LAST Saturday’s Australia Unites Rally in Sydney has been hailed “a success beyond expectations”, according to organiser Mary-Jane Liddicoat, whose company Freedom Financials is a Cairns News sponsor.
“On Saturday 13 September, 5000 to 10,000 everyday Australians gathered in Sydney for the Australia Unites Rally — far exceeding the organisers’ expectations,” she said.
“In the lead-up, many had been disappointed that the planned march across the Sydney Harbour Bridge was withdrawn after legal challenges. But on the day, that disappointment gave way to unity and resolve. The march through Sydney’s CBD and the return to Hyde Park proved uplifting, peaceful, and powerful.”
She said the rally featured a diverse line-up of speakers who gave voice to the struggles and aspirations of everyday Australians:
- Professor Gigi Foster – UNSW economist, co-founder of the Council for Science and Freedom
- Captain Graham “Hoody” Hood – former Qantas pilot and trusted voice of courage
- Michael Simms – children’s health advocate, MMAMV
- John Larter – former NSW paramedic and Chair, Aligned Council of Australia
- Sonia Qutami – filmmaker, Rescuing Children
- Rick Herrera – community leader, SWAG Family Sydney
- Michael Gray Griffith – Cafe Locked Out
- Cass Smith – accountant, Freedom Financial Solutions (FFS)
- Doris Osman – naturopath and health advocate
- Mary-Jane Liddicoat – community leader and organiser, Millions March
“Each speaker shared lived experiences and practical insights, leaving the crowd energised and connected,” said Ms Liddicoat.
She also noted that the rally took place in the shadow of tragedy, just days after Charlie Kirk, founder and CEO of Turning Point USA, was assassinated in Utah. “Kirk had built TPUSA into America’s largest conservative youth movement, and his death underscored the dangers of hostility replacing dialogue.
“At the same time, the event’s impact stretched far wider than Hyde Park. Joel Jammal, Turning Point Australia leader, streamed live coverage and commentary, with hundreds of thousands watching online, amplifying the rally’s reach across the nation.”
Cairns News posted a link to the live coverage.
Ms Liddicoat said the event cost organisers around $15,000, which was fully covered through sponsorship — without asking the public for donations.
“This support ensured the day had a professional stage and quality sound system, so everyone could both see and hear clearly. Sponsors also handed out 200 souvenir rally vests and some t-shirts, adding a strong sense of unity and memorabilia to the day.
“Crucially, the rally was delivered under the watchful gaze of the NSW Police, with marshals and officers working together to maintain a peaceful, family-friendly environment.
“The result was a safe day where significant numbers of everyday Australians, from diverse cultural and other backgrounds, could march and gather confidently in the heart of Sydney.
“The rally’s success showed that Australians are not only concerned about cost-of-living pressures, health outcomes, and government overreach — they are ready to come together peacefully and demand better.
“For Freedom Financial Solutions, the message is clear: just as communities can stand together for change, so too can individuals take control of their financial future. Preparation, action, and resilience are the keys to security — whether in family life, community, or finance.”

A march isn’t as protest, it’s a walk in the park ..
Remember Joey we have said repeatedly we would be deleting videos that opened in comments. We ask all the time for disabled links which most people have been doing and maybe you forgot or it didn’t happen. We have been doing this for ages now as CN is getting close to its maximum capacity in comments. And no Joey nobody in 13 years has tried to control CN but we have had a few massive hack attacks. You have been around long enough to know that CN is not under anyones control. Silly comment really. Ed
Has John Wilson the union man reappeared? We paid to join his union last year and have never heard a word since? Editor
Lidicote made an accusation that Aussie Cossack threatened to kill her & Minson. John Wilson has now demanded evidence. Still waiting.
The resilient garden path leads to a world of deception and repression.
In the face of pushback against globalisation and our one world governance, we must build back better resilient organisational resilience capabilities, leading by resilience.
Our resilience in our globalisation security resilient resilience must be resilient adaptive, organised to adapt resiliently to repel attack resiliently in the face of adverse resilience; only then will our resilient one world governance resilient global security resilience be achieved……resiliently 🤮
Freedom cannot flourish in a mind continuously conflicted, one’s world permanently at war with itself.
Led by the hand up a garden path, who are we to know another future?
Contrived permanent crisis justifies permanent influence and control over all things in the hive minds of agents of resilient one world governance as they struggle internally with a changing world.
The freedom movement at this moment was contained in resilient divisive narratives.
Chas Barter said – “… Great ‘Australia Unites’ rallies around the country but we have heard crickets from our politicians…”
Of course the Treasonous sold-out paid-off fake corporate “politicians” will ignore the voice of the Australian people, they neither work for us nor answer to us. They have their instructions from their genocidal foreign owners, and they’re determined to see it through to the end – OUR end – no matter what.
All these demonstrations and rallies, marching and waving placards and shit have absolutely no relevance at all to the AnAL Uniparty Regime or any other “political party” for that matter. And just BTW, “political parties” are constitutionally unlawful here in Australia, but since when did the Constitution actually mean anything?
No, all these efforts to express the frustrations and grievances of the Australian people are for the Australian people themselves, and nothing more. They’re a slow but necessary step on the path to tediously stirring enough people out of their coma to fuel a decisive groundswell against the baby-eating mongrel arsehole bastards that are strangling the life out of our country.
And that’s when we’ll have the impetus to go FULL RETARD NEPAL and string every last one of these Treasonous mass-murdering baby-eating bastards up to lamp posts, and hand Australia back to its people.
Another five or six years, folks, make sure to survive and last the distance.
Nice Catch JOHN. The Ba,al Hat’s are everywhere. It’s Time for REAL Christians to Organize a Harbor Bridge March titled, “JESUS IS KING.” Interesting how the Ba,al Hat Controlled Pagan Pollies and Pagan Bureaucrats handle that one. Joey, it is supposedly News Corp owned, from Austria – But just check where the servers are, that would answer your questions/statements.

Since when is CN CENSORING comments?
Appears even this platform is controlled.
The problem we have in this great land is that we have employees pretending to be our Representatives and yet we have no idea where they live, are not answerable to the people that pay their wages and in most cases have entitlements that their employers could only dream of.
Let that sink in…
Great ‘Australia Unites’ rallies around the country but we have heard crickets from our politicians and the Main stream media have chosen to ignore them altogether. Disgraceful as usual!
Nepal riots also very successful not just in Nepal but here our horrible e-Karen is now on a charm offensive, she is inserting the thinnest possible edge of the wedge, putting the onus back on the big platforms who will no doubt respond with lawyers. e-Karen says the system won’t be perfect meaning I suppose it is rooted from the word go. How much are we paying for this rubbish. Parents can get their kid G or PG rated phones I believe so how about they just do that. Another massive failure for Team Elbow.
Mary-Jane Liddicoat – isnt she the lady that was involved with stand in the park who worked for dfat as a spy? and had a restaurant or some type of eatery where many diplomats go? nope – if she is involved i would have nothing to do with it
