Yes Terry we have known the judiciary has been corrupt for decades. Otherwise they would not be chosen by the equally corrupt political duopoly. We should adopt the US system of appointing the judiciary by ballot so they can be voted out if no good.We should enforce our Chapter 3 rights to have a jury for every matter, and to remove magistrates courts in Summary Jurisdiction. I asked a young (20-30 year old) working in a drive through bottle shop, if he would take “the chip” if and when the government demands it, he didn’t even know what I was talking about, but a lady clearly in her 60’s knew precisely what i was talking about.
Here is the message. Older folks have been taught, likely through life experiences, to question before accepting most things (however, fear does modify that [corona crap] ). Younger people have been taught to specifically NOT question anything before accepting it.
It’s been said many times that the education dept. is doing a questionable job (results wise), I think that it is doing a brilliant job of producing non thinking drones, and 5.8 million drones prove my case.
Sadly, that very same fear also prevents the thinking ones from acting. A few years back, having a similar conversation with a fish and chip shop owner, her comment was,
“If there is a movement I’ll join it,but I’m not going to start it”
