Five cars a day are being stolen in Townsville while 399 vehicles have been stolen in Cairns so far this year. Police are powerless to stop the carnage and it's not hard to work out who is stealing these cars when one of their Facebook trophy photos is scutinised

KAP Leader and Member for Traeger Robbie Katter has slammed the LNP’s new community crime survey, saying North Queenslanders already gave politicians their answer loud and clear years ago.

“The Member for Hinchinbrook went to the recent by-election promising to fight for stronger bail laws and give North Queenslanders a seat at the table,” Mr Katter said.

“Why haven’t you introduced Castle Law Mr LNP?” Robbie Katter asked

“Well having to raise a petition hardly sounds like having a seat at the table.

“People in North Queensland have already spoken. They’ve spoken through election results, community outrage and the 113,000 signatures on KAP’s Castle Law petition.

“They don’t want another survey. They want action.”

Mr Katter said KAP had been pushing relocation sentencing and stronger consequences for repeat offenders long before both major parties caught up to the crisis.

“KAP put relocation sentencing on the table years ago because regional communities were already begging for intervention before more young lives and more victims were created,” he said.

“And here’s the reality nobody wants to admit – the detention centres are already overflowing.

“So, if the government is serious about stopping repeat offending and reforming these kids, then they need a different approach.

“KAP has already put the solution on the table.

“Relocation sentencing gets repeat offenders out of the same destructive environments, away from the same influences and into structured environments where they can be rehabilitated.

“Castle Law provides a real deterrent.”

Mr Katter said Queenslanders were tired of repeat offenders being granted bail repeatedly while ordinary families carried the consequences.

“People are fed up with the revolving door,” he said.

“They want consequences.  They want policies that work.  They want repeat offenders reformed before more innocent families become victims.

“Adult Crime, Adult Time is a start, but Castle Law, and Relocation Sentencing, as well as jail time for breaking bail is needed.

“Queenslanders deserve to feel safe in their homes, businesses, and communities again.”

6 thought on “LNP: Surveys easier than doing something positive about juvenile crime explosion”
  1. The Reluctant Representatives
Having little confidence in either their standing or influence within the LNP Government, the elected members for Cook, Barron River, Mulgrave and Hinchinbrook have sought political security by initiating a public petition designed to pressure their Brisbane parliamentary colleagues into introducing legislation mandating the imprisonment of juvenile offenders who breach bail. Such conduct is more characteristic of a public interest group campaigning on behalf of a community than of elected representatives entrusted with the responsibility to legislate and govern.

As members of the governing party, these MPs possess privileged avenues through which to influence government policy: routine access to fellow LNP members, participation in party-room deliberations, direct lobbying of ministers and the Premier, and, ultimately, the power to determine legislation through their votes in Parliament. They should exercise those inherent representative powers rather than project political impotence as though they were merely aggrieved constituents.

Of the 19 Central and North Queensland electorates, 15 are represented by LNP members within the 53-seat Crisafulli Government. They are therefore in a considerably stronger position to exert influence within the party room than the 12 regional members were in the 78-seat Newman Government. Yet, despite their numerical strength, they present as little more than startled rabbits caught in the dazzling lights of “Brisvegas”.

In truth, regional MPs — whether LNP or ALP — appear more invested in adhering to the party line, regurgitating Brisbane-crafted messaging, and securing their future preselection than in effectively representing their constituents or delivering meaningful regional outcomes. Accordingly, the actions of the members for Cook, Barron River, Mulgrave and Hinchinbrook amount to little more than “fighting for the region” theatre, masquerading as genuine representation.

The Talmud and the Rabbis teach that it’s good to fvck over the “goyim”(non-Jew) whenever they can get away with it, whom are described as lesser beings “created by God to serve the superior Jew”.

That case might be the last time a Jew is tried and convicted of a significant crime by a non-Jew court.
(it is a “blasphemy”, and “persecution” and thus a crime for a non-Jew (“lesser being”) to judge and punish a Jew.

That’s why the governor commuted the JEW rapist-murderer Leo Frank’s death sentence to a life sentence. But back then the “goyim” wouldn’t submit to Jewish law, and they hung the fvcker anyways.

  3. This must be very satisfying for our extreme far left ALP governments who are dedicated to fracturing society in every possible way. Whenever the UnaParty creates an undesirable outcome, it’s usually hard to say for sure if it’s incompetence or deliberate social vandalism, but later when they start making excuses then you know, it’s deliberate.
Look at them this afternoon, they are now in the polls under threat from Pauline Hanson, so they claim she has no policies to fix anything. Huh ? The policy is to reduce migration, the ALP policy is to import 1/4 million this year. How can the communist ALP stand there on camera and flat out lie again and again I cannot understand.
Look what the UnaParty has done with superannuation, when they invented GST and installed it by Hegalian zig-zag, as soon as they had a pile of money they invented “The Future Fund” which turned out to be designed for politician and public servant superannuations. Elbow’s entitlements will run to $300,000+ per annum, when he is booted out. The tradie has to charge GST 10% which then goes to Canberra into their superannuation. What about the tradie superannuation. Mwa-ha-ha-haa, nothing for you idiot tradie.
Welcome to communism where the party mates get millions and you get the soup kitchen.
The criminals in Canberra should give all that money back for training kids to be tradies but “oh no it is legislated”.
UnaParty, you suck so bad, it is almost beyond comprehension, “oh please do not use such un-parliamentary language”

  4. ORDO-AB-CHAO. Order from Chaos. Be careful what you wish for over this ‘crime wave’, for a ‘police/surveillance state’ is THEIR intention. CBDC/Digital ID/Social Credit score system.

This is, as always, as usual, PROBLEM-REACTION -SOLUTION…The solution being a police/surveillance state, of course it is, with Agenda 2030 and their 10-15-20 min SMART Cities.

Do you allow THEIR solution, as usual, or will we switch to the ‘final solution’, with ropes and lamp posts for treachery, for treason and crimes against humanity? Everyone will sit on the couch and think about it a few seconds I suppose…go back to watching the footy.

  5. Words are tough but results are non-existent… Maybe Labor doesn’t want to offend their future voters! Disgusting when 14-18 yr olds are ruling a large portion of Queensland, IMO!
