The local councils stamp out the farmers markets and the chance for farmers to go direct and avoiding the middleman which is BlackRock for Coles and Woolworths. The councillors are all hoping for nice jobs with the developers and their business associations. Dr Andy Schmulow should be in jail under section 120 of the Constitution. I hope we do get a change of government after 3 May 2025 then people like Dr Andy Schmulow will be in jail.
If a large proportion of Dr Schmulow’s recommendations have been adopted, this tells me he is not recommending many of the most important changes needed in Australia’s increasingly bad system of governance. For one example, the whole tax system needs to be replaced, not just tinkered with.
