PROMINENT political podcaster Bret Weinstein, (pictured left) in the aftermath of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, has issued a public call for Trump to pick Robert F. Kennedy Jnr as his Vice President.
Weinstein believes it would be a positive move towards American national unity and act as “assassination insurance”. Trump, in the wake of the assassination attempt, called for Secret Service protection for RFK Jnr. Biden did the same and it was granted, raising some awkward questions about whether they can actually provide it.
RFK Jnr himself did not respond directly to Weinstein’s call but posted on X that he had met with Trump on the Monday morning after the shooting: “Lots of rumors going around about my meeting this morning with President Trump. Our main topic was national unity, and I hope to meet with Democratic leaders about that as well. No, I am not dropping out of the race,” he said.
Weinstein’s call was backed by fellow podcaster Russell Brand, independent journalists Lara Logan, Dave Rubin and others. Weinstein says the United States is in a dire crisis of division and corruption of institutions, such as the weaponisation of courts to knock Trump out of the presidential campaign.
Choosing Kennedy, a Democrat, as his running mate would in effect create a bipartisan but still strongly populist White House, a move that would be highly unpopular with both the Republican and Democrat entrenched political establishment and globalist deep state.
Kennedy is considered “too left wing” by Republicans and even his own party, but in reality he is more anti-globalist and anti-corporate, having fought big pharmaceutical companies for years over their unsafe vaccines. Trump has been condemned over his support for mRNA vaccines but was acting on the advice of Fauci and others. He tried to promote alternatives but was basically shouted down in the midst of the manufactured Covid hysteria.
Both oppose the long-standing deep state/military industrial complex policy of running endless foreign wars and tend towards a more nationalist and economically protectionist America.
“What we need to do is un-rig our system and refound the Republic,” says Weinstein. “President Trump, the country needs you to join forces with Bobby Kennedy and name hims as your Vice Presidential running mate. And Bobby, the country needs you to accept.”
Weinstein says there is wisdom in the move because “maybe, most importantly, it creates a kind of assassination insurance. If you run independently and they take you out, they solve a problem from their perspective. If you run together, they only make their problems worse.”
Referring to the 1963 and 1968 assassinations of JFK and Bobby Kennedy Snr, Weinstein said the nation suffered two great traumas, and that pattern threatened to repeat itself on Saturday with the attempt on Trump.
He said that Trump, by enabling RFK Jnr to “carry the torch” at the end of his second four-year term, would break that pattern and restore the founders’ vision of the democratic This is a really clear and cogent call for Trump to choose RFK for VP.

Weinstein, responding to some negative feedback to his message, said “If you wish that the assassin had killed President Trump, your values are indefensible. If you think that Trump’s team might have orchestrated this, your ability to reason has failed you.”

1. The ALLEGED “shooter”, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was situated (and killed) on an elevated rooftop approx. 130 yards from the target (Ie, Mr. Trump).
2. Mr. Mike Adams aka the Health Ranger analysed the AUDIO record of the attack BEFORE the full details of the incident were broadcast by various news services, and determined that the fired bullets originated approx. 137 yards from the target.
3. Kim Iversen reported allegations that the ALLEGED “shooter” Thomas Matthew Crooks was refused gun club membership because his markmanship was so poor (ie, he couldn’t hit the side of a barn).
4. A remarkable photo alleging the actual bullet in flight adjacent to Mr. Trump’s head has a LEVEL trajectory which some people have suggested proves that the ACTUAL shooter was NOT Thomas Matthew Crooks situated on an elevated rooftop, but someone firing from an elevation equivalent to the stage on which Mr. Trump was standing.
5. Kim Iversen echoed allegations that there was a sniper team located in one of the buildings NEXT to the very building on which the ALLEGED “shooter” Thomas Matthew Crooks was perched, 130 yards from the target.
