NSW Premier Chris Minns has proved himself a liar and betrayed assurances to anti-abortion groups and churches that he would block a Greens Private Members Bill to force NSW hospitals to abort more babies and instead has done a deal to fast track it.
Minns recently gave a speech to Sydney’s Maronite community saying he was against the bill because it was against religious freedom and would cause an exodus of health workers in NSW. According to anti-abortion campaigner Dr Johanna Howe, he expressed the same sentiments to other church leaders and assured them the bill would not go through.
The Bill is the work of the ghoulish anti-Christian Greens MP Dr Amanda Cohn who came into the Parliament on a platform of wanting more abortion and who says being an abortionist for her is an experience of joy and empowerment.
Cohn is also a practitioner of so-called “gender-affirming care”, i.e. the surgical mutilation of children and others who have been talked into “gender transition”. Her bio states that as a GP, she was “a provider of medical abortion, gender-affirming care and health assessments for newly arrived refugees”.
Minns has now gone back assurances to the anti-abortion lobby that he will take their concerns into consideration and has instead done a deal behind closed doors to fast-track the bill – no doubt emboldened by federal Labor’s .
Dr Howe said the bill is “the culmination of Dr Cohn’s passion for killing babies” and takes Australia further down the road of extremism on abortion, with laws pushed by Labor and the Greens making abortion available up to birth now operating in all states and territories.
Environmentalist ideologues like Dr Cohn see human population as a “threat to the planet and nature”, hence their total lack of moral qualms about killing infants in or even out of the womb.
Cohn’s bill will give the Minister for Health the power to order all hospitals to perform abortions, including Catholic and other religiously based hospitals. She also wants to abolish data keeping requirements for abortions, presumably to cover up the extent of the practice.
But more than that, the baby killing doctor-MP wants to force all doctors, midwives and nurses to perform abortion procedures. Dr Howe described it as “a violently horrific bill” that needs to be stopped at all costs.
Cohn is a long-time Greens activist and was the first Green and youngest woman elected to Albury City Council. She was Deputy Mayor from 2016 to 2021 and pushed “climate action” initiatives, protection of native vegetation, recognition of First Nations heritage, as well as “inclusion and accessibility” for disabled, LGBTQIA+ and multicultural communities.
Her other big cause was “family violence” and chaired the Border Domestic Violence Network.
These scumbags voting for the abortion of full term babies without any anaesthesia, means that they are selling the the babies organs and do not want their prizes tainted with anaesthetics. That is murder most foul.
