing – just looked the other way.
When asked if he would do anything to help him, he just offered a typical politician style ‘no comment’ response.
Despicable and cowardly, but what do you expect from that treasonous WEF owned golden-haired puppet?
Now Julian remains, rotting away in London’s Belmarsh prison, practically waiting to die like many others for what is now considered by treasonous governments worldwide: a heinous crime: Informing the public, honestly and accurately: telling the truth, which in the past was the recognized and expected duty of any journalist. Now a serious crime punishable by life in solitary confinement. Right Albo? Donald? (What, no comment?)

  9. Another put up job by incompetency and corruption- another he said, she said, allegation that is ludicrous but you can bet that the criminal cabal govt in Australia will back their counterpart in the US-it is obvious they are trumped up charges and to yet another Australian citizen- his family is left destitute not even allowed to sell their home to care for their 6 children- he of course, is in maximum prison so cannot even support his wife -the govt proving once again they will never support their own- I wrote a letter before to that sterling chap in Canberra-it was at least acknowledged and passed on to Dreyfuss but of course no action was taken- this land of Australia is becoming more unrecognisable and I have become a stranger in my own country

  10. ACCORDING TO THE EPOCH TIME

. . . If extradited, Mr. Duggan faces conspiracy charges over allegations he unlawfully exported defence services to China, conspired to defraud the U.S. government, and money laundering. He also faces up to 60 years in prison.

According to a 2017 indictment unsealed by a U.S. District Court in Washington in December 2022, Mr. Duggan provided military training to Chinese pilots through a South African flight school on three occasions in 2010 and 2012, while he was a U.S. citizen.

It is alleged that in 2011 or 2012, Mr. Duggan received either $116,000 or $166,000 for this role. . .

  11. My suggestion is to employ a Justice of the Peace to write a legal order and serve it on a Judge that Duggan be released from prison until his day in Court for him to plead his case.

(You’d be surprised of what a Justice of the Peace can do legally other than to witness signatures seeing they are legally qualified law officers ).

Then have Duggan’s lawyers serve Kevin Rudd ,
Australia’s Ambassador to the Yanks to get stuck into the bastards as only Kevin knows how , to find out what Duggan is being charged with seeing those Chinese pilots were OK by the Australian government who supplied them with their visa’s to attend the school.

  12. Where does one start? In the late 60’s the Brits were training military pilots from all over the Middle East (Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia etc, Singapore, Australia, even a Rhodesian guy during their embargo. Dan Duggan’s only mistake was training them in China & not here.

Right now there would be many Chinese undergoing pilot training in the West but if China needs to update its US defense secrets it just has to send another balloon over.

  13. Well really what do you expect from a government that cannot even help Julian Assange?

Yes, I would agree our government is definitely controlled by foreign powers (and I don’t mean China or Russia either).. this is no longer our Australia.

I hope this mess is sorted out quickly for this man and his family. He must know something they don’t want him to know and speak about? That is usually the case.

  14. This is the kind of dictate, star chamber decisions and inexplicable SH*T that goes on when a state is captured by a foreign and hostile power.

Both the US and Australia are being wired up by the political elites to become part of Great China.

In the US it is the Chinese military aged men pouring across the US Southern border. This is an invasion force being inserted into the country. They are being met by their handlers, given money, cellphones, ID and plane tickets to their destinations. They even have their own hotels. muckraker.com

  15. Once again the Australian courts overstep their authority and jurisdiction and trample on the inalienable rights of an Aussie member of the Commonwealth. They have done the same to Phillip Galea, who is now languishing in prison for 12 years after a supreme court convicted him of nothing more than publishing a book no one has ever read, and replicating some of Tesla’s experiments. They are also attempting to do the same to me, but I am fighting back as hard as I can. Hopefully, I will file an Application for a Constitutional or Other Writ. We do not have a justice system. We have a bunch of lawyer crooks and judges running amok over all our rights and freedoms. It’s time to start convening common law courts. If you agree, email me at mikeh@commonlaw.earth.

  16. Strange, odd, and even stranger for some of us trained Chinese pilots to fly jet aeroplanes right here in Australia at a flying school sanctioned by the Australian government, myself about a thousand of them, and not only that, they were given Australian commercial licences so in theory and even perhaps in practice they could have gone straight back to China and into the Chinese Air Force. One thinks that perhaps this apparently “put up” job is only a method to get the bloke concerned for something else OR is just an exercise in stupidity.
