Great Keppel Island’s name is under attack from Queensland Labor and we need your help to protect our heritage.
The government plans to change its name to ‘Woppa,’ an Indigenous name. Please sign our petition to stop this change going ahead.
The name Great Keppel Island belongs to all Australians, and we don’t think it’s right to change a name without the support of locals.
Great Keppel represents an iconic destination for domestic and international tourists and the home for a number of permanent residents.
Any move by the Queensland Government to rename Great Keppel Island to ‘Woppa’ would harm the location’s tourism potential. It will also perpetuate racial division and separatism in Australia.
Labor has already changed the name of Fraser Island (K’gari). If they get away with removing ‘Great Keppel’, which iconic community will have their name changed next? Will it be yours?

The term ‘Aborigine’ was commonly used up until about the 1960s but is now generally regarded as outdated and inappropriate. This is in part because ‘Aborigine’ is a noun, while ‘Aboriginal’ is an adjective sometimes employed as a noun”.
Well G666gle if it’s mainly an adjective why did you capitalise it. Why is it outdated when it’s the same word with a slightly different ending. Why is one OK as an occasional noun and the other isn’t OK as an occasional adjective.
As shown in the video I linked to there seems to be something fishy going on here and it seems to involve government lawyers, and I think we all know what their objectives are, that is, to make us work and pay for their stolen “Royal Estate” then when we’ve all paid top dollar for all of it they want to steal it back again. They did it before, if you don’t think they will do it again you’re crazy. They will send your kids overseas to be shot at too, for reasons you cannot even fathom. These government lackeys are lower than sea slugs’ arseholes.

May I also contribute this fact or what I believe to be a fact, that this magical land Australia is far older, eons more ancient than what our current historians tell us. To say that one group of people were the ‘first’ onto this beautiful continent is to remain ignorant of the true history of our spherical home in which so many cultures and civilisations have thrived and come and gone in the blink of an an eye. Those that we call the elites know full well this and so this has remained hidden from us. To elevate one group among all others and call it real history is to ignore truth much hidden from public knowledge so to further some specific agendas. Civilisations have always come and gone and we are all just the latest in a long list of beings that have peopled this ancient world from time immemorial, none more special than the other.

a rule went around that you are not allowed to say Aborigines anymore, you have to say Aboriginals, and it is connected to the birth certificate corporatisation of everything. I remember it being implemented some decades ago in terms of “respecting” Aborigines now known as First Nations Peoples. So why is everyone saying Aboriginals like a bunch of muppets.
