China wants to add the Horn Island International Airport to its Pacific ‘string of pearls’ assets

Republished from 2024

In response to Cairns News’ exclusive report exposing the Chinese government’s incursion of the Torres Strait trying to acquire property, Bob Katter MHR put a series of questions on notice to the Home Affairs Minister Tony Bourke.

Bourke wriggled and squirmed stepping sideways, refusing to answer Katter’s straightforward questions about Chinese investment in Australia.

The slippery member for Watson whose electorate comprises 13.2 per cent Lebanese and seven per cent Chinese voters simply said the questions about China acquiring land in the Torres Strait and on the Tip of Cape York Peninsula were a matter for the Foreign Affairs Minister and had nothing to do with him.

This is grubby Labor at it best, in its quest to open up the Far North for China, their ideological masters, and it now would seem obvious Labor will do nothing to prevent China’s tactical strategy enabling it a foothold in the vital Torres Strait seaway and on the mainland.

  1. Has any one asked China why they want to land aircraft on Horn Island ?

  2. I forgot to add

…there is also a lot of good message as well in the Madden Brothers? song.

Maybe it was made for this time line

  3. Oh FFS! Cairns News!

We are over any political party trying to show they care while still under the thumb of the NWO corrupt corporation of Australia

The message in this song is right for this time!

There is a lot of satanic symbolism in this song but there is nothin’ like throwing in back into their fkn faces!

    “We are done”

That has the ring of truth if Fiji is anything to go by, Malaysia also included. So Washington rings up and tells Elbow to give PNG a big wad of fresh borrowed money for some macho Aussie style recreational pursuits for cultural advancement. Is there a strategy in this Horn Island Airport sale or is it all about kickbacks. The strategy of Globalists is they invented the communists, they funded the rise of China, and they want 90% of us eradicated. Any patriotic politician looking at this would want the entire population of Queensland armed up like the Swiss with a year of military training straight out of school.

  5. “Who are the people that are making money out of privatising corporate Australia?”

Those dirty privatising “commie” rats…. They flipped us into privatisation and we never even noticed. 🙂 Best thing we ever did was to sell off our energy supply and our arses to them, eh? lol Now we get their love for free.

  6. China is a very small investor in Australia compared to –

    U.S.A.
    EU (excludes UK)
    ASEAN
Hong Kong investment IMO would be via the HSBC which is a Rothschild bank which has its HQ in the City of London

  7. It’s treason!
They’ve left us defenceless after years of neglecting the ADF, giving deep sea ports in the far Nth and Melbourne, Air strips in WA and selling Australian farms and other property to the Chinese. Now we’re surrounded.
It’s time to hold those responsible to account.

  8. It is a lot easier and less messy to buy a country than having to invade it. Especially when the polies in the country are so cheap to buy.

  9. China is not the highest investor in Australia – they are about 9th down the list and yet they are always the only ones mentioned. No one is talking about the foreign military bases at the Top End, get rid of them too.

As for Torres Strait I would say that the people will benefit far more from China being there than from anything Australia has ever done for them.

  10. Let it be known worldwide that any Constitutionally unlawful transactions performed by any Australian parliament or their agencies will be negated whenever necessary without any compensation to the party or person who made the agreement unlawfully as opposed to just legally.
The time is coming when this unlawfully installed fake government will be disbanded and imprisoned or worse, and their deeds of the present and past will not be suffered or paid for by the public purse.

  11. Selling off strategic assets of Australia is treason and deserves the DEATH PENALTY.

  12. It is unlawful for our treasonous politicians to sale parts of Australia to a foreign Government. See the Sales of Office Act. Selling any island or Northern parts of the mainland is an act of treason and the perpetrators all of them need to stand trial before a Lawful Court. Dealing with a country that has threatened Australia turned weapons on our Royal Australian Navy can only described as a traitor. The so-called Minister needs to answer the question put to him and others from Bob Katter now.

  13. Who are the people that are making money out of privatising corporate Australia?

I doubt that Bourke makes decisions such as this on his own, but is just obeying orders.

  14. The sheer arrogance of Burke is astounding, it isn’t his land to sell, this is Australia, and the people have a voice and ultimately, it’s their decision, not some grubby little politician’s decision. Im so fed up with the attitude of the people elected to represent the people, not walk all over them to suit their agenda
