Another view of the Bondi Beach shooting attack

Cairns News does not hold a definitive opinion of this attack either way but when taking into account the veracity of photographs of ‘bloodied’ Israeli crisis actor and probable Mossad agent, Arsen Ostrovsky it casts doubt on the entire event.

Arsen Ostrovsky(above), head of the Australia/Israel & Jewish Affairs Council Sydney office and long-time contributor to The Jerusalem Post, was among those wounded in the mass shooting at a Hanukkah event at Bondi Beach in Sydney on Sunday evening, December 14, 2025.

In the aftermath of the massacre, Ostrovsky spoke to a TV news crew on the Bondi foreshore.

“I survived October 7th,” he told them. “I lived in Israel the last 13 years. We came here only two weeks ago.”

Cairns News editors on December 15, the day after the shooting, had taken the incident at face value, until a bloodied Ostrovsky appeared in a TV interview and immediately we had a second look at the overall event. We suspected crisis actors were involved after having viewed and analysed numerous alleged atrocities around the world for two decades or longer.

We sent a news reporter to a Sydney hospital where wounded shooting survivors were said to be getting treatment four days after the incident. A police officer would not let the reporter into the ward and asked why the reporter was there.

We are fortunate at having a ballistics expert among other experienced investigators available at short notice to evaluate any incident, anywhere.

For many observers, the odds of one person, Arsen Ostrovsky (above) being present at both events(Oct 7) seem extraordinarily low, raising natural questions about coincidence, movement, and timing that go beyond casual curiosity.

Two weeks before the Bondi attack, Ostrovsky returned from Israel with his family to take up a job lobbying and publicly advocating with AIJAC, the Australia/Israel and Jewish Affairs Council.

Situations like this often draw attention because modern terror attacks are relatively rare on an individual level, and surviving even one is statistically uncommon. When a single person is connected to multiple high-profile incidents, the human instinct is to look for patterns rather than accept randomness at face value. This does not require assigning intent or motive; rather, it reflects a broader tendency for people to question narratives when events strain plausibility. History has shown that official explanations are not always complete at the outset, and skepticism frequently arises in the gap between what is reported and what remains unexplained.

It is also important to recognize that repeated appearances of the same figures in major news events have long fueled public distrust of institutions and media coverage, especially in an era shaped by misinformation, psychological operations, and documented government deception. When details are sparse or simplified, audiences often fill in the blanks themselves, not out of malice, but out of a desire for coherence and truth. In cases like this, the unease many people feel is less about accusation and more about the growing sense that some stories defy ordinary probability and deserve deeper scrutiny rather than immediate dismissal.
