Barnaby Joyce says food is the next target of the corporate swindlers

THE art of the corporate swindler, as opposed to competitor, is to moralise why you have to buy their product and hopefully only their product. If they can achieve this then the streets are lined with your gold all the way to their bank. The intermittent power sector has done this brilliantly saying that if you don’t use their wind tower/solar panel product the world will come to an end.

They make politicians make it illegal to use other cheaper products such as coal fired electricity. They even manage to have agreements put in place so they have no risk to get anything but a massive profit, in Australia’s case the secret Capacity Investment Schemes.

If you had said to Australians 30 years ago that we would give up amongst the cheapest power in the world based on a product we had in abundance, coal, to replace it with an asylum of solar panels, wind turbines, transmission lines, batteries, nearly all underwritten with secret agreements to domestic billionaires and foreign companies, then people would argue that our nation would never be that ludicrously foolish. But we were.

If we had been a little more on our toes and on our wits we could have called BS before we drove power prices through the roof, small businesses into insolvency and heavy industry overseas. But don’t worry, the swindlers are back and circling again on the next essential product, food.

Our meat is apparently immoral and must be replaced by lab grown “meat” or more rather petri dish product grown in large factories owned by very smart people about to make a killing. If thousands of cattle producers can be replaced by a new petri dish product monopoly then they can charge whatever they please because they know you have to eat. Just like what they did with electricity because they know you can’t live without power.

It is the rumbling storm of the swindlers coming again. Cattle produce methane, methane is evil and if we don’t stop eating farmers meat and start eating petri dish product, then there will be floods, fires, droughts, islands will disappear, personkind will be lost. Government must immediately start putting restrictions on the farmers producing beef. Monopoly owned petri dish product must become the future or tariffs will be imposed and interest rates will go up.

Climate conferences will be sponsored by the emerging petri dish product industry. Children will be told that they are not allowed farmers’ beef in their lunches. In the meantime to stop the instantaneous combustion of the children, agreements, secret agreements, will be drawn up to underwrite the returns on the petri dish product factories, a massive return even if they don’t produce anything.

If Australia had called rubbish on the insane quest for Australia to be run on intermittent power twenty years ago we would have avoided so much cost of living pain today. Rather than learning from that incredible foolishness that has done so much damage to Australia we are being lead in our sleep to doubling up, only this time with what should be our affordable fresh meat supply, well except for the electricity component.

There is trillions to be made if one can monopolise food production and the swindlers know that. The fear fest, charm offensive has well and truly begun. Don’t let them do you over twice.

I am and all in my district are beef producers, from cattle that eat grass, walk around in the paddock, drink at the streams, moo and are generally very content and support our local economy.

When we load cattle for sale we feel a joy that we feed the towns and the cities the cleanest natural protein product on the planet. It is one of the great advantages that Australia has, kind of like the abundance of coal that we use to use to produce cheap electricity.
