THE original 1956 movie version of George Orwell’s famous book 1984 has become available on YouTube, and should be shared, especially with the younger generation before YouTube finds some convenient reason to remove it.
Like a number of famous 1950s-era movies 1984 is of a high cinematic and dramatic quality and the stark black and white is appropriate for the subject. It is described by Wikipedia as a “British black-and-white science fiction film, based on the 1949 novel Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell, depicting a totalitarian future of a dystopian society.”
1984 was directed by Michael Anderson and starred Edmond O’Brien as Winston Smith, a Ministry of Truth bureaucrat who awakens to the gross deception of his post-revolutionary society. It also featured Donald Pleasence, Jan Sterling, and Michael Redgrave.
The prescience of Orwell’s novel is chilling, especially in an early scene where a neighbour of Winston visits him with his young daughter weilding a toy gun. The girl, apparently playing, spouts accusations at Winston accusing him of being “a traitor, a thought criminal and Eurasian spy.”
Dad looks on, apparently amused, assuring Winston she’s excited about an excursion. The girl scans Winston’s apartment, and notices his desk is away from the direct view of the Telescreen, through which Big Brother talks. “There’s something in what she said, you know,” the smiling dad tells Winston. “She doesn’t miss a thing,” he proudly adds.
“I’ll have to report you to,” the girl adds. “Nonsense Selena, nonsense. Winston has nothing to hide, have you Winston?” The scene reminds us of the vulnerability of the young minds to brainwashing, predicting the actions of today’s young green zealots, spouting the globalists’ climate crisis narrative, or trans activists reporting examples of “hate speech” and “racism” to the eSafety Commissioner – a position that would fit perfectly into Orwell’s totalitarian regime.
And then there’s Emmanuel Goldstein, the Enemy of the People and subject of the Two Minutes Hate sessions broadcasted to Winstons fellow employees. He was once an important member of the Party but became a traitor. Although sentenced to death, he escaped and formed the Brotherhood, an organized body of rebels committed to the destruction of the Party and the party’s way of life.
Like Big Brother, Goldstein very likely does not exist as an actual person, but rather, is a propaganda tool used by the Party to stir up emotion in the citizens. Goldstein functions as a threatening but ill-defined monster that the Party uses to keep citizens in line and prevent rebellion. He’s today’s Putin, perhaps even Trump to the weak minded followers of leftist, globalist media.
Like Eastasia and Eurasia, Goldstein provides the Party with an enemy to act against. When the Party does things that hurt the populace, their actions can be blamed either on terrorist attacks by Goldstein’s followers or on necessary precautions to prevent further attacks.
Winston Smith reads from Goldstein’s book: “In accordance to the principles of Doublethink, it does not matter if the war is not real, or when it is, that victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won. It is meant to be continuous. The essential act of modern warfare is the destruction of the produce of human labor,” he says. The statement is prophetic of the recent “War Against Terror” and now “The War Against Russian Aggression”. Does it even matter to the powers that be that many people don’t buy into this?
Winston continues: “A hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. In principle, the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects. And its object is not victory over Eurasia or Eastasia, but to keep the very structure of society intact.” Julia? Are you awake? There is truth, and there is untruth. To be in a minority of one doesn’t make you mad.”
There is the science fictional world that is coming true right before our eyes

Orwell and Huxley, both excellent writers, came from similar pools and joined the covert, predictive programming game. For mine, Huxley’s Brave New World and the soma experience might be now more probable than Orwell’s recently superseded kommissar story.
I am an Orwell fan. 1984 was not an entirely original idea. He wrote on topics that were being discussed in certain circles. He was a contemporary to Aldous Huxley and Arthur Koestler. Birth name Eric Blair and not related to Tony Blair who was adopted.
Animal Farm. The pigs moved into Farmer Jones house and the farmyard animals asked why do you get the house when all animals are equal. The answer is classic. Because some animals are more equal than others.
The book may have originally been title 1948. The publisher may have suggested the name change.
Orwell was a modern prophet, the thought police are already there in the UK as predicted. 1984 was a warning nobody heeded. A woman was recently arrested and searched after standing silently outside an abortion clinic after admitting she may have been praying in her head. We do tend to follow the jUS and jUK lately.

We see that in the current Russia/Ukraine conflict where Russia offered a peace deal but others interfered and persuaded Zelensky not to accept… so that conflict continues….
We see it in the Hamas/Israel conflict where Hamas refuses to release all the hostages as part of any agreement….and so the conflict continues…..
History shows that ALL wars come to an end… eventually! So why drag it out?
Because – there are those who make massive profits from wars … both financially and in terms of ‘control’ over helpless individuals on both sides who are caught up in these conflicts.

The Globalists will get what they want. total control and transhumanism, they may just have to wait a bit longer for some of it, in the meantime they are pushing on with technocracy and CBDCs, they have a number of agendas to push and when one fails they will push harder on another. At the moment we have their “Global Warming” campaign turned up to maximum because they know the solar cycles are approaching maximum and we will have a few warm “el Nino” years from here on. This will keep the gullible terrified as they are herded into two minute cities and PCR tested for bird flu etc etc. The UN dickhead has already made more “earth is boiling” statements as the northern hemisphere heads into summer. They will keep pushing with all the resources they have – printed money and information control. Really ? That’s it ? Yes that’s it, like the Pharaohs standing on top of the pyramids talking to the sun god and “bringing the weather”, their powers are wholly reliant on a big bag of nothing.

Which is mighty convenient if you’re in a hurry to grab a video that might not be there next time you go looking.
Just be forewarned that the interface annoys you with lots of idiot pop-ups and new browser tabs – not difficult to navigate and side-step after you’ve been through the process once or twice.

I have not seen the video yet. There is another movie worth seeing SOYLENT GREEN which stars Charlton Heston. In it the general public are given biscuits to eat which Charlton finds out to be made of people. In Victoria they are starting to kill ducks just like they did chickens. How far is it going to go?
