Australia’s attempt to “control at all costs” COVID-19 went on for too long and states should be stripped of their powers to make disease control rules during pandemics, the country’s former deputy chief medical officer says.
In a candid 10-page submission to a government inquiry, Dr Nick Coatsworth said officials suffered “group think” and fatigue during the pandemic, which contributed to poor decision-making and a failure to consider alternative health restrictions.
Vaccine mandates should only ever be a “last resort”, “time limited” and the responsibility of the government – not employers, he said.
Australia was successful in bringing together the most experienced health professionals, the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), to help manage COVID-19, Dr Coatsworth said in the submission.
But decision-making suffered from a series of problems that must be fixed for future pandemic responses, he said.

I and many people knew from the start that this was a con. Possibly 1/3 of the population. I come across more and more people who are not Vaxed and quietly did not comply with the nonsense. I am not a doctor or scientist or any type of expert in diseases. I would say that most of those people are not experts either!
Nick Coatsworth I believe is a doctor and was exempt from the claimed mandates. That is enough evidence that he did know and should have known.
I don’t buy his remorse.
Vaccine mandates should not be the responsibility of any authority, especially governments and unelected bureaucrats. The mandates would have failed if enough people had just opened their eyes even a little bit. It was so obvious. People allowed themselves to be herded like sheep. Pathetic to watch. And after years of doing so, and long ago knowing that the jabs have harmed and killed off millions (so far) and that they have no real effect on stopping a supposed virus or any of its supposed variations, they “still” smile away as they “still” push the plungers to get the poisons in.
Don’t get me wrong, I know and worked with/for may hundreds of good doctors and nurses. Many of the good ones left due to the EXPERI-MENTAL POISONS.
I have since spoken with many who left or were sacked from many hospitals. Quite a few will never or do not want to, go back.
There is a definate need for accident and emergency depaetments and surgery associated with same. They do good work, especially in surgery to fix people up, put them back together.
I believe that we are now on the way to getting away from the drug only treatments and will end up with more natural treatment / preventative medicine centers.
That would at least be, one good thing to come out of this mess.
I have said it before on CN. not “all” doctors and nurses are kind caring angels.
Five years ago that statement would not have been accepted by the general public. Much has changed since then.
If we let it all slide we will have learnt little to nothing and will not be able to help those still suffering from the jabs and the next newer much improved version of the plandemic.

We’re in a small country town with a decent sized hospital that services the entire area.
The hospital admin, the doctors and nurses forced all the Covid vax and boosters onto everyone saying it was “safe and effective”.
Now everyone there is sick with Covid and other side effects and many people have died suddenly.
It’s more obvious because of the towns small size.
Everyone knows it’s the vax but they’re up to the 5 jabs now.
They’re relentless.

I ve also noticed that many jabbed people are losing their marbles.
I refuse to go to the both the hospital or see any of the doctors.

Section 51 of our constitution states:
51. Legislative powers of the Parliament
The Parliament shall, subject to this Constitution, have power to make laws for the peace, order, and good government of the Commonwealth with respect to:
….
(ix) quarantine;
….
(xxiiiA) the provision of maternity allowances, widows’ pensions, child endowment, unemployment, pharmaceutical, sickness and hospital benefits, medical and dental services (but not so as to authorize any form of civil conscription), benefits to students and family allowances;
And section 52 states:
52. Exclusive powers of the Parliament
The Parliament shall, subject to this Constitution, have exclusive power to make laws for the peace, order, and good government of the Commonwealth with respect to:
(i) the seat of government of the Commonwealth, and all places acquired by the Commonwealth for public purposes;
(ii) matters relating to any department of the public service the control of which is by this Constitution transferred to the Executive Government of the Commonwealth;
(iii) other matters declared by this Constitution to be within the exclusive power of the Parliament.
What this means is that the States had no jurisdiction in the first place as it is EXCLUSIVE to the Federal Parliament, not States!
That is why the fines for lockdown breaches were all dismissed, as the States do not have jurisdiction, and if they want to lock you up for quarantine purposes, it must be done in accordance with the Biosecurity Act 2015, section 60 & 61 which have specific requirements in that if you are to be detained for quarantine purpose you must have the appropriate order issued by a Biosecurity Officer, issued to you within 24 hours of being issued by the Biosecurity officer, and you MUST BE symptomatic.
All Fed stuff, nothing to do with the States.

Note the date…2021, two months after release of the vax… Australia also knew of the side effects and decided not to tell the public as it might create vaccine hesitancy – its on tape.

But Nick, Australia’s Federal, States and Territories parliaments are limited by the constitution and cannot enforce any form of medical conscription onto the people, otherwise they commit treason.
Owners and body corporates of once government services that have been outsourced, and now exist as public – private partnerships relying on public funding for survival, must have felt threatened to comply with political pressure; as well as private businesses which rely on cashflow and open doors to remain viable.
Public servants and heads of government departments overseeing the management of taxpayer funds for their private service contractors, and expert advice to private businesses, lead and coordinated all pandemic responses.
We had an Australian made pandemic response plan built by Australian professionals, but that went out the window, to a coordinated attack on Australia by unelected, unaccountable international agencies and their motivated Australian agents waiting in the shadows.
Claiming plausible deniability does not exempt bureaucrats from constitutional or commercial liability for actions committed on their behalf by their private partners or private businesses.

Geez thanks Dr Nick – wish you came to this realization before you helped my employer try to convince me and others from my company to get the jab to keep our job (even though I’d been working from home for the 3yrs prior and was on carers leave). Lucky for me you weren’t convincing enough and I instead opted to lose my hard-earned career of 28yrs, the 1 1/2yrs of sick leave entitlements, my financial stability, reputation amongst my colleagues oh and a fair chunk of my mental health – Fairwork (ironic name!) also has a lot to answer for in this space.
