A new study published by Cambridge University Press suggests that wearing a mask may be associated with an increased risk of Covid infection.
From the study,
The crude estimates show a higher incidence of testing positive for COVID-19 in the groups that used face masks more frequently. … The risk was 1.74 (1.38 to 2.18) times higher in those who wore face masks often or sometimes, compared to participants who reported never or almost never wore masks.
In other words, individuals who always or almost always wear face masks have a 75% higher risk of testing positive for COVID-19 than those who never or almost never wear masks.
It’s important to note that these are crude estimates, and other factors may influence the observed differences in risk. But still, this is damning data for any advocate of mask mandates, particularly following the recent German study on the dangers of rebreathing carbon dioxide.
During the early months of the pandemic, I wrote often on the ineffectiveness of wearing masks and the even more troubling social conditioning taking place that threatened our individual freedoms. I wrote this in 2020:
“The scientific usefulness of a mask has been so aggressively overstated, and the foundational importance of the Constitution has been so aggressively understated, that we have normalized people screaming obscenities at each other while hiking.
Not wearing a mask is not mere ‘personal choice’ – like deciding between a head covering or a t-shirt. It is a flashpoint for being a free human being who has consented to be governed but has not consented to be ruled. We do not consent to a masked America, because that is a fundamental change in American society, culture, norms, and rights.”
The above is an example of freedom-based leadership in opposition to a government hell-bent on a power grab. The government presented manipulated data to create widespread fear – which encouraged citizens to voluntarily give up their freedoms. We need leaders whose starting point is supporting the Constitution – and who then use dispassionate reasoning to arrive at sane policies.

Irene Laird, I asked a lady not long ago why was she was still wearing a mask, apparently she had a medical condition (can’t recall what it was) and didn’t want to spread it while working behind the counter; so we have to cater for those honourable people 🙂
BUT I have read that breathing in your own dead cells that you breath out, causes irreversible organ damage.

I recently read that people who are still wearing masks now, have a mental illness and need therapy. I feel sorry for them. At the Dental Surgery I go to, the reception staff are “still” wearing masks. They have gone from happy positive people to one’s that don’t seem happy and don’t look that well. All these years of reduced intake of oxygen while breathing in higher levels of carbon dioxide will do that.

I tested the masks when my elderly mother was in hospital on their oxygen saturation machine. Mask On, her 02 sats were 92% Off 97%. Reducing oxygen intake by 5% takes the patient from healthy to sick especially at that age. I have thought about wearing my mask on my forehead next time they ‘insist’ with NO written on it but just wont bother with them if ordered. I wont be paying any fines either as the science is in on it. Funny masks increase the chance of testing + for covid, what a bonus for the mRNA corporations. The jabs were about profit never health in fact the opposite as they kill and maim.

Myself and my wife have been hospitals for operations since May 2023. Many wear masks but no doctors do. Hmmm What does that say?

The masks don’t stop Covid passing through them because the holes in the masks are much bigger than the Covid virus or bacteria. If mask holes were virus size, everyone would suffocate.
The purpose of the masks was to scare everyone into having their “Experimental Test Vaccines” while the vaccine makers have 100% indemnity from prosecution for whatever the vaccines do to the vaccinated, them.

Simple Covid cure, confirmed by Alberta University experiments too – worked for me these past 30 years never ill from anything.
Mix one heaped teaspoon of salt in a mug of warm water, cup a hand and sniff or snort the lot up your nose, spitting out anything which comes down into your mouth. If burning sensation (2-3 minutes), you have a virus, so do 3 times daily or more often, until sensation goes away and it feel like you are flushing with plain water, job done. When burning ceases, blow out your nose with toilet paper and flush away, washing your hands afterwards – or go down the beach and sniff sea water instead – probably good for Long Covid too as it washes behind the eyes, escutcheon tubes to inner ears, brain stem, brain bulb, but don’t tell Biden, he has invested US$1.9 Billion trying to do the same thing with vaccines. Interestingly, the beaches were closed during the Covid scare weren’t they?
The use of these masks to stop the spread of pathogen is akin to using a sheet of concrete reinforcing mesh as a door screen in an attempt to keep mosquitoes out. its lunacy at the extreme.
