THEY call themselves “centrists”, “moderates” or even “wets”, but it is becoming clearer by the day that these Liberal Party infiltrators are little more than than the standard leftists or “progressives” – people who progressively destroy Australia’s economic and social fabric.
As Cairns News has previously said, they would easily slip into a party seat with the Teals, the more moderate Greens or even Labor.
In Western Australia the Liberal Party leader Basil Zempilas has been issued a warning by Matt Sheahan, leader of the conservative political action group Advance, that they are “going after him”.
Zempilas says he is “very comfortable” with Welcome to Country ceremonies, wants to continue the divisive act of flying Indigenous flags next to or instead of the Australian Flag and still wants net zero.
“Weak. Weak. And Weak,” is how Sheahan describes Zempilas. “And that’s exactly why we went after him.”
A recent headline in The Australian read: “Advance shreds Basil Zempilas and issues warning to other Coalition MPs”.
“Because mainstream Australians are doing it tough, and they are sick and tired of being betrayed by piss-weak politicians, including some Liberal and National MPs,” says Sheahan in an email to supporters.
“Advance is here to give you a voice when your leaders refuse to. And it’s not just politicians who have gone weak.
“The sad fact is that those who say they’re on the side of ‘common sense’ – even those who call themselves conservatives – are still getting it so, so wrong.
“They are turning their backs on the men and women who built this country and keep it running day in, day out, and that’s exactly why we’re fighting tooth and nail against net zero.
“Not just because it’s wrong, or that it’s destructive, or that it will impoverish us before it will fix anything – all of which is true. It’s also because Australians never voted for Net Zero.
“Aussies are sceptical. The elites haven’t even properly explained net zero, and despite two decades of politicians from all sides forcing it down our throats, most Australians still see it for what it is – a scam that drives up electricity prices while foreign companies and local grifters make off with your hard earned money.”
Sheahan, however, says another WA Liberal, Andrew Hastie, is “a politician who listens”.
“He was on the front foot this week, standing on the side of Austalians. He stood up against net zero. He voted against Welcomes to Country and called out the harm that mass immigration is doing to our country. And he supports a country that rallies beneath just one flag: the Australian flag.
“Advance will always stand with those who stand with mainstream Australians and we will always come for those who stand against them. Weak Coalition politicians, watch out. “If you think we are bluffing, just give Adam Bandt a call.”
Zempilas and other leftie Libs are, of course, liked or at least tolerated by a large segment of mainsteam media, and The West Australian recently ran a drooling report on Zempilas and his family holidaying in Greece.
Labor politicians also play left-leaning Liberals off against the conservatives, a case in point being WA Labor’s cardboard cut-out Police Minister Reece Whitby calling out Zempilas for “failing to show leadership and stand up against his colleagues’ moves to scrap firearms laws designed to make the community safer.”
Whitby knows very well that Zempilas is most likely privately anti-private firearm ownership and was playing the old game of wedge politics. But the Libs fully deserve it because of their compromising ways.
Cairns News believes it’s time for the Coalition to wake up and follow the lead of Barnaby Joyce in exposing the gross folly of net zero and being a real opposition.
The May 2025 editorial in The Spectator Australia, not-so-subtly headlined D-I-V-O-R-C-E, tackled this very same issue with reference to net zero and socialism within the Liberals: “Make no mistake, net zero is communism, or, at the very least, global socialism. There are no longer any environmental arguments whatsoever that justify Australia restructuring its entire economy , its industry, its manufacturing, its transportation, its farming, its construction industry and everyday lifestyles in order ot remove all carbon emissions from our continent.”
But the leftist-globalist rot in the Liberal Party runs deep, going back to ex-PMs like Malcolm Fraser and Malcolm Turnbull, and it may require a radical split between the wanna-be Teals crowd led by Sussan Ley and conservatives led by Hastie, Alex Antic and others.
But the Liberal backroom kingpins, who are not about principles or values but all about political game-playing, would seek to avoid a deep split like the plague because they know the mob on the other side of the House would go on a ballistic mockfest – not to mention the “oh shock horror” media fallout.
This “forget the principles and play the political game” mentality is also supported by leading media types like Paul Kelly of The Australian, as noted by Sheahan in another post on net zero.
“We oppose it on principle and we are prepared to argue day after day to change people’s minds. And we don’t really care if, as Kelly writes, opposing Net Zero means: “Labor would have the full progressive orchestra behind it, singing in unison – teals, Greens, the women’s vote, the youth vote, the unions, the corporates, the finance sector, the NGOs, the education lobby and the full progressive media in its moralistic, outrage mode.”

This research validates Professor Valentina Zharkova who states we are heading for a Little Ice Age commencing in 2031. That’s six years from now. The clock is ticking and when will the Sorcerer’s Apprentices start dumping Net Zero and start talking about this coming crisis of freezing weather. Answer: When the Sorcerer permits them, ie when it is all too late.
Something to ponder: h ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiIPBnZCmVk
In WA federal election, 2022 or thereabouts, the blue faction was determined to lose. They were all signed on to a secret pact to lose. Some of them were slightly embarrassed about it, like Michaelia “how long must I endure this” Cash, others were completely unashamed, such as Linda Reynolds. In the previous term LR was only concerned with her minions drunken rooting in the office after hours major blowup.
As for the state election around that time they self destructed, for a state leader they got a fellow just out of his teens ( nobody else wanted the job ) to go down to Collie, the coal mining capital and electric generation centre, and tell them they would be converted to green power. The state blue faction was almost entirely wiped out, they had maybe 2 seats and the brown dirt faction had about 4.
The point here is the “net zero” comes at us from Swissyland, because we in Australia have been selected as the trial run for green power, and they are all going nuts about it from Twiggy with his hydrogen debacle down to the clapped-out Linda Reynolds.
As Sir Queir said, I would rather be at the WEF than in the House of Commoners, in Swissyland is where we are making things happen.
Globalists: OK Sir Queir, we want you to be the proving ground for implementation of total surveillance subservience, your useless eaters are amongst the most useless in the world, smack them around, do anything you like, we want them in technocracy virtual chains by 2030.
Sir Queir: “Yes Sir”
Basil Zempilas is a long long term employee of channel seven, his former employer being Kerry Stokes. Basil only entered politics after the March WA state elections this year, 2025 and raced straight into the leadership position of the liberal party. Six other liberal pollies are with him in the lower house alongside six nationals. Forty six labourites are the remaining members of the wa lower house. One of these is Reece Whitby, himself a former journo with channel seven and therefore an ex long term colleague of Basil’s. Whitby entered parliament after the 2017 election after at least one other failed attempt. Basil was most recently the Lord Mayor of Perth but ditched that to lead six Liberals in the state. The Nationals have their own leader and at present are running their own show not that it matters with thirteen seats out of a fifty nine seat parliament …. Who is going to take them seriously…the liberals in wa have been on the nose for about ten years and I don’t know that they will ever recover. If the nationals were able to win a few seats in Perth the liberals would be toast….burnt toast!
Yes, Gregory S C: best also to fully resign from the electoral rolls as well, because of what Clive says here.
One other reason is that when you vote in elections you agree to underwrite the debts the incoming government.
This is why, say, the VIC government can rack up billions in debt with total impunity-because the voters are the guarantor:

I think it is about time that corporate governments were hammered under the Consumer Laws, as they are all kleptomaniac criminal cartels and in breach of contract, as per this, which, when you see this and “twig” on what I am saying, you can relate it all to the other services governments are contracted to provide, housing and health being real biggies:
https://rumble.com/v2yf678-homelessness-equals-governmental-breach-of-contract.html
In the last several days two people have been found dead in the streets here in Geelong.
It has been bitterly cold, and these homeless people were probably physically depleted and malnourished, and so on, rendering them so vulnerable to the appalling cold temperatures here.
And given that we have 6k homeless here, would that governmental fail constitute criminal negligence, as this homelessness has all come about, in large part, by government immigration policy.
During the heights of Covid his wife or companion was wearing the facial diaper while Basil preferred to take his exercise without. I sighted them twice.
He has an activist wife. Ed
You see folks The Man Behind The Curtain has all the levers.
He looks around for a candidate.
He certainly doesn’t want a smart one who will argue and give him grief.
He wants someone a little on the dopey side.
Zempilas gets the job?
Zempilas now has to decide whose side he is on.
The minder or the people.
Basil joined the Liberals because Labor did a Turnbull on him, and said no membership for you. That’s my theory.
Until these ‘leaders’ give up Net Zero and conversely start alerting the public about the coming Little Ice Age commencing in six years time, I will call them out as the Sorcerer’s Apprentices. The Sorcerer (Simon the Sorcerer was the first pope) being the Papacy who advocates Net Zero and Open Borders. The notion that CO2 is a dangerous gas first sprang from the Club of Rome, a Jesuit think tank I believe. h ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SawIG4TNpHQ
AT THIS RATE, AUSTRALIA WILL BE A MUSLIM COUNTRY UNDER SHARIA LAW BEFORE THE NEXT ELECTION.
WAKE THE **** UP AUSTRALIANS …
YOUR VOTES DO NOT MATTER …
IF THEY DID, LABOUR WOULD NOT BE IN CHARGE OF A STOLEN ELECTION.
YOUR BANDAID FIXES/DREAMING ACHIEVE NOTHING, AND ONLY ALLOW THE FESTERING TO CONTINUE.
**** TAKE AUSTRALIA BACK FROM OFFSHORE INTERNATIONAL UNLAWFUL DOMINATION !!!!
YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU TO ACT CONSTITUTIONALLY TO SACK THIS GOVERNMENT COUP D eTAT.
Brazil was always a leftist when he was on radio. Why they let him inflate the liberals I’ll never know.
“… Australians are doing it tough, and they are sick and tired of being betrayed by piss-weak politicians, including some Liberal and National MPs …”
ROTFL. I wish they’d show it with their voting.
I was a member of the Nationals for 2 years back in the 1980ies. I found even then that what they said to the members was not what they actually did. How come Barnaby Joyce has woken up?
Seems to be a pre-condition of the blue faction to be in you have to believe in net zero. So who owns the blue faction ?
The Liberal and country parties have been infiltrated by labor leftists in order to chase voters away from conservative parties. I will never vote for Labor, liberal, national (country), gtrrne yeals or Independents because they are all labor in disguise. I will only vote One Nation. You could also vote for SFF.
