Abortion is not abortion if the baby is born alive Rob Pyne, MP and babies have survived born prematurely at 24 weeks. It is not abortion, it is in fact birth. unless the baby is killed in utero. Once a baby is born a different set of laws apply which protect the baby. There are tens of thousands of babies aborted in Queensland each year, would be Queenslanders. The irony is that Australians are the least populated of all the inhabited continents and we are not replacing themselves naturally. ourselves. Abortion becomes a social problem. Importing an illegal substance to procure an abortion was a criminal offence in 2009 and that is why the young couple were charged and acquitted.

The best outcome for Queensland would be to reward those parents whose children are Queensland’s future.
