Meanwhile, the electric vehicle industry as it currently exists is a TOXIC DISASTER to the environment at large and humanity in general – destroying ecosystems, poisoning the biosphere, imploding economies and wrecking lives.
The so-called “fossil fuel” industry (BTW, they’re NOT “fossil fuels”, no dinosaur or prehistoric conifer ever turned itself inside out and morphed into a barrel of Texas Crude) on the other hand, has nothing but upside for economic and environmental health when it’s managed responsibly.

In the Top End of the Northern Territory, nothing will replace diesel. That is why almost every vehicle in my town is diesel, and half are Toyota Landcruisers, and a quarter of these troop carriers. Nothing else survives here.
