Murdoch media engenders Australian war machine

In the latest escalation in Australia’s increasingly forceful campaign to manufacture consent for war with China, the Murdoch-owned Sky News Australia has aired a jaw-droppingly propagandistic hour-long special which advocates a dramatic increase in the nation’s military spending.
Australians are uniquely vulnerable to propaganda because our nation has the most concentrated media ownership in the western world, the lion’s share of it by Rupert Murdoch, who has well-documented ties to US government agencies going back decades. The propaganda campaign against China has gotten so aggressive here in recent years that I’ve repeatedly had complete strangers start babbling at me about the Chinese threat in casual conversation, completely out of the blue, within minutes of our first meeting each other.
The Sky News special is one of the most brazenly propagandist things I have ever witnessed in any news media, with its opening minutes featuring footage of bayonet-wielding Chinese troops marching while ominous cinematic Bad Guy music plays loudly over the sound of the marching. In its promotional clip for the special, Sky News Australia tinged all footage pertaining to China in red to show how dangerous and communist they are. These are not decisions that are made with the intention of informing the public, these are decisions that are made with the intention of administering war propaganda.

I watched a documentary on Japans Military since the end of the Second World War , they have one of the most sophisticated Military in the World compared this to Australias Military which is nearly non existent thanks to our Traitorous Government and Bureaucrats and these CLOWNS have the hide to threaten CHINA what a joke you lot are . Australians should build national sovereignty and independence on our own continent. If we were doing that, we would be looking for relationships with China that are mutually beneficial. We should know our own interests and look after them and respect the Chinese to look after theirs. It is not in our interest to go to war with China. However if we were strong in our own sovereignty and independence, a nation that brought war to us would quickly find out that such a policy is not in their interest.

Agree with all, but not the nukes. If I have learned anything about fighting, it is: never play by the enemy’s rules, always pick your own terrain for the battle, and always use weapons that favour you and disadvantage the enemy.
China rejected the idea of invading Australia when Indonesia realised the logistic obstacles are massive. So it hit on the idea of non-military invasion. I am surprised a few of our sharper respondents don’t know this but, Tiananmin Square Massacre never happened. It was a pretext for CIA spy Bob Hawke to permit 22,000 Chinese students to stay in Australia while he made them Australian citizens. As such, they were ignored by FIRB and the CCP pumped money to them to buy up Australian land.
China has no intention of attacking Australia. Why would they bomb their own assets? If we are smart, when the US collapses militarily and financially, that is when we kick them out. Then we restore tariffs, rebuild industry and sustainable agriculture, nationalise all oil and gas in our waters. Within four years we would have the strongest economy in the world, That is when we expel all those Chinese who do not regard themselves as Australian.
Because China does not want to nuke its own assets, we do not need nukes. Russian missiles will do just fine.

The Maariv report identified the Israeli defense official as Meir Shalit, and said he apologized to U.S. officials on a recent visit.

In the early 1990s then-CIA Director James Woolsey told a Senate Government Affairs Committee that Israel had been selling U.S. secrets to China for about a decade. I don’t think it wise to support compulsory military service in peace time.
A national defence militia is civilian, separate and not under the command of the Army, until a war breaks out. It is primarily composed of patriots who freely and voluntarily devote their time to defence training and preparedness in case of urgent need.
No one should be forced into defending themselves.

We need China for trade , and they need us for our resources that’s a no brainier , but one thing we do not need China to do to us or any foreign entity is to buy up all of our farms, real estate etc these items should be a no go for them as they are our children’s and grand children’s heritage, our real problem are the muppets in Canberra who have sold us out to foreign interests they are the traitors and the majority of them are career bureaucrats who wouldn’t last 5 seconds in the real world of business and commerce, they are all bought and paid for in my opinion.
China is behaving belligerently in the south china sea no doubt about that, and the immediate neighboring countries are rightly concerned, im my opinion in our country we should be exploring nuclear weapons as a deterrent just like Israel that have them,
we should also explore the options to compulsory recruit and train people into the defense forces, and have them set as-side as reserves like Israel, and to spent a month or so training every year from the age of 18 to 45 a significant part of their lives with incentives. instead of 70 odd thousand in our defense forces we would be able to muster 500 thousand to a million personal quickly with up to date skills.

also I would support any idea that allows these trained personnel to have securely stored at home military assault rifles and ammunition just like Switzerland, with all the checks and balances of course. for all of you that are horrified at this its a better option than being serfs to an occupying power, If an aggressor looked our way they might be deterred knowing this. for those of you that say that will bring on mass shootings and killing innocent people because of these so called nut jobs that have these assault rifles , it might be a revelation to you that the majority of these types of shootings are perpetrated by Governments for gun control, just look at what is happening in WA at the moment in this area. As far as I know, everything you say about Murdoch is true. Same goes for his sons. Still, China has been quietly (and not so quietly) preparing for war for most or all of my 74 years. Belt and Road, appropriating atolls belonging to other nations, claiming sovereignty over the South China Sea, Buying up rare earth minerals all over, lately buying all the gold it can find (ask India who is competing with them for it), and otherwise throwing its weight around. China does not have the ability to cross the 148 miles of open ocean to invade Taiwan. Instead, a more Chinistic (my word) approach would be to build its own chip plants with Taiwanese technology (doing it now) and then nuke or poison the island nation into oblivion. Murdoch will profit from war, make no mistake. And War is an ugly thing. Slavery is uglier. Thank you for pointing out the propaganda, seemingly aimed at Hillary or Biden voters. David Rockefeller did not summon Rupert Murdoch to New York and sponsor him to become an American citizen, on the same day he completed the Trilateral Commission in 1973, just so that he could operate a sycophantic media.
He did this because he had planned to do this for some years, because he had already identified Murdoch as the person best equipped to succeed him as the leader of the investment banker alliance… knowledgeable, powerful, ruthless, and a fellow Zionist… because he also knew the key to global takeover is total media control. Control the media and you control everybody’s thoughts.
The conclusion is obvious, we need to close down the MSM. I doubt that can be achieved without military help. Yet not one post here has been from ADF. We are in trouble.

I don’t watch Sky News but did see a comment on line 2 days ago where they were calling Putin a dictator & thug etc. in other words 100% on board with the US/Western narrative that’s been sheepily followed by Oz – and the Oz taxpayer’s $$$, whether the TP likes it or not.
So I responded with a very mild, non-abusive comment putting a moderately stated different pov (didn’t get into Minsk, Nord stream, Nazis, NATO/US belligerence etc) but the comment was CENSORED!
Sky News has gone to the dogs but what’s new? ALL the MSM follow the official line. I used to be a bit of a news junky, radio & tv but now just listen to 10-15 mins of the main news on sbs at 6.30 (to ascertain if we’ve been led/forced into war/suicide yet) then switch off. My sanity is intact and I recommend it. Real news now comes from alt media.
