South Africa, Russia, China stage joint military exercise

SA Defence and Military Veterans Minister, Thandi Modise, says she is confident that the multinational maritime exercise between BRICS members South Africa, Russia and China that finishes today will benefit all three participating nations.

“The envisaged exercise will benefit all countries involved through interoperability of the naval systems, joint disaster systems management enhancement, maritime cooperation and anti-piracy exercises.”

In addition, she said the event known as Exercise Mosi II, will serve as a platform for the three nations to share operational skills, expertise and experience.

The maritime exercise will be held in Durban and Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal.

One of the few patriots left who understands the system and how it has been totally subverted under every citizen's nose. If we can help to turn it around we will, otherwise our children will have nothing. Our investigations show there is no 'government' of the people for the people of Australia. The removal of the Crown from Australian Parliaments, followed by the incorporation of Parliaments aided by the Australia Act 1987 has left us with corporate government with policies not laws, that apply only to members of political parties and the public service. There is no law, other than the Common Law. This fact will be borne out in the near future as numerous legal challenges in place now, come to a head soon.

  3. If anything, China’s cataloguing of American war crimes is quite conservative. Compared to the insanities uttered by Biden, Pompeo, and Blinkin, the Chinese are presenting as sober and deliberate. This does not bode well for the US.

America points to the 140 nations that side with the US, but this ignores the reality that this support comes from politicians bought and owned by the US. The people of these countries are a different entity altogether. In Australia, the last time I surveyed, 61% reluctantly support the US alliance but only because they believe the Murdoch media that tells them America protects them from dangerous and hostile nations to the north. In fact, the only nation that threatens Australia militarily is the US itself.

31% of Australians want the US out. It seems that this percentage is rising and once it reaches 40%, politicians will not be able to maintain the pretence of a beneficial relationship.

The most significant aspect of the US military presence is that it will drag us into WWIII, a comment made on several occasions by former PM Malcolm Fraser. The US war plan against China, the 2015 Rand Report acknowledges the critical injury to Australia but dismisses this as “acceptable collateral damage”.

I guess this kinda makes us the dumbest nation in history.

  4. In the university city where I am, the young Chinese and African students appear to be making strong bonds with each other.

Whilst the Europeans are out partying, these youngsters are seen to be developing close friendships, and quite possibly, – future partnerships.

These young adults are the future, – in whatever form it takes.

  5. Looks like the Chinese have momentarily set aside their visceral hatred for blacks in their quest for world domination. I am just surprised they did not include Brazil and India (or maybe they were invited and declined), so that the BRICS coalition becomes a military as well as economic alliance. Brazil-Russia-India-China-South Africa is not ABOUT to become the World Reserve Currency. It already is.
