As the Liberal Party draws closer to a new leader it is important to remember that politicians should act respectfully, professionally and with integrity. They should recognise their power, influence or authority and not abuse them. They have a parliamentary duty to act with dignity, courtesy, fairness and respect. To act vexatiously in the course of their role is unacceptable.
To spread gossip and rumour to the media about a Victoria Cross recipient for over 10 years is a failure of all the above. Is this an attempt to pervert the course of justice with a trial by media?
Jacinta Nampijinpa was stood down recently – It is time we had a good hard look at Andrew Hastie. He has demonstrated in the articles attached that he is not fit to be the leader of the Liberal Party.
A cosy and dangerous relationship exists between Andrew Hastie and two journalists, the self-proclaimed unethical Nick McKenzie and Chris Masters from Nine Entertainment formally Fairfax Media. Hastie has been working with the two journalists since 2013. He has done everything he can to assist them with their reckless reports tearing down the Australian Defence Force and our most highly decorated soldier Ben -Smith VC MG.
The gravity of media reporting against Ben Roberts Smith between 2018 – 2025 has been extreme. Particularly since Andrew Hastie MP the self-proclaimed whistleblower and witness for Nine Media has been the source of information to Nick McKenzie and Chris Masters. Hastie was been volunteering the opinion that BRS had willfully breached the Law of Armed Conflict, intentionally violated the Rules of Engagement (ROE) and knowingly committed war crimes.
Hastie finally identified himself in the media in March 2022 and declared himself the whistleblower. He is the catalyst in the ongoing stories to destroy BRS and other Australians. He was called as a witness against BRS and had nothing but rumour and gossip.
You should be alarmed at the attachments to this email. The documents have only a fraction of what harm Andrew Hastie has done to the Liberal Party and to others including our family.
I question his integrity and his motive and so should you.

Jason, we can only go off by so called facts and statements that are presented to us and then not because a Judge makes the definitive decision, but relying on our curious human nature make up our own minds as to what is right and in a just manor.

Everyone just keep in mind that the vast majority of Cairns News readers (I would have thought) will still preference the Liberal Party ahead of Labor and the Greens even if like me they despise the Liberal Party. In my case I simply despise Labor, the Teals and The Greens a whole lot more yet again. It’s either that or vote informally. There is something seriously wrong with our voting system when in my case I only have two choices in my electorate: vote informally or my preferential vote goes to the Liberal Party even though I do not want the Liberal Party running this country under any circumstances. I’d much rather just vote for the candidates who I actually want in Parliament and not number any more boxes than that. If my vote then gets discarded, so be it. Way better than voting for someone I do not want in Parliament. But one thing is for sure: I’m sure not going to “reward” the Liberal Party – regardless of who leads it – by granting them a preferential vote because my vote for small conservative parties and candidates got swallowed up in the first few iterations of counting. Personally I doubt the next truly conservative coalition PM hasn’t even been born yet. Heck, I doubt their parents have even met yet…
“Frankly” thanks for the comments. I may not have been in Afghan but Andrew Hastie was and what he saw was peopled killed for “practice” and for Godless revelry. It was bad enough that we were fighting in a country that never harmed us, on behalf of the “Elites”, to destroy an enemy that were trained and financed by Australians/Americans/British decades earlier BUT when all human decency is ignored so we can continue to barrack for team Australia, we have lost the plot.

To be successful in Godly activities and practice, you must understand that you are required to become a party to His will/ mind, and that is achieved through being IN HIM/ONENESS, and to act within and out of His authority.
The only way for this to happen according to my experience, is by being FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT ACHIEVED THROUGH THE LAYING ON OF HANDS, AND EVIDENCED THROUGH THEN BEING ABLE TO SPEAK IN TONGUES. THEN THE HOLY SPIRIT PERSONALLY INSTRUCTS YOU IN HOLY/HEAVENLY PRACTICE, and you learn from that point on to trust God’s influence over you, and whatever He directs you to do and be, you can live out in confidence that it will happen.
Outside of this experience and way of living, you will just have very small gains if any at all.
In this current political upheaval where the ruling class is trying to destroy all Christian influence, and replace it with evil lawlessness, we Christians must stand up and be counted and use the power that Jesus Christ won for us on the cross. Greater things than He did we must now do, and we must confront all evil with the authority of God, not with requests for Him to do it for us. We must act in Jesus’ Name, declaring exactly what must happen, relying on God’s influence over us to make correct decisions, and believing/having faith as much as a grain of mustard seed if necessary to achieve those ends.
Jason, I would agree with you on the good and evil side we are all faced with at the moment. But when it comes to the war in Afghanistan there is no way of knowing what our guys were confronted with in the moment. Especially when the opposing side is in a cloaked garment not knowing he or she has explosives strapping to them or a child is leading our guys down a booby trapped laneway.
Sorry but our guys have been thrown under a bus back here in Aus. relative to unconventional warfare in a tribal country in which they more than likely are protecting in their own country in any way they can.

I have had a very uncomfortable feeling about Andrew Hastie for some time. He comes from an electorate near me.
I have only ever voted for one Liberal member and now-a-days don’t vote either Liberal or Labor.
I have always respected both Roberts-Smith & Hastie.. no respect held for either of these “journalists”.. therefore knowing of this close relationship between said journos & Hastie now tarnishes Hastie’s reputation by that association. Be more careful who you consider are your ‘friends’ Mr Hastie.. upstanding & righteous men are few & far between even if they have a praying Presbyterian pastor for a father. That’s not a feather in your cap.. you stand on your own merits in life.!
All we need to clear this up is the truth no matter how difficult to accept. Very simple solution with massive implications. We can do this Aus 🫡
