Stop making fun of people who are asleep. God has given us the gift of awareness. We need to wear that gift with humble gratitude.

I love it. It reminds me of when I was a rouse -a -bout , out White Cliffs way.When it was time for mulesing and we;d run the sheep in to the pen , or at shearing time.
I was not sure how to spell mulesing ( still not ). But I found another word fits this theme.
mulct, verb , to deprive a person of something, either by punishment or trickery. ( Latin, Multare , to punish, ).
Seems to fit the bill.
