“Netanyahu declares Holy War against Gaza, citing the Bible”

“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been slammed as calling for ‘a holy war of annihilation’ against the Palestinian people in the besieged Gaza Strip after he invoked the ‘Amalek’, a nation in the Hebrew Bible that the Israelites were ordered to wipe out in an act of revenge. ‘You must remember what Amalek has done to you,’ he said in a speech yesterday announcing the start of a ground invasion in Gaza, adding that Israeli soldiers were part of a legacy that goes back 3,000 years”

My first thought was that Adam Green must have been feeling vindicated with his deep dive into the murky waters of selective religious ideologies.

The comments by commentators on middleeastmonitor are also eyebrow raising.

“The son of Benzion Mileikowsky, who was born in Warsaw, and the grandson of Nathan Mileikowsky, from today’s Belarus, unashamedly refers to ancient stories from the Middle East and adds that Israeli soldiers are part of a legacy that goes back 3,000 years. !?! I mean, he could’ve quoted something from the Marvel comics with the same amount of legitimacy and just added that Israeli soldiers are the new Avengers…”

All things aside, PM Mileikowsky, aka Netanyahu
will not back down now.
He’s all in.
The ‘book of Revelation’ christians must be having a pink fit joining their dots.

Spoiler alert: Neti is claimed to not be Jewish. He comes from a European line that converted to Judaism a few centuries ago.
Nothing to do with any Messianic line.
Just a minor detail.

“Critics have highlighted that the text in the Hebrew Bible which addresses revenge on the Amalek constitutes a narrative of ‘genocide’…’Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.’

Any Politician or Nation who supports this madman needs to see it for what it is and has always been and do something about it, quick smart.
They too, are Amalek (eventually).
