THE New Testament book of Revelation continues to this day to be a subject of controversy between various theological and eschatalogical (prophecy teaching) positions.
One major controversy is the dating of the book, which is divided into two camps. The first says it was written by the Apostle John around 95AD under the Roman Emperor Domitian. The second says it was written circa AD66 under the Emperor Nero.
Another major controversy is whether Revelation is historically fulfilled (preterism) or focused on future unfolding prophecy (futurism).
Bible teacher Bruce W. Gore, M.A., J.D., from Spokane, Washington, says it was likely written by the John on the Island of Patmos early in the era of the persecution of Christians under Nero and outlines his case
Gore has has been teaching Bible history and theology from the perspective of the Reformed Tradition for 50 years and served on the adjunct faculty of Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington for more than 30 years, while maintaining a private practice in trial law.

One item that’s garnered some attention is the so-called Grand Solar Minimum now rapidly approaching, which assorted scientists have been warning will precipitate some sort of Ice Age in the coming decades. Word on the street is that if true, then that should really start to bite around 2030 or thereabouts, the cooling trend will become too obvious to hide by then. Depending on how the cycles pan out, we might see just a couple of decades of deathly frigid famine, or it could go on for centuries or more.

Another speculation relates to the Old Testament passage which warns that “the Sun will shine seven-fold, and the Moon will be as the Sun”. Some boffins allege that refers to the Sun flaring up, going “Mini-Nova” all of a sudden, which depending on who you talk to could be anything from catastrophic to absolutely emphatically unremittingly unmitigatingly devastating for Planet Earth, to the extent that the oceans facing the Sun during the event might literally be flash-boiled and the land scorched to a crisp. One might hope to be on the night-side at the time, and pray that the flare-up has subsided by the time the cock crows and the Sun rises, otherwise that cock ain’t gonna crow and there’ll be hard boiled eggs and lots of fried chicken in the hen house.

Binary stars are very common in our Milky Way galaxy, making up a large portion of all star systems.
So if our solar system is a binary star system, where is the other Sun?
To say that if we cannot see it with our eyes yet means that it doesn’t exist is Head in the Sand thinking.
It would be more than a little naive to think that if cyclical Comets can come and go in and out of the Solar System why wouldn’t Binary Sun’s?

BUT it seems a little naive, perhaps even flippant, to talk about something “entering the solar system” on a schedule measured in weeks, as though there’s some black and white delineation of such an event. The solar system is a really really REALLY big place from our vantage point perched here on tiny little Earth, inconceivably HUGE in fact, and what most of us are conceptualising as the “solar system” is just the PLANAR DISK that most of the orbiting bodies seem to occupy, never mind the STUPENDOUS VOLUME of the vacuous SPHERE subject to diminishing influence of Old Sol as we travel further and further out into the general emptiness of interstellar space beyond the trajectory of the known planetary detritus circling our little star.

Jupiter takes 12 YEARS to do one trip around the Sun, Saturn takes 30 years, one Uranus orbit is 84 years, Neptune’s year is 165 Earth years, and poor little scrawny -arsed dwarf planet Pluto takes 248 years to complete one orbit around the Sun. And FWIW, Halley’s Comet has a very elliptical orbit, with its perihelion INSIDE Venus’path and its aphelion on the far side of Neptune’s orbit, and it takes 76 years to do one full circuit.

So how long will it take for the “second sun” to get close enough to do some damage AFTER everyone already knows it’s coming? Because we can SEE Pluto way out there in Neverland and even stuff BEYOND that, so no way we’re NOT gonna see a SECOND SUN coming before it gets anywhere NEAR the outer periphery of the known planetary bodies. Sort of like sitting on a train track with a good pair of binoculars, watching a steam train coming down the mountain 20 miles away. At what point do we say that it has “entered the solar system”? And what time frame, what temporal precision, might be plausible for THAT revelation, in a projected hypothesised orbital period measured in THOUSANDS OF YEARS?

Well for starters, I’d like to see Mr Holt explain to us in precise detail how those goat herders moved the 1500-2000 ton dressed stones at Baalbek?, or how the Egyptians effortlessly shuffled around 10 ton granite sarcophagus within extremely enclosed chambers? [modern engineers can’t even replace the 2 ton lids they managed to move in the 19 cent], or how the Egyptian craftsmen could carve a lump of the hardest granite into hollowed out urns where even modern drills cannot execute the interior horizontal hollowing out via the 1 inch neck opening, not even crudely, let alone with perfect precision and no signs of tooling? They can’t even get the drill piece in!

The last book I read was the book Tony Tassie recommended, World’s in Collision by Velikovsky.
As he said it looks like the book was highly censored.
But it gives a good description of what happened eons ago.

In this day and age the popular atheist idea of “an old book written thousands of years ago by ignorant goat herders who had none of the information we have today” doesn’t really hold water. Firstly biblical archaeology going back to Lady Hester Stanhope’s non-scientific treasure-seeking excavation at Ashkelon in 1815, reveals the historical accuracy of many biblical stories. In more recent times, biblical archaeology expeditions have continued to confirm biblical accounts such as Joshua’s destruction of Jericho. A large body of creation scientists has also produced voluminous evidence supporting the account of Noah and a global flood catastrophe. As for “goat herder authors”, the only writer who fits that definition would be David the sheep herder, who became the famous king of the Hebrews. Other writers came from diverse backgrounds (kings, prophets, fishermen, and scholars) who wrote over a span of about 1500 years.

RE: BRUCE W. GORE’S INTERPRETATION OF THE REVELATION (CAIRNS NEWS STATED THAT GORE’S 65 (66?) A.D. DATE FOR THE REVELATION IS OUTLINED IN THE ARTICLE – IT ISN’T. HE DID NOT PROVIDE A SHRED OF EVIDENCE FOR IT!)
Far from ‘outlining his case’ in the video presented, Bruce Gore spent almost the whole of his lecture making a great show of his extensive understanding and memory of the history of 1st Century Rome and Jerusalem, with hardly any relevant reference to Scripture at all.
What he did mention of Scripture rightly supported the fact that Matthew 24 (‘The Olivet Discourse’) applied to the generation Jesus spoke to at the time. As for The Revelation, nothing relevant was given.
Gore contradicted himself on dates: Early in the lecture he said The Revelation was written in 65 A.D.; further on, he spoke of the death of Paul etc. being 66-67 A.D., and that The Revelation was written around that time.
In his introduction, Gore mentioned that his view (of an early – 65 A.D. – date for The Revelation) was not really common in Church history but it could be found in some commentators. We KNOW this, and far from being a support for his quaint view, it tends to ring alarm bells, pointing to it as something other than “all truth” which the Holy Ghost led the whole Church into, according to Christ. Not to mention, that no doctrine is established by any consensus of men’s opinions, but by Scripture alone, as all those of Reformed understanding agree.
Interestingly, the author is big on knowledge and history, but light on Scripture – not what you’d expect among the Reformed. It’s also interesting that he was already a seasoned ‘teacher’ before he ever taught on The Revelation, and when he did, he decided to teach it because he did not understand it! He was also a lawyer – maybe that’s what lawyers do (make rulings on things they don’t understand)?
Scripture requires that every “bishop” (i.e. elder/pastor/teacher) must be “apt to teach” (1 Timothy 3:2, 2 Timothy 2:24), but this lawyer-lecturer was a popular teacher before he had any idea how to understand The Revelation – this is a contradiction! “Pastors and teachers” (Ephesians 4:11) teach Scripture – they do not add a verse or two to their grandiose theories. Theories are forbidden in the ministry, even if the whole Church follows them. Rome follows ‘tradition’ and variation; Bible believers do not! The Westminster Confession 1646 is the best example of this – all of Britain verified that Confession as Bible doctrine in parliament in 1647!
Nor is the great mind of this lawyer rational, when it comes to reading Scripture:
1. He quotes a modern Bible ‘version’ – not the Authorised Version, which has proven itself and has been received by the Church as God’s Words for over 400 years, like so many ‘experts’, who cannot accept the basic fact that all modern ‘bibles’ since the spurious ‘Revision’ of 1881 are not revisions, but mutilations of Scripture (including mutilations of the underlying Greek & Hebrew texts). To reject plain facts on this most basic doctrine (The Doctrine of Scripture), shows not a lack of understanding but a lack of conscience! And it is a departure from The Westminster Confession’s doctrine of Scripture (the First Chapter & first point of essential doctrine on which the Faith is established), which all Presbyterians are ‘supposed’ to believe. This anti-Biblical concept denies the very Words of the prophets that stated God would preserve every word of Scripture to all generations for ever! Those who reject the King James Bible and its underlying texts have already decided that God has not kept or preserved His Words, and base all their study on the wicked, evolutionary idea, that Scripture is being improved by being continually changed! Nor do they admit that it is Popery that has been behind all these manipulations of the Scriptures – even ‘The Bible Society’ changed its rules to admit Papists into its membership. You have to be living under a (Papal) rock not to know this! (The other possibility is that you are a Papal plant, of which there are many).
2. He ignores the plain prohibition of private interpretation of Scripture: 2 Peter 1:20, “no prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation.” His whole lecture is private interpretation: he does not give proof from Scripture.
3. He is a popular speaker, who gives credence to all sorts of opposite ‘views’. Popular ministries are a foreign concept to the apostolic Church – in fact Paul forbids it and calls it “carnal” (1 Corinthians 3), but they multiply like blowflies today, especially in America. None of God’s prophets or apostles were popular – they all suffered persecution. “All that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12). Not one apostle was a popular ‘conference speaker’! Eleven of the twelve met violent deaths for simply teaching the Truth and standing on Scripture as God’s very Words. (There is hardly a Presbyterian today who does this – all follow Rome’s scholars and new (per)versions of Scripture.)
Lest any critic should quip, “Don’t just find fault – show us the answer!”, here it is, very simply, in language any child with a Primary School education can understand – FROM SCRIPTURE ALONE:
1. The Revelation is a series of visions, each beginning more or less with the first advent of Christ and ending with His second advent, resurrection, and judgment of the quick and dead. It is NOT preterist (of past events) or futurist (of distant future events). It is not primarily about historical events at all, except that it’s about Christ, and all that pertains to His kingdom. It says so in the opening verses of Chapter 1. In short, The Revelation is spiritual, i.e. it is Gospel.
2. The Revelation was written to the Church of the 1st Century AND all the Church till the end of time: Revelation 1, “1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. 4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: …”
• It is The Revelation of Jesus Christ, not of historical events, past or future!
• It had immediate effect for the Church (“shortly come to pass”; “the time is at hand”), yet it also covers the return of Christ – i.e. it spans the entire Christian era, till Christ comes at the end of the world. It is a spiritual overview of the Church in the world and in heaven, as well as the persecution of the Church by the Roman Antichrist – there is no other explanation which does not violate Scripture somewhere. Any other explanation is contradictory, even in The Revelation, let alone other Scriptures.
• It is written in symbolic language (“signified”).
• It is a spiritual book written to the Church (spiritual in meaning – i.e. gospel, not worldly): to the seven churches.
• Both the first and second chapter of The Revelation say, “the time is at hand” (1:3 & 22:10). That is, the time of the prophecy is “at hand” always, in every generation, right till the return of Christ.
• While there were seven churches of Asia, the number seven ‘signifies’ that The Revelation applies to the whole Church in every age – if it didn’t, we would have very little Scripture prophecy which was written to the Christian Church over the whole course of its history. All prophecy is about Christ; all prophecy is for the comfort of His Church; The Revelation particularly– “Blessed is he that readeth…” i.e. all who read it, not a particular generation.
• The “fourth beast” and the “little horn” which rose out of it (Daniel 7) are the Pagan Roman Empire & the Papacy – the whole Church has known this for over 1,500 years – Revelation confirms Daniel’s beast. This is just so plain that only Papists and those who follow their Jesuit scholars disagree with this. The ‘alternative views’ including both ‘Futurism’ & ‘Praeterism’ are Jesuit Counter-Reformation works (of Francisco Ribera & Luis De Alcazar).
• All this is gleaned directly from The Revelation itself, especially the first and last chapters.

Seriously? In this day and age I find it difficult to understand why anyone would place any faith in an old book written thousands of years ago by ignorant goat herders who had none of the information we have today. When will mankind stop believing in fairy stories?
Produced in 1961 by the French publisher, Joseph Foret, the specially commissioned ‘L’Apocalypse de Saint Jean’ constitutes the world’s most expensive book. As a unique one-off edition, it was sold to a collectors consortium for $1,000,000 [a hefty sum in those days]. Prior to being deposited in a Swiss bank vault, where it currently remains, the book was displayed in a glass bubble and exhibited around the world. The book is now limited to private viewings by its shareholders and their friends. These people know.

Those familiar with medieval and renaissance art pertinent to these important but hidden matters, will no doubt understand the symbolism and meaning behind the book’s specially commissioned artworks.

Among those assigned to the task, Salvador Dali’s artworks stand prominent. The symbolism within his works serve as a continuation of the western European esoteric art tradition dating from the medieval and renaissance era. Dali’s distinctly thematic works provide a clearly defined exposition of the historical events portrayed and discussed in the Book of Revelation. In sum, the finale event of the Book of Acts now carried over into the Book of Revelation. This particular historical continuum was conveyed via the most important of Dali’s commissioned paintings, which he completed in 1960, a year before the book’s publication: namely, – ‘The Life of Mary Magdalene.’

Those familiar with this two thousand year historical tradition can easily pinpoint the earliest and first ever mention of this particular event. It was first recorded by John Boanerges in his Book of Revelation. The entry date was A.D. 44.

Although none of this really matters anymore, it is still extremely interesting from a historical standpoint, especially those conveyed via the Western European esoteric literary and art traditions.

This is called Preterism, The theory that all Revelation was completed by 70AD. The father of Preterism is the Spanish Jesuit priest Luis de Alcázar (1554–1613), not Manuel de Lacunza. It was developed to take the focus off the pope as preached by all Bible Believing Christians since 538AD, The Reformers and all Protestant preachers down to Spurgeon circa 1900.
The other false theory is Futurism, ie, Dispensationalism (Hal Lindsey) that Revelation developed by Manuel de Lacunza and Francisco Ribera, both Jesuit priests. The theory postures that all Revelation will be fulfilled after a fake Rapture 7 years before the end.
Both were developed by Jesuit priests to take the heat off the Pope. The books got into the hands of Pommie cultists; Irving-Darby-PlymouthBretheren-Scofield-Chafer-DallasTheoLogicalSeminary(DTS) and most of the non-Catholic Christian world has fallen to these false doctrines.
Since that Tony Tassie fellow wrote here about the second Sun being due early in 2031, I decided to look into it.
It fits all criteria of the writings in Revelations being that if a second Sun exists, and it would be cyclical, and that would explain all of the many civilisations being wiped out over the many millenia of Earth’s past.
Revelations would then be seen as a warning for future cycles.
If you take the Riders on the Horses to represent different Comets then the one to look for preceding the actual second Sun’s arrival you could look at the Rider on the Pale Horse.
The original Greek text says that that particular rider is on a sickly green horse not pale ( so it would be a Green Comet)
Comet Wierzchoś (C/2024 E1): This city-sized comet made a close approach to Earth in February 2026. It captured global attention for its striking emerald-green coma.
So looking at the orbital parameters of Comet, C/2014 UN271, it looks to be that around the 15th of August if it is the second Sun, it should light up in the southern skies despite what NASA says.
So we’ll have to wait a few more weeks to see if Tassie Tony was correct.
This would indeed fit with all of the Wars and rumours of wars predicted.
Also it would explain the wef’s 2030 business.
And all of the so-called bunkers the big wigs have been building.
The Christ story maybe talking about a cross (christ) type of arrangement involved with the second Sun.
No doubt that this type of event would involve God and or the Souls here on Earth.

As the Roman Emperor according to Talmudic legend Nero allegedly converted to Talmudic Judaism. Everyone knows that rather than as a matter of faith or divine conviction ‘converts’ historically converted to other religions primarily as a means of preserving or enhancing their assets and power. So you can’t trust Nero. And you can also probably guess whose interests he was looking after when he was happy to fiddle while the Christians in Rome ‘burned’.
After studying the Bible and the listening to the interpretations of great and small scholars, pastors and other Christians (and fake Christians) over the last 40 years, I finally grasp that the WHOLE Bible points to Christ (not the nation of Israel) and God’s final judgement of Israel in AD 70.
Why have I come to this conclusion?
There are two specific verses about the “return” of Christ.
The first can be found in when Jesus says to Pilate in John 18:36 “My kingdom is not of this world”
And the second in Revelation 1:6 and 5:10 when the word of God addresses the church “… you were made to be a kingdom of priests to our God”.
These statements are clear. They are emphatic.
When we ponder on what He said about His kingdom we are correct to interpret that He is talking about a spiritual kingdom. And we are also correct to say that His kingdom was not to be then but some time in the future from then.
But that some time in the future still meant it was NOT “of this world”. By this we know that He was referring to the fact that His kingdom would NEVER be on THIS physical earth.
Again, He is saying He would never bring his kingdom back to this world at any time then, or in the future from then. So, where was His kingdom to be? When would it be?
John’s vision in Revelation says clearly that a NEW heaven and a NEW earth would be the basis of His kingdom. Most definitely NOT on this earth.
Which begs the question, why today do most Christians in the West think Jesus is bringing His kingdom back to Jerusalem in today’s Israel, so that our Lord will rule in a physical rebuilt temple for a thousand years?
Especially when Jesus describes His body as the temple of God, NOT a physical temple built by man.
And, is not His body the Church? What has that got to do with a physical rebuilt temple in Jerusalem? These are spiritual matters He is talking about.
Because these are spiritual matters, it stands to reason that today’s ethnic physical Israel are NOT God’s chosen people. But that it is His (metaphorical) body that is is a spiritual gathering of believers, and who are His chosen.
As His chosen church is a “kingdom of priests” as stated in our quoted second verses in Revelation we also know that OUR kingdom is also not of this world.
Hermeneutics (the study that demands scripture interprets scripture) demands we must REVIEW the idea of a literal one thousand year millennium, where it is thought that Christ returns to THIS world bringing His Kingdom with Him, sometime in the near future.
A much discussed historical church position is that Matthew 24 is about the Great Tribulation of AD70 and Christ returning THEN in Gods judgement on a wicked Israel, ushering in the end of the Old Covenant through the destruction of the Temple, and the final establishment of the New Covenant when EVERYTHING was accomplished.
On His coming: He came once (the first time) as a child and young man, crucified on the cross for our sins. He came again (the second time) when He was resurrected. And the aforementioned discussion showing that His Kingdom is not of this world makes sense with the historical position that He came again (the third time) in AD70 in judgement of apostate Israel.
Does He need to come a fourth time? Should not we go to the King instead, NOW?
And, for further thought, if we acknowledge that the demonic realm exists now AGAINST us, then can we not also acknowledge that the Kingdom of God exists now FOR us?
Brothers we can come NOW directly to His throne, which is existing NOW in the “New” heaven and earth which has overcome this earth already in an extra earthly dimension we cannot physically see yet. Why wait in vain for His so called “second” coming? He has already come three times! It’s time for us to go to the King, rather than Him going to our rescue again.
Can we consider that the dead in Christ have already risen? Do we believe that our deceased bretheren are in the new heaven now? And do we believe that non believers are already in Hell, or do we in error think that they are dead waiting for a future judgement?
Surely, NOW is the day of salvation for us who believe. Judgement already made. And NOW is the day of condemnation for those who do not. Judgement already made. And, surely Gods judgement wrath is (present tense) being revealed now against all unrighteousness.
I am certain we who are alive will eventually be “caught up in the clouds” to go the same way as all deceased in Christ, to be with Him forever more!

The Book of Revelation was written by John the Apostle, i.e. John Boanerges of Zebedee. Although the clergy generally teach that the sequential weddings within the Book of Revelation are symbolic of Christ’s marriage to the Church. The fact remains, that when John wrote the text on Patmos, there was no Church. He knew absolutely nothing about an establishment that evolved after his own lifetime.

As a natural continuation of Jesus’s preceding biography, the Book of Revelation was chronologically ordered to follow the Acts of the Apostles. As such, the events surrounding the life of Jesus and the Messianic Royal Family are those that occurred after the last events as presented in Acts. As the book’s title implies, the work refers to a joyous ‘revelation’ of the continuation of the Royal House of David [albeit, in heavy allegorical code].

The whole Nero thing was dreamed up back in the day, they didn’t know what they were talking about, someone is always preaching “repent the end is nigh”, they come and go. The popes hat VICARIVS FILIUS DEI I think it reads, adds up neatly to 666 “for those who have wisdom”, also supports all the theories or conspiracy facts that the Catholic has a dark side. Pope has a changing room called “crying room”, of course there is more than one explanation for that. If some popes are bad what chance the Revelations is not adulterated. Another item that caught my attention was Nostradamus’s “milky rain weapon”, and I read about that long before learning about DEWs or having weather manipulations rebadged as ClimateChange. Nostradamus is Euro-centric so I wonder who is going to cop the milky rain weapon, maybe anyone who looks like storming Swissyland’s borders en masse. There is so much bio-tech and weapons development that is going to be sped up by AI systems, it’s going to be mind boggling, I hope I am not too much inconvenienced.

The Bible is the plan of God from the creation to the kingdom of God. It explains the hows, whys, and wherefores, and prophecy is one of the vehicles in that explanation. Most prophecies concentrate on the ‘end times’ or the transition from the current state of satanic/human control back to Divine rulership. That transition stage is a time of judgment during which both Satan and unrepentant evil human beings will be removed from the scene. The book of Revelation is an integral part of those ‘end time’ prophecies and has to be read with the book of Daniel and the prophecies of Jesus Christ (Olivet prophecy, etc.). Otherwise, Revelation makes no sense. Admittedly, in Daniel and Revelation there is symbolism, but the Bible explains the symbols to those who look. Unfortunately, in the Christian world there seems to be no shortage of theories, most of which are based on personal hypotheses or plain lack of research and understanding. It is worth noting, however, two things regarding prophecies. Firstly God said to Daniel:
“Go thy way Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.” (Daniel 12:9).
And secondly, it is the author of the prophecies, our Creator God, who opens the mind to understanding. So, if you want to know what’s going to happen, He’s the one to ask.
